Ok, this one isn't as good as the other BoG fics I've posted, but only because it was the first one I ever wrote for this fandom. I think my best part is the metaphor in the middle about the train, I'm quite proud of that. So eh, I don't know what else to say. On to the story...

It was just one of those days. One of those days that make people do things on impulse and insanity runs free. Jimmy MacElroy was not often one to act simply on impulse. Chazz Michael Michaels most certainly was. Today the tables were turned. Now, the months before the big competition at Montreal had been, point blank, hell. The time afterwards was a lot better; they didn't hate each other and the world seemed to be at peace. Jimmy however, had many a problem in his fluffy blond head.

They were back at the cabin, and Jimmy could not stop glancing over at his skating partner. Chazz was brushing his hair with that ridiculous ten-thousand dollar brush. Jimmy couldn't help but smile as he saw Chazz whisper to his hairbrush. Oh, how Jimmy longed to run his hands through that perfect hair.

"Hey Jimantha, I know I'm irresistibly hot, but you're creeping me out." Chazz joked, once realizing what Jimmy was previously doing.

"Sorry…" He mumbled, blushing red. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. There was something he needed to say but up to this point he felt too scared to do so. Now he finally just wanted to get it over with. Impulse beat again, almost mocking him, and he opened his mouth to speak.

"Chazz, I was wondering if I could ask you a question?"

"You just did, you douche."

"Come on, be serious for once."

"The Chazz is always serious."

"Never mind. It's not important…" He crossed his arms and faced away from Chazz.

"No go on. I won't interrupt. Don't leave me hanging like this!"

"Ok, it's kind of silly but…what would you do if someone said they loved you? Just like in your opinion. I need…advice."

"Ohhh is there a special someone in the Jimster's life?" Chazz teased. Little did he know…

"Technically…"

"Well, I don't know. It's not like there's ever love in this man's life. Everyone wants me. Just to get a piece of the Chazz, but who can blame them I mean seriously!" He chuckled and then sighed. "Then they all leave one they get it. If I ever heard that word for real, l…" He sighed and shook his head, half smiling. He sat a minute and then glanced at Jimmy. "What?"

"Oh, nothing. I just wanted an opinion. D-don't you have any idea, though?" Jimmy was persistent, not wanting to lose this rare feeling he now had.

"Well, I look at love like this. You walk in front of a train, and you jump away just before getting totally owned. You look over to the side and find a million dollars. That's love."

"Uh…what the hell does that-"

"No, no, no…see it's a shock, but then it's a good thing." He shrugged and went back to brushing his hair like the conversation never occurred.

Jimmy shifted in his seat and chewed his nails, once getting the answer he needed. If he was going to do it he'd better do it now, his mind was made. The moment might pass by and regret would replace it. So he got up and took a seat opposite the room, very ungracefully one might add, and linked his fingers through Chazz's resting hand. Chazz, in confusion, opened his mouth to speak, but Jimmy placed a finger softly on his lips. He took a deep breath and then just right then and there, kissed him. Jimmy pulled back and looked the other straight in the eye.

"Chazz, there's something I need to tell you…"

Thanks for reading! Everytime you review, someone gives a baby a cookie. Everytime you flame, a baby gets put in the microwave. Keep that in mind...
