“Are you ready?” Dominique asked Anemone.

“Of course!” she answered back happily.

Taking a vacation, Dominique and Anemone wanted to sail from the mainland to a small tropical island in the middle of the ocean. The cruise was going to take about three days, but it would be well worth it.

Dominique had booked the most expensive cruise line. 100 other passengers would be travelling with them, so they won’t ever get lonely.

They didn’t plan on staying for a short while. Probably a year or so, Dominique wanted.

Anemone, alone on the top deck in the evening, stared at the waves.

Gulliver. She thought. While booking the reservations, Gulliver had somehow found his way to the shore, and was washed away. Stupid Gulliver.

Gulliver’s image appeared on the surface of the waves. What? Anemone blinked, and Gulliver disappeared.

The waves suddenly became very rough; crashing violently against the side of the ship. The strong, rocking motion made Anemone lose her balance.

Dominique came on the top deck to check on her, and was just in time to see her slip through the bottom of the railing and fall into the icy waters below.

“ANEMONE!!”
