Tory: Another random urge to write something. This time a oneshot. It's a little bit different from my other stories and a whole new twist from my mind. But all the same I hope you enjoy!
Disclaimer: I've said it before, I ain't saying I don't own it again. XP
Summary: It was her game and she thought she was in charge of things. But she was wrong... so wrong. He turned the tables and took control. And, she liked it.

A Little Game
Her mission had been simple enough- patrol the boarder of the Fire Country. A few days before the Hokage of Konohagakure had received information that the Akatsuki were heading that way. So, she sent her student out to search for signs.
Now, Sakura was leaning against a tree, taking a break. It had been raining all day, and still was quite a bit. Not that the pink haired kunoich minded- she liked the rain. It was soothing, cleansing and calmed her to the core.
A nearby presence shattered her serenity and she stood up. That presence was familiar. Too familiar. She headed towards it and knew she wouldn't be heading back to Konoha with no information.
She stalked through the bushes and crouched in the shadows, her chakra masked well. Within minutes her target was in sight. As she crept closer and drew a kunai to attack, a branch snapped under her foot. 'Dammit!'
The Akatsuki heard this and disappeared instantly. Apparently her job was going to have to be hard.
She felt the chakra presence a little ways away and headed for it again, this time conscious of where she stepped. She once more neared her target and drew a kunai. It was almost too easy. Wait. It was way too easy. Sakura shook this paranoia from her mind and continued in her hunt.
'A few more feet to go and... he's mine.' She threw the weapon in his direction, purposly missing. Then she revealed herself from her hiding spot, another kunai in hand.
"Y'know, it's almost a shame I have to kill you, Akatsuki." she said smugly. She knew his name, yes, but wouldn't give him the pleasure in knowing she remembered it.
"Well, you can't kill what you can't catch, un." the cloaked man retorted just as smugly.
Sakura smirked and sent a chakra powered fist into the ground, jarring the smug blonde and shattering the ground.
"Strong, un." he commented.
She looked to him with an unreadable expression. She almost had a look that was crossed between playful and murderous. That, in itself, stirred something in the blonde.
"I'll give you a head start." Sakura whipsered in his ear, startling him. When the hell did she get so close?
In a poof of smoke he disappeared and Sakura's grin grew wider. She was going to like this game. Like cat and mouse.
Searching for his chakra signature she raced off. She didn't really know why she had the sudden urge to be playful, and with an S-class criminal no less. But what she wanted, she got. And she wanted to toy with him before dragging him back to the Hokage for interigation.
She jumped from tree to tree, a thrill growing inside of her. The presence was just up a head. 'Is he even trying?' She jumped down into a clearing and landed swiftly on her feet. The rain still beat down, blurring her vision just a little. Not there.
"Come out, come out where ever you are." she called in a playfully mocking way. This was fun.
Something stirred in the bushes to her right. 'Gotcha!' She pounced like a cat on the source of the sound. Not there, again. 'Not bad. But still not good enough.' she thought as something else stirred. She pushed through the bushes and found only a small clay bird. Wait! Clay bird?
"Oh shi-" she jumped back just before it exploded and was thankful that there was a tree to hide behind. 'Getting better...'
So was he trying to play with her too? That made things a whole lot more interesting.
"You're quick, yeah. But dodge this, un." he whispered in her ear, sending a chill down her spine. A chill she dared to say she didn't hate at all.
Turning swiftly she was surprised, yet not, that he wasn't there. In his place stood a small clay animal, larger than the last. It went off and sent her backwards. If it had been a more powerful explosive she'd be dead. So he was trying to play too. Too bad this was her game.
Shakily she stood, the blast had cut her pretty bad, but nothing severe. It was just a toy. A trail of blood trickled down her forehead and she wiped it away with the back of her hand. 'Getting much better...' She noticed that some of her clothing had been charred and even a little ripped. The rain washed anyblood away and felt cool against her exposed skin.
"Is that the best you've got, Akatsuki?" she was just taunting him now.
"No, un. And the name's Deidara, yeah." he said from across the clearing. How the hell did he get there?
"Whatever you say, Akatsuki." Now, she was just trying to piss him off.
A grin made it's way onto her features as she tantalized him. But, oh how she did tantalize him. She had alwas been like a cool drink of water in the desert that was always just out of reach. He had felt like that about her for sometime, since he met her. Even after he found out she had killed his Sasori-danna.
"That's Deidara to you, kunoichi, un." he retorted, trying to glare at the one he wanted so.
"Sure, Akatsuki." she was loving this too much.
Anger crossed him as she continued. "I told you to call me Deidara, un." he stated firmly, anger getting across very clearly.
"Why don't you make me, A-ka-t-s-" he was suddenly in front of her, gripping her wrist, stopping her.
"It's Deidara, un." he repeated harshly.
Sakura was still a little shocked at how fast he moved and was standing there with a blank look for some time.
"What's wrong, Sakura, un?" he asked in an almost mocking way.
She came back to reality when she noticed how close he really was. She stumbled back a little, into a tree stump, and looked to him, her cocky attitude gone for now. She almost looked like an innocent little girl right then. But both of them knew other-wise.
Her playful look came back once more. "I said make... me... A-ka-t-su-ki" her voice held something that Deidara couldn't quite place.
"Fine, un." he replied, grin in place, and voice holding the same tone as Sakura's. Little did he know he was playing right into her hands.
Walking forward he made to trap her between him and the tree. But, she moved under his arm and out of sight in the blink of an eye. 'Where the hell did she-' his thought were cut off by her breath on his ear.
"You'll have to be quicker than that." she whispered before vanishing again.
He tried to find her chakra signature but came up with nothing. She was good. So, he'd have to be better. A rustle in the not-too-far distance caught his ear. And his smirk grew. He snuck up on her and had a great plan in mind.
o.o
Sakura hid behind a tree and made quite a loud racket. She'd make sure he found her. This game wasn't over yet. She sensed him 'sneaking' up on her and suppressed the urge to giggle. When she felt he was close enough she got ready to strike. But, he chakra presence had suddenly disappeared, as if with the wind and rain.
She peeked around the tree and found he was gone. Turning back aroud with her eyes closed, she tried to find him. Her back was against the tree and she was so sure she had a lock on where he was, when suddenly she felt a breath on her cheek. Then another and another. Her eyes snapped open and she would've screamed... if he hadn't pressed his lips to hers in a forceful, wanting way.
Caught in her own trap. She should've pounded him into the ground long ago, but this game had become so alluring. He had become so alluring.
A hand on her side of her head, he added more force to the kiss. He smirked when she reacted to it, and pushed back, letting a small moan escape her. He pulled away and trailed kisses down her jawline, then her neck and grinned into the crook of her neck when he felt her tense under his touch. Oh how he was going to enjoy this.
She moaned again when he continued back up her neck and dangled his lips just above her own. Now it was his turn to taunt her.
"What's my name now, yeah?" he asked, looking into her slightly glazed eyes.
"You still have to make me say it." she replied, cursing him inwardly for doing this to her.
"Persistant are we, un?" he asked, a twinge of playfulness in his visible eye.
"Damn straight." she whispered as she closed the gap between them.
Common sense and everything else went out the window then. They were in too deep to get out now. And they loved it.
She ran her hands up his well toned body and rested them flat against his chest. Then she pushed him back with just enough force to knock him on his ass. He was expecting her to have regained her senses and run away. But what she did surprised him.
She stradled his hips and pushed her lips to his again, missing the feeling already. Like I said before, she always gets what she wants. And now she wanted him, plain and simple. She pulled herself away and held his shoulders down to make sure he didn't try anything.
"Giving up so easily? Y'know, you shouldn't be laying down on the job." her words were full of lust and her eyes held a challenge.
He flipped her over and was now stradling her. He pinned her hands above her head and leant down close to her ear.
"I think I like where I'm laying, un." he whispered, sending another shiver through her tense body.
Her breath hitched in her throat for a second. Again caught in her own game. But she loved it so much. She closed her eyes and bit down on her lip to stop another moan as he slowly -so slowly it was painful- pulled down the zipper to her top. He tore away the red fabric and kissed her again, the rain pouring onto her white top she wore underneath.
He let go of her hands and used his own to support his weight as he ran the other along her side. She moved into his touch and he smirked again. Her now free hands moved to his cloak, slowly undoing it. She pushed it down his shoulders and ran her hands along his back, before linking them behind his neck.
The rain continued to beat down on them mercilessly, not that either minded... or noticed. Deidara once again trailed kisses along her skin, this time venturing further. After traveling down her stomach and back again to her neck, he got an idea. Maybe he could win this after all. He gently bit down on the skin and got the reaction he was looking for.
"Ah!" she squeaked in surprise, "Deidara!" She realized her slip.
He hovered above her, a victorious smirk on his face. "I win, un." his voice was smug.
Sakura surprised him yet again when a smirk of her own appeared and she rolled them over so she was on top. Now, pinning his hands above his head she leant down, almost mocking his actions.
"No..." her voice playful and full of lust, "I'd say it's a tie." She grinned as she moved back to lips. This time and this time alone she'd settle for that. She may have lost the game but in her mind she won something else, if only a once in a lifetime thing.

Tory: Meh, not too crazy about how I ended it. But whatever. I had some fun writing this. As you can see from this small glimpse, my mind is rather twisted. I may add some things like this into other stories... probably into 'Forbidden Love' at some point too. Oh, I'm rambling, sorry. Anyways, please review! I may do a sequel or something else along these lines. Cheers!
