Disclaimer: "Defy the destiny" is a fic written based on the game, Breath of fire 4, Capcom© included the era 600 years ago and some plot will be changed in the present of the game too. The story's main character would be Anastasia, my character and Fou-Lu, a character in Breath of fire 4. Yes, I'd have Digimon as the holy monster inside this fic too. But they don't play too important role in the story so it would be a Bof 4 fic instead of Digimon fic. Please bear in mind that only Anastasia, Alberry and Miko and perhaps some mythical creatures, and other character which cannot be found in Breath of fire 4 or in Digimon series are my friends and my characters, although Alberry and Miko were only mentioned in the story. All the other characters belongs to their respectively owner like if they are Breath of fire 4 character, they belongs to Capcom. If they are digimons, then they are belongs to Toei, if I wasn't mistaken.

I have tried my best to avoid grammer/spelling mistakes but I hope you can bear with my simple language. For your information, because I'm only capable in modern english, Fou-Lu, and other ancient characters HAVE to speak in modern language too in the story. Sorry about that. Anyway feel free to send me your review. But I hope it won't be something like, "Curse you for pairing up Fou-Lu and Anastasia!" I know there is a lot of people would dislike this pairing especially if they are supporting Fou-Lu and Mami's pairing. But chill out, this is just a fan fiction. Capcom won't change anything in the game even if Anastasia kisses Fou-Lu here, right?

Introduction

She was flowing within this unknown domain unwillingly.

When did she fell into this abyss? When did her body defy gravity? Since when did she stick inside this nameless space? WHERE she was now? And where she would be ended up at? These questions had no accurate answer, not like all locks have their respective key to unlock them; they were just making her even more worry.

Her sleepy eyes were still covered by her thick eyelashes; her lips were half-opened like a flower bud just grown out from a delicate plant. Her fine appearance made her look like a magnificent goddess statue; everyone would be awe at her if they look at her beautiful face and at the same time, they will gaze at her with adoration. Her flowing long purplish black hair with purple highlights and her robe were floating upwardly, while her body was moving towards the force of gravity. Strange, wasn’t her body defying gravity before this?

Gradually, her body started to move at a fixed direction.

“Where am I?” Her enchanted voice was resonating in the depth of her subconscious. “Who…am I?” Slowly, to her horror, she realized a terrible truth—her memories, her reminiscences were all devoured by this nameless space.

Everything, anything was happening in a slow process. So slow…so numb…

“No!” She almost screamed, “I can’t loss my memory, my own self!” Her eyelashes began to flap like a butterfly which is going to fly. “I…I…am Anastasia Drawise!”

At the moment she uttered her name, her sapphire life crystal pendant suddenly flashed.
