Lychan

My dreams and daydreams

Whisper

The way of fang and claw

Inevitable as the moon is round.

I am, inside

Born for a second time

But I pray in silence, weep by day

Can’t contain the wolf that lives inside me

I stalk the night

Hunt city streets

In alleyways beneath the master moon

Even if, in the real world, I don’t bite

Thoughts are God’s realm too,

I only fight

Fantasies of darkness, hope of light
