Chapter 7

Last time

“So, Inuyasha, have you decided who to pick?”

“I think so . . . ”

Now

“I think that Kikyo would make a better mate than Kagome.”

“Are you going to find her right now, or wait?” Rin asks.

“I don’t have to find her, she found me.” Inuyasha says, and Kikyo walks into the clearing where Inuyasha and Sesshomaru are resting.

“So, you are a full demon.” she says.

“Yes, how would you feel if I asked you to become a full demon, and help me raise mine and Kagura’s child?”

“I would feel very happy.”

“Alright, here is the scared jewel. Lets get this done now.”

Kikyo nods, and takes the sacred jewel, closes her eyes.

“I wish I would be bought back to life as a full blood dog demon.” Kikyo says, and a bright purple light engulfs her. After the light subsides, Kikyo looks just like Sesshomaru, except instead of a crescent moon on her forehead, she has a black star there, and the fur on her shoulder is black instead of white. The scared jewel shard is now a now beautiful black stone on a necklace that is around Kikyo’s neck.

“Thank you Kikyo.” Inuyasha says, and kisses her.

“Just like old times.” She says with a laugh.

“Now the only one who needs a mate is you brother.”

“I don’t plan on taking a mate.”

“Oh well, maybe you’ll meet a woman that changes your mind.”

“Maybe, now lets go.”

“Go where?” Kikyo asks.

“To our castle, of course.”

With Kagome’s group...

Everyone looks at Kagome when she gaps.

“What is wrong Lady Kagome?” Miroku asks.

“The scared jewel is gone. I can’t sense it anymore. Inuyasha must have used it.”

“I wonder what he wished for.” Shippo says.

“Ye should try and find him tomorrow.”

“Yeah, we will.” Sango says.

The next day...

Kikyo wakes up, and finds that Inuyasha isn’t there anymore. She yawns, and gets up. She finds a new kimono to wear. It looks what she normally wears, except instead of being white and red, it is black and red. Kikyo gets dressed, and walks out of the room. She finds Shikyo in the next room, and takes her into the kitchen. When she gets to the kitchen, she sees that Rin has made breakfast for all 3 three of them. She sits down, and eats. After breakfast is cleaned up, Kikyo and Rin start to talk.

“Rin, do you know where Inuyasha and Sesshomaru are?”

“Yeah, they went out to train. They said that they will be back by lunch.”

“Oh, do you want to help me make lunch?”

“Yeah!”

5 years later...

Kagome and her group are still looking for Inuyasha. Every time they get a lead, it turns into a dead end. Shikyo looks just Kagura, except for the lines on her cheeks like Inuyasha. Inuyasha and Kikyo have a 3-year-old son, who looks just like Inuyasha, except that he has black hair. Rin is now 12, and enjoys playing with Tasatsu, Inuyasha’s son.

“Tasu, Shikyo, lets play hide and seek!” Rin yells.

“Alright!” the two yell at the same time.

Rin starts to count, and the two demons run and hide. Shikyo hides in a tree, on one of the top branches. Tasatsu hides under the roots of a different tree. While Shikyo is hiding, she sees a 2-tailed cat fly by. The cat stops, and flies back to where she hiding. The two people riding the cat look at her. The girl reaches out, grabs her by the back of her shirt. Kagome, Miroku, and Shippo are walking on the ground, and they see Tasatsu.

“Do that is Inuyasha’s son?” Shippo asks.

“Maybe, lets grab him and ask.” Kagome says, and grabs him by the back of his shirt.

“Hey Kagome! We found Shikyo!” Sango yells.

“Then Inuyasha must be close!” Kagome yells back.

The group continues to head in the direction where Inuyasha is living. Rin sees them grab the two demons, and runs to tell Inuyasha, Sesshomaru and Kikyo. She finds them in the training field, and runs over to them.

“Tou-san!” she yells.

“What is wrong Rin?” Sesshomaru asks, and everyone turns to face Rin.

“Kagome’s group got Shikyo and Tasatsu!.”

“What!?!?!”

“We were playing hide and seek, and they found them and grabbed them. They are headed towards the castle.”

“If we stop hiding our demon power, they should come here.” Kikyo says, and everyone stops hiding their power.

A few minutes later, Kagome and the rest of her group come running into the training field. Everyone gaps when they see Kikyo. Inuyasha growls at the group when he sees that they have a hold of Tasatsu and Shikyo.

“Inuyasha, is that you?” Shippo asks.

“Let go of my kids NOW!!!” Inuyasha yells.

“If we put them down, will still talk with us?” Kohaku asks.

“Yes.” Inuyasha says, and Kagome and Sango put the two dog demons down.

“What do you want?” Kikyo asks.

“What happened to Lady Kikyo?” Miroku asks.

“I use the scared jewel to come back to life as a dog demon so I could help Inuyasha raise Shikyo. A couple years later Tasatsu was born.”

“So you chose Kikyo over me?” Kagome asks.

“Yes. Rin and Shikyo both like her, plus she willing to become a demon.”

“Why didn’t you ever come and visit us?” Shippo asks.

“He decide that he wasn’t going to be on your side, and wanted to help me rule over this land and the continent.” Sesshomaru says.

“Don’t you miss us?” Sango asks.

“No, I used to, but not anymore.”

“Why are you trying to push us out?” Miroku asks.

“I am trying to avoid being hurt again.”

“Inuyasha, we have been search for you for 5 years! Doesn’t that mean anything to you?” Shippo asks.

“No. Not anymore. Please leave.”

“No Inuyasha, not without you!” Kagome yells.

“I have a family here! I’m not going to leave them!”

“Will at least visit us if we leave now?” Miroku asks.

“Maybe, just leave.”

“Inuyasha, I will get you back no matter what!” Kagome yells, before leaving.

Inuyasha sighs, and everyone looks at him.

“Are you alright daddy?” Shikyo asks.

“Was that the group of humans you told us about?” Tasatsu asks.

“I’m fine, and yes those are the humans I told you about.’

“I see why you told us to stay away from humans.”

“Yeah, that girl that grabbed me is very persistent.” Shikyo says.

“Yeah, she is. Lets go visit Kouga you guys.”

“Alright!”
