Author’s Note: Guess what, everyone. I updated. lolz My mouse effin moved and the cursor disappeared, so when I hit backspace, I lost my page and now I have to effin re-type it all. -- Well, it's been a long time since last I've updated, so here you go! xD

OMFG it happened two times already! This laptop is FCKIN TRASH! Plus the fly that kept toying around my room, making me itch.

"Woah!" exclaimed the blond in excitement, pointing at a spiked-haired man racing up and down a tree. He wasn't even crawling, but running on the trunk. "How does he do that?"

Deidara was stunned by his level of knowledge of the shinobi world, and not in a good way either. "Chakra," he answered.

"What?"

"Chakra. By chakra, you dimwit!"

"Wait, what chakra? Is it like some sort of secret power?"

Now he was shocked. It took all his willpower to not punch the living daylights out of the nuisance. He was about to answer when he realized that the jinchuuriki had disappeared. Looking around, he saw him jumping up and down eagerly in front of a ramen stand. The sign read "Takushi Ramen Special" on the flapping flags that decorated the entrance. There were only a few amount of people sitting on the chairs eating, yet the space was already crowded.

"Oi, o-san," he waved at an old and gruff man seated on a rocking chair reading newspaper, "what is this thing?" He pointed at a round food with a swirly red in the middle amongst the noodle and eggs. The old man's legs were crossed on the counter and he was smoking a pipe albeit the sign on the wall that stated plainly, "no smoking!" He peeked over the newspaper at the sight of the food and looked at the kid in amusement.

"In all my years of working here," he spoke in a raspy voice, taking the pipe out from his mouth, "I've never been asked such an idiotic question."

The blond waited, undaunted.

"That, kid," he sighed, "is a naruto. A fishcake, 'ya know?"

A man went up to the counter and paid, brushing aside the once Konoha shinobi, then left. The old man counted the money, nodded, and put them into his pocket.

"Does it taste good?" asked the jinchuuriki, taking a seat in front of the counter.

"Huh?" he hummed, not looking up as he recieved another payment and counted them. "You mean the fishcake? The youngsters like them, but someone like me despises 'em."

"I remember eating it before, and it tasted good."

The old man examined him, recrossed his legs, and said sharply, "What's that you're wearing?"

Surprised at the sudden tone change, he looked down at the black cloak with the giant red clouds that reached all the way down to the floor. "Ehehe, a coat?"

Deidara had been watching the jinchuuriki from a distance but hadn't been able to hear what they were saying because of the bustling of the villagers. But from the movements of the blond, he could tell there was something wrong. The oyaji seemed suspicious of him, leering at the hyperactive kid with narrowed eyes. He got up from his rocking chair and came around the counter, inspecting his cloak, all the while referring to the newspaper in his hand. And that was when Deidara knew trouble would stir. Gathering speed, he dashed over to the Kyuubi vessel and seized his arm and slung him over his shoulder just before the old man shrieked, "Intruder alert! Intruder alert! Akatsuki infiltration!"

"Shit!" he cussed.

Deidara ran out into the streets where the villagers were buzzing with anxiety and fear. Quick as a flash, they disappeared, leaving flecks of dust in their wake.

When he was sure they were far away from Iwa, he set the bewildered jinchuuriki down. Right when he landed on the ground, he started jumping up and down again, this time in amazement.

"That was awesome! I can't believe we just transported from one place to another!" he exclaimed, his eyes wide. "You should teach me how to do that!"

Deidara sat down on the ground, tired. "I just wasted half of my chakra supply for you, you know!"

It didn't seem to affect the blond. Instead, it only seemed to fuel his excitement.

"Can everyone use chakra? Really? So I can, too?"

He started to bombard the Akatsuki member with questions that he wasted no time in hearing a response to, hurrying on to another question. Finally when he could take it no longer, Deidara kicked him and fell down in a heap on the forest floor.

"Would you shut up? Anyone can hear you here," he growled threateningly.

"Ehehehe..."

"Come to think of it, what were you doing back at the ramen stand?" he asked curiously.

He scratched the back of his head sheepishly and replied, "I was just wondering what that swirly thing in the ramen is."

"You mean naruto?" he said, his interest in the matter dropping somewhat.

"Yeah. I was curious because I remembered eating it before..." he trailed off, crossing his arms and squinting his eyes as if in rememberance.

Deidara perked up, his interest piling up again. "How did it taste like?"

"Sort of like fish...a little spicy," he nodded to himself.

"You can't remember anything else?"

"Nope."

"Well, since you like that thing so much, I'll call you Naruto from now on," said Deidara in conclusion. After all, he didn't remembered anything else, and suddenly this came up. It couldn't possibly be a coincidence. Could it?

Naruto grinned. "I think it suits me, too."

Author's Note: Yes, I know - a really short chapter. But hey! At least you know I'm alive! A plot is finally developing! I think. Oh, I'll get around to replying some of the reviews I hadn't last time. So stay tuned!

And I killed the damn fly. With my hands.

By the way, Ill edit my earlier chapters sometime later. I'm sure you've noticed how sucky they are grammar-wise compared to this one. After all, it was almost a year ago! I'm going to be thirteen by June 11th this year. Hohohoho!

...Hey, anyone still interested in this fic?

I had to catch up with all the Shippuden epi's ever since ep. 27 when Sasori...cough fell into a deep sleep. Argh! No matter, he'll awaken in chapter 5! Or something.
