Naruto turned away from his team. Sakura’s harsh words

had finally reached his heart. She had called him a monster…a demon. But he wasn’t that. He wasn’t the demon. Kyuubi was the demon, not him, so why

was he hated! Because it was inside him? Yes. Training had been over a good ten minutes, so kakashi was long gone. But sasuke and naruto were having their

usual after practice verbal fight, when sakura decided to barge in. that’s what caused the horrible sentences to escape her lips. Naruto quickly walked off, not

looking back at his teammates. Sakura had realized how bad she made naruto feel, and immediately felt guilty about it. “Sasuke…I can’t face him after saying

that…can you tell him I’m so sorry” Sakura asked the Uchiha. “Yeah” sasuke simply replied, walking in the direction the blonde went. He arrived at his

house, but no one was there. As he started to walk home, he heard sniffs and muffles from the forest. Sasuke followed them, leading up to a sobbing blonde.

Sasuke knelt down to the sobbing ninja. It hurt him to see the love of his life in pain. Yes Sasuke Uchiha loved the dobe Naruto Uzumaki. Naruto turned away

from him, embarrassed. “It’s okay naruto…” Sasuke whispered sympathetically. Yeah sasuke...you say that, but it’s really not Naruto thought, glancing at the

raven. “Sakura didn’t mean what she said, she told me to tell you she was sorry” sasuke explained. “Oh” Naruto said disappointed. He thought sasuke came

because he actually cared for him. Naruto loved sasuke too. “and I came because I want you to know something” The raven started. “Oh?” The blonde

asked. “You aren’t alone” sasuke continued. “What do you mean?” Naruto pushed sasuke to elaborate more. “I’m here for you okay?” Sasuke replied.

“Thanks…” Naruto said, holding back tears. Finally someone who told him he cared. No specifically, but he said he was there for the blonde, which made the

blonde fall deeper in love with his teammate. Sasuke started to stand up, blushing a little by naruto’s facial expression. Naruto stood up as well, but then

locked his arms around the young Uchiha. “n-naruto” Sasuke stuttered a moment. “You’re the only one who cares” Naruto embraced the raven tighter.

Sasuke hugged the dobe back.

total shock. But no. neither. The blonde just smiled widely. “Love you too” He simply said. The raven’s eyes grew wide as he heard the words escape

naruto’s mouth.
