Team Hebi is love. I know some people call it Team Snake, but when I read it, it remained as 'Hebi', so I'm going to stick with it. (Disclaimer: no)
For: Cephied Variable. Inspired by Cephied Variable's Triptych, a Team Hebi-threesome fic.
Sasuke knew that Uzumaki Naruto was always one for entrances. He knew, that if he had ever been captured, his teammate would’ve come bounding down the prison’s dark halls, and all he’d see was a flash of orange through black bars, and pink following him impatiently in step.
He would’ve slumped down on the floor, and not listen to them. Naruto would’ve screamed at him and Sakura wouldn’t cry, but just stare on with silent anger, not sadness. Kakashi wouldn’t come, but neither of the two would go fetch him. They’d just stay and yell at him until and after their voices were worn and hoarse. Sasuke would remain lying on the floor, his knees not quite drawn up, his eyes as dark as the dirt and dust by his ankles and bare back; his shirt taken away because he might’ve hid weapons in it.
Until the moon finally rose and light forced itself into his eyes, would he stand.
The two would not reach out. They’d simply start pushing as much as they could, trying to break him out.
Sasuke would have watched the whole time, until they fell. Eventually, Naruto would’ve risen again, and looked at him with furious eyes, and he would stare back with equally red eyes. They only say one thing, and they would say this together:
You’re not part of it.
But, Sasuke was currently with Karin and Juugo and Suigetsu, not either of his old teammates.
Team Hebi is not at all like Team Seven. Karin doesn’t scream, but gives him only one sob and turns her head away to a different direction. Juugo lets the other remaining teammate do the talking.
If it were Naruto, he would’ve come bounding down the halls, no matter how dark or dirty or inhuman, and scream for him.
Suigetsu does none of that. He walks calmly, frowns in clear distaste at the cell’s condition; he wipes away dirt from his hand, and looks in with a sharp smile, his teeth showing in smugness.
He doesn’t let him out, just leans against the bars, and Sasuke thinks that he’s lucky he’s shackled.
“Nice, you fail.” He tells him, still grinning in a sort of half-way.
But Suigetsu is not Naruto. That much is obvious.
Sasuke, at least, knows that much.
