Last night, I was looking up at the sky and I thought I saw a shooting star...So I made some wishes. A lot of wishes. And that's how this oneshot came to be.

Namine sat in the window seat in the outer sanctum of her room. She sigh as she thought about...them. Yes, them, Roxas Eodi, and Olette Yagasaki. Hollow Bastion Jr./Sr. High School's 'cutest couple' as they were better known. Oh, how she lothed asked him if they were 'together'. He told her, 'Olette? We're just really good friends. She already has a boyfriend anyway.'

'Oh, yeah right, Roxas. Tell it to someone who cares. Like her. She cares. I don't.'

'You lied to me, you told me you cared. You don't, Roxas, you don't. You know I'd never hurt you that way, and yet, you hurt me that way. Why? We were so close. You told me you loved me, but you flirted with her all that night, even after you kissed me! I thought you loved me then! Why?! What did I do to you? Do you really hate me that much? So many times that I held you, and I believed in you! You took me over... You invaded my every thought, my every dream, my every breath. And you sloughtered me from the inside out. Can't you see my scars? Every drop of blood I bled for you meant nothing. NOTHING! You can't even hear my screams anymore, you--'

The phone next to her stopped her inner cries. Namine looked at the caller ID to see her friend Kairi's number fade in and out across the small screen. She ran her fingers across the cold, hard coating on the base before deciding to pick it up, only to be drowned by Kairi's usual happiness.

"Hey, Nami," Kairi laughed, "I was wondering of you wanted to come over to my house and watch the meteor shower with me tonight."

Namine stifled a sob. Roxas used to take her on the train to the other side of the town to watch the meteor shower at Sunset Hill a few years ago...

"Namine? Are you there? Hello?"

"Hmm? Oh, I'm here. Yeah...That sounds good. So, 9:00?"

"Yeah, 9:00! Love ya, bye!' Namine shuddered at the sound of Kairi's phone hitting the receiver.

She sighed wistfully.

'This is just going to bring back all those memories again. Of...Him...'

4 hours later...

Kairi smiled as the two waited ever paiently for the falling stars.

"...Namine?"

"Yeah? What is it, Kairi?"

"What are you going to wish for?"

Namine thought for a moment. She didn't want to let her friend know what she felt inside.

"Um... I don't know."

"I do. I wish that Sora finally asks me out!"

"..Well... I hope your wish comes true, Kairi!"

"I hope you decide what you wish for soon, because the stars are starting to fall!"

A few omnipresent tear escaped her eyes. The memories were coming back...

And Namine knew exactly what she wanted to wish for...

Anger...Hate...Love... Her...

I wish that this would end.

I wish we could stop acting like we're both not lonely.

I wish that I could tell you that I hate her.

I wish that sometimes, when she's flirting with you, that I could kill her.

I wish that you would realize how much we had.

I wish that you would call me when your depressed instead of her.

I wish that you would go ahead and ask her out.

I wish this pain would leave me!
