Alex's POV.

I woke up to someone running their fingers through my hair.
"Paige?" I was startled by the sight of her being there, right next to me.
"Good morning." She said simply, snuggling deeper under the pink and white striped duvet.
Her duvet.
I opened my eyes wider, looking at my surroundings. Her room.
"How...?"
She poked her head out of the doona. "Last night. After the dance, we came back here. Remember?"
I blinked twice, hoping my memory would clear up.

It was near midnight when we stumbled in the door.

"You know what? That was my first Degrassi dance, and possibly my best. You know why?"

"Why?"

"Because you were there with me."

She giggled. "You're crazy. Come on. We should go to sleep."

"I agree. Who knew dancing could make you this tired. Well, I'm off. Nighteo. I'll find my way to the couch."

"Couch? No way. You're coming to sleep upstairs. With me."

I grinned. "Of course I remember."

I reached out to her, putting my arms around her.

"I love you." She whispered in my ear before kissing my neck lightly.

I pulled apart, smiling idiotically.

"So... today. Do you need to get some more stuff from your house? I could drive you there..." Paige offered.

"Nah. I don't want to see Chad's sickly face again. However, I'll take up your offer on the drive."

"Where to?"

"Hmm. I'm thinking...road trip? You and me... all alone. In the heart of Toronto?"

"Done."

I cuddled up closer to her, placing my head next to hers on the pillow.
"Want to go downstairs and get something to eat?" She asked.
"No."
"Cuddle here for a good ten minutes?"
"Yup."
And there we were, with our morning breath, and messy hair. How incredibly romantic.
