“Carter… Wanna have some fun!?” Jack asked with teasing voice. He, Sam and Teal’c all sat in the cafeteria. A strange acting Daniel had gone long ago to do something they all thought was because of the stupid translating thing.

“Why are you talking like that!?” Sam asked suspicious.

“Well, I’m bored… Anyway, remember that Fraiser kept those stupid Danny glasses?” Jack hinted sarcastic.

“Yeah… And where are you going with this?” Sam replied careless.

“You never thought of why!?” Jack asked.

“No… I know why!” Sam smiled.

“I know too, you know!” Jack grinned, “She likes him… And Daniel likes her as well!”

“He said that???” Sam suddenly asked curiously.

“No!” Jack replied.

“But why does it sounds like it then?” Carter asked again, still curious.

“You know… Glasses!” Jack replied sarcastic again as he twice bowed his fingers, “Wanna do the mistletoe trick!?”

“I believe it is not yet Christmas O’Neill, I believe it is September!” Teal’c said as he joined the conversation.

“Rules are rules!” Jack replied in a singing tone, “Your in or out???”

“I am in O’Neill!” Teal’c smiled.

“Carter!? Mistletoe…!” Jack said, trying to persuade her.

“All right, All right… I get that stupid mistletoe thingy!!!” Sam snapped and walked away.

“I knew she couldn’t resist it!” Jack said delighted.

“Indeed she could not!” Teal’c agreed.

Daniel walked trough the corridors on his way to the infirmary, he had a little thing on his mind that he just couldn’t seem to get out of his head. Something he had been wondering about for a long time now… And therefore the simple little thing went to be a big problem. He had now figured out that he should just ask Janet about it and get it out of his mind that way, but since he actually really cared about her he didn’t wanted to make her feel uncomfortable… But to hell with that!!! He had reached the infirmary, but didn’t see her anywhere.

“Damn… No Janet!” Daniel hissed disappointed to himself.

“Eh… Daniel, is something wrong?” a familiar voice asked from behind him, he got jumpy by the fact that it actually was Janets voice. Her voice! He turned around and saw her standing in the doorway, it was a long pause before Janet broke the silence.

“Daniel, you have been acting strange lately… Is everything okay!??” she asked with concern in her voice.

“Uhm… I just… Want to ask you something, if its okay!!?” Daniel replied.

“Yeah, sure… What is it?” Janet replied as well and walked away from the doorway and toward him. Daniel looked at her… And knew that she awaited his question!

“About my glasses…” Daniel replied then and took her hand in his, but got interrupted by a nervous Janet.

“What… About them!?” she suddenly asked shyly, Daniel where sure he could hear stammering in her voice. Well, if it wasn’t just playing with his mind he actually could… And he where pretty sure it wasn’t his mind at all, she where actually stammering!

“Why did you keep them, even though you knew I where gone!?” Daniel asked, still holding her hand. She then pulled it away, by trying to not look him in the eyes she rather look away.

“You were ascended, there where chances you could come back!” Janet replied low.

“But you couldn’t know… And you did it anyway!” Daniel told her, “Not Jack, Not Sam… Or anyone else… But you did!”

“I’m a doctor, its my job!” Janet replied quickly.

“But then I disappeared with no traces left behind… I could been destroyed by Anubis right then… And be gone forever! But you still kept them!?” Daniel continued.

“Why are you… Telling me this…?” Janet asked, still nervous. Daniel knew right then that he was right all the way, he was sure that the way he loved her… She loved him as well!

“Janet…?” Daniel asked and placed his hand on her cheek, then smiled softly to her.

“What is…” Janet replied, a little shocked by his suddenly admire. But she got interrupted by the fact that Daniel pulled her closer to him, then she felt his soft lips against hers. Janet got a surprised feeling at the first moment, but after a little while when she started to kiss him back Daniel happily wrapped his arms around her and the kiss got more passionate. It was Daniel who broke the kiss, but he still held her in his arms.

“I love you too!” he finished with a calm voice, then looked at Janet with a soft smile.

“Whoa… That was something!” they both heard a familiar voice over at the doorway, and there stood an grinning Jack with Sam and Teal’c beside him.

“Sir… I think we can drop that mistletoe trick after all!” Sam grinned as well.

“Indeed we can!” Teal’c agreed smiling.

“What, mistletoe…?” Janet asked confused and noticed Sam waving with a mistletoe in her hand. Then, all of a sudden Daniels yelling voice screamed out loud.

“DAMN YOU GUYS… IT’S NOT EVEN CHRISTMAS!!!!!”
