“But what?” Hodges was looking at the most stunning women he had ever met, besides the hooker that he had a long time ago.

“I beg your pardon?” Wendy said.

“Earlier,” Hodges stepped into the DNA lab, he standing where Sara had stood only hours before.

“Not now Hodges, because of your little stunt I am behind in work,” Wendy said.

“No one asked you to help,” Hodges said.

“You were torturing Henry, Mandy, and Archie, I could only imagine what Archie would have done if he didn’t leave to go surfing,” Wendy said.

“That’s not fair,” Hodges said.

“I can’t do this now,” Wendy said.

“Later then at dinner?” Hodges grabbed her arm.

“Yeah, yeah What?” Wendy said.

“Dinner later?” Hodges asked again.

“We work nights, we just ate dinner,” Wendy said.

“Then lets make it brunch,” Hodges said.

“Only couples and families eat brunch,” Wendy said.

“So?” Hodges left a stunned Wendy.

“David!” Wendy yelled but got no reply.
