Hey Guys! Its me again! I just wanted you guys to know that I might have some problems with posting the chapters on time. Once again, my internet likes to screw with me. So can you please bare with me here? Besides, schools almost out, and by then I will have plenty of chapters ready for you guys to read, K? Alright enough with my yappin. Its time for a new chapter of " 1 isnt always the Loneliest number!"

Chapter 2: Brand New Kagome

Kagome got up the next morning feeling refreshed. She was also excited. She had finally gotten rid of those disgusting braces, and those hideous glasses.

She got up and went to the bathroom. She looked in the mirror just in case she had been dreaming. The mirror told her she wasnt.

"Shifting blue eyes, straight pearl white teeth, and black wavy hair. Yup, I wasn't dreaming."

"Uh, yes you were! Even without the dorky braces and glasses, your looks still can't compete with mine! Hahahahahahahaha!"

There was only one person who laughed like that in the entire school. Kagome knew her laugh by heart.

'Screeching, high pitch laugh, with a snotty accent to it...hmmm...whose ever laugh could be such a delight!' her thoughts practically overflowed with sarcasm.

There was only one person who really pissed Kagome off in the entire school and that was...

Kikyo Takeda.

" Not now Kikyo, i'm really not in the mood for your crap today. I have to guide a new student today."

" Like I care! Just remember whose the captain around here, and you won't get whipped by the most powerful miko."

Her lackeys around her sneered and laughed at Kagome. Kagome didn't care. She knew that she was the most powerful. Not Kikyo. They just thought that she wouldn't get any respect because she wasn't popular, so they made someone popular a captain. Mind you she was way behind Kagome when it came to power.

Kagome walked out after taking her shower and putting on her uniform, which consisted of a black skirt that came a little bit above the knees, a lavender shirt and a black blazer. Along with some black and lavender checkered leg warmers. The shirt was a cotton V neck shirt. It was a decision that Inu no Taisho made so that the students would be confortable. The girls also had a choice of black sneakers or black heels. Kagome chose both. Sometimes she would be in a sporty mood, and sometimes she would be in a cute mood. Today was the cute mood. She wore her leg warmers over the heels. It looked really good and they were confortable. After leaving Kikyo and her lackeys behind, she met up with Sango in the hall. Sango had commented on how she looked in the heels.

" Kagome I'm telling you. Those boys are gonna be on that ass. You better get yourself a weapon." Kagome rolled her eyes at her friends antics.

"Sango, remember. I'm a miko. I can form weapons out of pure spiritual energy. And my knowledge on weaponry would have put the toughest warlord in the fuedal era to shame."

"Thats very true."

As they walked to class, they had no idea that they were being followed. Or that the mysterious person had heard every single piece of their conversation.

In Class

In 's class, Kagome, Sango and Inuyasha had sat at the back of the class after they had finished and handed in their work.

"Well, Miroku had taken me out to that restuarant that was really expensive. I think it was called The Fates Game. Creepy name but delicious food."

" Yeah well me personally, I don't like it there. There was one thing I liked at that restuarant, and she was hot!"

"Inuyasha what are you talking about?" (Kagome talking)

" There was this hot chick there. I think she was called The Masked Siren."

Kagome stiffened. The Fates Game is the place that she worked. She didn't like working there but it paid excellently. Not only that, she was the one who Inuyasha had called the hot chick. She was The Masked Siren. The Masked Siren was a singer, at the restuarant.

' What if they find out I work there?'

"Kagome, are you okay? You look a little pale."

She snapped out of her thoughts and answered Sango's question.

"Me, oh I'm fine. Oh would you look at the time, I have to go escort the new student. See you guys later, oh and Sango, could you take my stuff to my locker? I wouldn't want Kikyo to look through my things."

"Sure Kagome! See you later K?"

"Alright! Oh and see you later too Inuyasha."

Inuyasha blushed and mumbled a quick ' see you later'. But then he suddenly called out as the bell rang, "HEY, HOW COME I WAS THE AFTER THOUGHT!"

Kagome hurried to the main office, no doubt that the new student she had to guide would be there. As she came into the office, she bumped into a man wearing a black suit. She looked up at him to apologize, but when she saw who it was, she smiled.

" Kagome! How's my favorite priestess doing today!"

Kagome would know that voice anywhere. It was Touga-san.

"I'm doing pretty good. Speaking of pretty, how do I look? My braces and glasses are a thing of the past!"

" You look very beautiful Kagome. Now that you've gotten that thing behind you, will you consider joining the Mating Ball?"

Kagome sighed. The Mating Ball was something that she really didn't want to consider. The Mating Ball was a dance that gave the demonic students a chance of finding a life mate, since all three races mated for life. Kagome never did go because of the way she looked. She just figured that she was saving herself the embarrasment when no one would even look her way.

" No Touga-san, I will not join in the Mating Ball."

" Whhhhhhhhhyyyyyyy?" he whined in a playful way.

This is one of the things that Kagome adored about her principal. He was fun to be around and he did not judge anyone. Especially when everyone judged her.

" Because I'm sure that no one would even look my way. I'm just saving myself from being embarrased in front of everyone. You know that I'm not as popular as you think."

Touga was puzzled by this. Kagome was an excellent student, an excellent friend, and excellent guide, and she was very beautiful. Why wouldn't anyone want Kagome? He looked at her again and he saw 5 orbs glow around her. One was white, and it circled around her entire body. Another orb, this one red, circled her as well. Another one was gold. A pink orb hovered near her shoulder, and the last one was Blue. He realized what they were. They were spells. Only very powerful beings like himself could actually see the spelss

' Hmm. Usually a spell would be describe by their color.'

There was 6 kinds of spells in total; red, blue, pink, black, white, or gold. White is the rarest. Red, would hold back demonic powers. Blue would hold back spiritual powers. Pink would hide and or change scent. It usually did both. Black was a curse, or harmful kind of spell. Gold was to seal away a person's ability to morph into their spirit animal. Everyone had the ability. Even regular humans. They just didn't know how to morph. White was usually never seen. White seals away a being's spiritual wings. Only powerful mikos had spiritual wings. He knew Kagome was powerful, but he never thought that she would one of the mikos to possess spiritual wings. He had to release all of these spells. These spells are what is most likely preventing her from finding a mate, or unleash her true power. He knew that Kagome had more power. She was the most powerful miko in the school, even with the spell on her. He had to release it so that she could be happy.

" Kagome, I know that I might sound crazy, but someone, maybe your real parents,(Kagome was found and adopted)have put 5 spells on you. All of them except a curse. I am going to cast away these spells. This is what is affecting your ability to find a good mate."

Kagome's eyes widened. She didn't think that she had any kind of spell on her. Now she is finding out that she has 5 spells on her. That does come as a shock to her.

" Alright Touga-san. Please remove the spells."

Touga nodded his head and closed his eyes as he began to concentrate. His hands glowed a light blue as he placed them on her shoulders. Kagome gasped, as the spells disappeared, and she began to glow a soft, lavender color. Her spiritual wings stretched out, itching to be able to fly. Her true scent came out. Vanilla and Roses. She grew claws, but they retracted. Something she would be able to use to defend herself, and her eyes turned red before turning back into the shifting blue color. Her spiritual power grew exponentially, and her eyes took on a white glow before once again turning back to blue. A see through animal was next to her. A black, female inu, with long ears, sleak black fur, slim build, and blue eyes. Just like Kagome's. It also had white flames on the tail and heels. A clear sign that if she morphed into her spirit animal, it would be able to fly. No doubt a benefit from the demonic powers in her.

She finally stopped glowing, and her spirit animal disappeared. She looked normal enough, but the result of her transformation was there.

" There, I have removed all of the spells. Hopefully, you will be able to find a mate now that I have removed them. Also, because you have become more powerful, I will relinquish Kikyo as captain and you will take her place. I should have made you captain in the first place. Now, it is unavoidable. I will make sure that the rest of the mikos respect you. You have gone through a lot. You deserve to captain more than anyone else. I will see you later Kagome."

Touga walked down the hall and around the corner. Kagome stood there, feeling her new power. Then she hurried into the office. She had forgotten about the new student. Her encounter with Touga-san had only been a few minutes, but she still had to hurry. When she got into the office, she had found two girls. No doubt that both of them were new students. So now she to escort two students. They looked really nice, and she was sure that they would be good friends to someone.

" Hi, sorry I'm late. I was talking to Touga-san our principal. Well, now that I'm here, why don't you introduce yourselves."

The first girl, tall with red eyes, hair in a bun with a feather in her hair. She wore the school uniform with the sneakers. She stepped up and had a small, shy smile on her face.

" My name is Kagura Kazi. I'm 17 years old, and I'm a junior. I'm a demoness, with wind powers. I can form tornadoes, with my fan, and I can also control the dead. I can also fly and attack with my Dance of Blades wind attack."

The next girl stepped up. She wore the school uniform with the sneakers as well. She was shorter than Kagura, about 5' 2 with black hair as well. It went down to the middle of her back. She had pale skin, and had golden eyes. She looked extremely shy.

"My name is Isabella Swan. But you can call me Bella. I am 17 years old. I am a junior. I'm a vampire. I can read minds, and run extremely fast. I can also sprout bat wings from my back and fly. I have a lot of strength, and I am proud to say that I am extremely hard to kill. My boyfriend, Edward Cullen, turned me into a vampire. He also attends this school. I wanted to come here so that I would be able to be with him, and also, so that I won't have to be judged by other people."

Kagome smiled at both of them.

" My name is Kagome Higurashi. I am a miko, and I am part demon. Apparently Inuyoukia. I am the president of the Student Guide council,and just recently, and when I say recently, I mean about 3 minutes ago, the Captain of the Miko students. I am here to guide you through the school so that you won't get lost, and inform you about the rules of this great learning facility, and yada yada yada. I really hate to memorize that thing. I'm sure that you guys wouldn't want to hear it either. Well enough prancing around. Lets tour the school!"

The girls smiled and followed Kagome out of the office. As they followed her through the school, Kagome's feet started to hurt.

" I can see why you guys decided to wear the sneakers. I just had to be in a cute mood today didn't I ?"

The girls giggled and Kagome thought about a way that she could continue the tour without hurting her poor feet. She just remembered that she had spiritual wings.

She called upon her wings and they sprouted from her back without ripping her uniform. She took off her heels and flapped her wings and floated in the air.

" Ahh, my feet are free from the torment of these heels! Would you guys like to fly with me?"

They nodded. Kagura pulled a feather from her bun and it grew bigger and bigger until it was big enough for her to sit on. Bella sprouted her bat wings, but they didn't rip her uniform. The uniforms were magic. They allowed students with wings to be able to call upon them without ruining the uniforms. Touga-san was extremely wealthy.

" Alright we're ready!"

Kagome, Kagura, and Bella flew through the school, while Kagome told them about the different classes, types of students, castles, rules and etc. By the time they were done, it was almost 8:00. Classes were over. She looked at their schedules and was delighted to find out that they had all the same classes as she did. Luckily, their rooms were right next to Kagome's.

" Well thank you for allowing me to guide you today. I will see you guys tomorrow."

When Kagome was about to walk to her room, she felt that Kagura and Bella had grasped both of her arms.

" What is it guys, do you need anything?"

The looked at each other, and looked shyly towards Kagome. Finally, Bella started to speak.

" Um, Kagome, me and Kagura were wondering...could you be our friend!?"

Kagome had tears in her eyes. Two more people wanted to be her friends. She smiled at them and then replied.

" Of course you can be my friends! Before I met you guys I only had 3 friends in this entire school. But thanks to you guys, I now have 5."

She hugged them both, and promised to wake them up early for class.

She went to her room and layed down exhausted. In her mind, she replayed the day's events. Her new look, new powers and abilities unlocked, becoming the captain of the miko in the school, and two new friends. She smiled, and went to sleep. In her eyes, this was one of the best days ever.

Wow that was a good chapter. Could anyone tell me what Bella's real hair color is if it isn't black? I'll just say that she dyed her yeah, I had already made the 3rd chapter, but it wouldn't save. I have to type it over now. I should have just printed it out, but I hadn't thought about that, and it deleted T-T. But don't worry, I'll just type it over. And it was such a good chapter too... Ah well. Oh yeah, for those who wanted to know how old Kagome and Sesshomaru was, Kagome is 17, and Sesshomaru is about 18. K?Anyway, what will become of Kagome now that she is becoming more popular? And what about Sesshomaru? Will he notice the changes in her? And what about her powers? Will her true scent and her powers finally be able to bag her a good mate?
