Jodine16: This was a spur of the moment kind of thing. I know, not something I would write EVER, but yeah, it's for my fellow Dandy shipping friends. A shy too long to call a drabble (which is 100 words EXACTLY), so it's a ficlet.


A Moment in Hodges' Head

Meanwhile in a local fancy dinner in the middle of nowhere...

David takes Wendy's hands in his, while she was in the middle of trying to fork her peas. "Wendy I brought you out here today for a reason."

Wendy looked at him. "What's that?"

"We've been dating for five minutes now and I feel like it's been the greatest five minutes of my life."

"Only because you've never had five minutes alone with a woman, besides your mother, before," Wendy said.

"Hey! I'm trying to make you feel special here!" Hodges protested.

"Good point, you were saying?"

David reached into his pocket and pulled a box out. "Will you--"

"HODGES!!" David woke up with a start an saw Greg rolling his eyes at him in annoyance. "Now that you're amongst the land of the living, you wanna tell me what the fibre type is that I pulled from the vic's teeth?"

"You know, you really know how to kill a moment, Sanders," David growled, rubbing his eyes.
