I DO NOT OWN "LORD OF THE FLIES"!

(A/N: This poem was actually an in-class assignment my class had. We had to write or draw something about "Lord of the Flies" by William Golding in 15 minutes. At first I felt like drawing Simon with the Pig's Head or Piggy's body being drawn into the ocean, but after thinking it over, I decided to write a poem. The next day, the teacher asked me to type the poem so he/she could use it as an example to show future students. I thought it came out nicely--not bad, not good, but nicely--so I decided to put it up. I couldn't come up with a title, but it's about Jack.

The poem may seem crappy to others--and I understand that. I was probably half-asleep while writing this since my English Class is in the morning, so that could be one explanation...)

Leader of the Chorus
Hero to them all
Overruled by Ralph
Silenced is his call

Spot a mammal
Raise your hand to kill
But be paralyzed in mercy
Be regretful, stand still

Let your mind empty away
Revolve around one thought
Let your obsession be to kill
Until the pig is caught

Lose yourself to the shadows
Advance to slaughtering your own
Spread your insanity to others
And ignore the rotting bones

Love the chaos, lust for blood
Find peace in the panicked cries
You are now mine and my mindless toy
For I am the Lord of the Flies
