It was a busy day at the SGC and it was some big troubles with the Stargate, it just wouldn’t work and Teal’c who was going to take a visit to see his son Rya’c was in a bad mood for being unable to go to the planet. Hammond had ordered Sam to look at their problem, Daniel was going to translate the symbols on the latest device they had found and what Sam thought had caused the problem with the gate. Teal’c got ordered to help Daniel, while Jack who wasn’t as smart as the others got a little time off from work. He was now putting Final Fantasy VII in the Play Station machine and had played a while when Daniel got in the room.

“Hey, Jack… Do you…” Daniel was going to ask him if he wanted to join for a snack in the cafeteria with the others, but Jack had interrupted before he could finish.

“Not now… Busy… I just got Yuffie in the group and now she’s gonna fight her father… This should be interesting!!!” Jack grinned and ignored Daniel who was standing in the doorway.

“Never mind…” Daniel rolled his eyes and leaved the room.

Later, Teal’c came by to see what Jack was doing. To his surprise Jack was actually crying and it looked kinda stupid, especially for a person like him.

“What is wrong, O’Neill” Teal’c asked, serious as usual.

“Aeris just died… She was my favourite character in the game… And now she’s dead!” Jack sniffled, both angry and sad. “Damn that Sephiroth… I bet’cha he’s a Goa’uld!!!”

“You know that it is just a game, O’Neill!?” Teal’c asked, still with the serious look at his face.

Jack frowned then… He turned around and looked surprised at Teal’c a long time until he suddenly came up with a huge grin on his face!

“Hey, T… Wanna play… I bet’cha think it’s fun!” he suddenly asked loudly.

“No thanks!” the Jaffa replied annoyed and walked away.

“Oki doki…” Jack said before he continued his game.

When Sam was going to get something she needed to fix the Stargate problem at her lab she walked by the room where Jack was playing.

“Oooh, chick fight… That is soooo sexy!” the Colonel said and looked amazed at the

TV-screen where Tifa and Scarlet had a slap match.

“Oh my god…” Sam said to herself and rolled her eyes before she continued to the lab and got back to the Stargate.

When the Stargate program finally was back on line, she headed back to her lab so she could finish her own work for the day. On the halfway she saw Daniel and Teal’c stare into the room where Jack was playing his precious little game. He had been playing for hours now!

“Oh for crying out loud… She’s throwing up… That’s disgusting!” Jack yelled. He had got to where Yuffie had got airsick at Cid’s plane and where now asking Cloud for a Materia contract. “Don’t sign that damn contract, Cloud… I bet she is a Goa’uld as well, can’t you see that she’s foolin’ you?”

“Why is O’Neill talking to the person in the game?” Teal’c asked the others.

“I think he’s loosing it…“ Sam replied.

“No, it’s just the way he is…” Daniel said to her. “He does that when he’s looking at The Simpson’s as well!”

“Aren’t anyone intend to stop him Daniel Jackson!?” Teal’c asked.

Suddenly Janet walked by and joined them.

“What’s happening here?” she asked the three of them.

“Jack is loosing it…” Sam repeated.

“How long has he played that way?” Janet asked as she looked at Jack as well.

“The whole day actually…” Daniel answered.

“Whaaat???” Janet yelled, “That’s not healthy…”

She walked into the room and pulled out the contact to the game.

“Heeey… I was playing that!!!” Jack screamed out disappointed.

“It’s not healthy!!!” Janet yelled to him.

“To hell about my health!!!” Jack yelled back.

“Now they’re both loosing it…” Sam said while she looked at Jack and Janet yelling to each other.

“But on the bright side, O’Neill is not playing anymore!” Teal’c said to her.

“Whatever… I saved it for a reason!” Jack said to Janet, he put the contact back and started to play again, but Janet just glared annoyed at him.

Suddenly, Hammond walked by and yelled angry at Jack. “Colonel O’Neill, what the hell are you doing!?”

Jack froze by the voice of the General.

“Eh… Doh? ” he replied and tried to be innocent, but the fact was: He was busted!

“The gate is back on line… You have work to do!” Hammond said and walked away.

“Oki doki…” Jack replied and followed the General, Daniel and Teal’c followed as well.

“Stupid jerk… Listen to the boss, but not me!” Janet muttered for herself.

“What did you say!?” Hammond asked the doc.

“Nothing…” Janet replied and walked away as well, Sam just watched her leave with the others.

“Now she’s loosing it…” Sam said and followed as well.

The next day, when Jack was playing The Simpson’s: Hit and run! Daniel came by.

“Your not playing Final Fantasy VII anymore!?” he asked Jack.

“Nah… To much emotions… The Simpson’s is fun all the way!!!” Jack replied happily while concentrating on the game.

Later at the briefing room all of SG-1 showed up to their arrangement, all except of Jack!

Hammond stared at the others and yelled out angry…

“WHERE THE HELL IS COLONEL O’NEILL?”
