Bright moonlight shined down on the two, lone figures. Two ninjas shot at each other and a clash of metal was heard as their kunai clashed. They jumped backwards, each glaring at the other with the same hatred a rival has towards his opponent. Red, sharingan eyes came from both nin. Uchiha Sauske had found his brother, Uchiha Itachi.

“You’re going to die tonight!” Sauske roared at his elder brother.

Itachi made no sound; he had nothing to say to his younger brother. He regretted nothing he had done in his past, and he never will. Blue chakra erupted from Sauske’s hand and became lightning. He started running and Itachi jumped to the side. Sauske trailed right after him. Itachi continued dodging it until he was at the edge of the rocky abyss. Sauske kept on running at him. Itachi considered jumping over and landing on the slick wall. What happen next was either divine intervention or a back fired jutsu. The chidori in Sauske’s hand disappeared and he shrank. His eyes got bigger and contained innocence in them and he wasn’t fitting his clothes as well as hey use to. Soon, a younger, more innocent Sauske was standing in front of Itachi. The little Sauske looked up at Itachi.

“Niisan, what’s going on?” he asked.

Itachi was stunned by what he had just witnessed. When he finally grasped what had happened, he sighed.

“Ah shoot.” He said.

Sauske cocked his head in an adorable way and smiled, his eyes closing with the smile. Itachi just stared at his five year old brother. What the heck am I gonna do now? He thought. The only thing he could think of was to get his little brother some decent clothes and maybe some food. He looked starved. He picked Sauske up and began walking towards the nearest town.
