What up everybody?! I’ve been promising Squalls-nobody001 that I’d write her a one-shot about Blood Ties. Cassie is a character I created cuz I didn’t want to use Vicki. So anyway, I dedicate this story to Squalls-nobody001, my sis who supports my writing and is my editor and manager.

Disclaimer- I don’t own Blood Ties, if I did, Henry Fitzroy would be MINE! But sadly no, Blood Ties belongs to Tanya Huff. I only own Cassie

“Come on Cassie”. Henry held out a hand to Cassie. She looked at it then she looked over his shoulder.

“No”. She replied shaking her head, her hair moved with her head and end up falling in front of her face.

“Please”? Henry asked putting on his most charming smile. Cassie put on an equally charming smile but shook her head.

“Henry, I don’t know how”. She whispered, her cheeks went red and Henry chuckled.

“I’ll teach you”. He assured spinning in a circle. “It’s actually not that hard”.

“You know I hate falling”. She looked down. “And if you fall on this stuff it cracks and you fall through”. Henry chuckled and shook his head.

“I won’t let you fall”. He did another circle. “I promise”. Cassie looked down, then and Henry, and down again.

“You promise”? She asked. Henry got so close that if Cassie had of wanted to she could of poked out her lips and kissed him.

“I promise”.

Cassie slowly took Henry’s hand and he pulled her out onto the ice. She slid, almost fell, and hung onto Henry’s arm for dear life. Henry looked down at her and smiled,

“Stop laughing at me”. She whispered, her eyes focused on the ice below her. Henry held her up by wrapping an arm around her waist and holding her hand with his. At first Cassie wouldn’t even move, then slowly Henry gave her a little push. That, was a bad idea, and Cassie lost her balance. She waved her arms wildy and just when she thought she had regained her balance, it was like her feet were snatched out from under her. Before she could even touch the ice Cassie grabbed a hold of Henry and brought him down with her. They landed with a thud and Cassie’s eyes widened, her eyes didn’t widened because Henry was so close, they didn’t widened because he was on top of her, they didn’t even widened because of the position they were in, no they widened because she had fell and Cassie hates with every fiber in her body, falling. Henry looked down at her and chuckled,

“This is NOT funny, Henry”. Cassie said.

“I think it’s hilarious”. He replied. That’s when they both noticed the position they were in, Henry smiled and Cassie rolled her eyes. Henry leaned down and let his hair shield them from the world. Smiling he leaned down and pressed his lips against hers, Cassie smirked against his lips but didn’t push him away. When he pulled back Cassie smiled a true smile at him and he returned it, then she frowned and socked his arm.

“What was that for”? Henry asked.

“You promised you wouldn’t let me fall”. She said smiling, then she poked out her lip and it quivered.

‘Oh no’. Henry thought. She was gonna do it. The one thing he hated more than anything, ‘Please don’t’. She opened her mouth just as Henry opened his to apologize. ‘Shit’.

“YOU LIAR”!

She was gonna start yelling.

HA! I’ve only ever done one one-shot before. I’ve never really been good at it. But I like this and I did promise Squalls-Nobody001 that I ‘d write her a one-shot about Blood Ties. Reviews would be nice, if I get enough of them, I’ll put more of Blood Ties one-shots on here.
