Prompt : Opposites.

Pairing: Implied Tahu Gali

I think this is the first thing I”ve posted in a long, long time. Sorry. I’ve kinda had one of those really long writers blocks…..

Hatred, some called it. They fought, bickered, and was rarely a moment of peace between them.

Fire evaporated water. Water doused fire. They canceled each other out. They did not co-exist peacefully-not in nature, and defiantly not between them. Water was weak, he told her.

Fire was headstrong, brash, and likely to get them into more trouble than they could handle.

She wanted to say this sometimes, but she didn’t.

Fire was possessive, and dangerous, harsh, and did not hold a trace of gentleness.

Water was it’s opposite.

She was the guardian, the spirit of water.

He was the guardian, the spirit of fire.

She was patent, and kind. She was loving, and gentle.

He was short tempered, a ticking bomb, and blunt. He was harsh and driving.

She was all that was good

He was all that was cruel

But sometimes, those roles were reversed.

She could be angry, almost harsh at times when no one listened to her. When they pushed her to hard.

He could be kind and caring-if only for a moment. If only for her.

They were the yin and yang. They kept the other in check, in balance. They kept each other alive.

They were the things that should hate each other.

But they were the two beings that loved each other, more than life, more than honor or duty it’s self.

And that, was their true weakness.

Yeah, ok that was short. And crappy. But I've been having a LONG writers block...

Um...requests or something anyone?
