Chapter 2: I Don't Love Anyone!

“Aw, come on, sister-Tara! You must heart-love someone!” Lewa said, cheerfully, as he hung over her, a grin plastered on his face.

Taryen glared at the Toa Nuva of Air. “Well, I don’t. so get over it.”

“Not even just a little?”

Now you have to understand. Lewa had been pestering our hero for just shy of an hour. So no one could really blame her when her temper reached it’s limit.

“Mata Nui damnit, Lewa! Don’t you get it!? I. Do. Not. Do. Love! I don’t love anyone! I don’t even love Tahu, and he’s my frickin’ brother! I like him, but I don’t love him! I do not love anyone! Is that clear?!”

The peach that had been halfway to Lavina’s mouth fell to the ground with a dull ‘thud’. Nuriko, Kopaka, and Onua acted like nothing had happened. Lika, Pohatu, Gali, Lewa, Lavina, and Tahu, stared at the eighteen year old in shock.

Taryen took the shell-shocked silence as her answer. “Good.” She snarled, and turned on her heel and stormed off.
