Chapter One: Say Goodbye.

Hermione bust into her room tears in her eyes, why did he do this? Just when she was happy, when he was happy, when they were happy…

Hermione sniffed as she remembered the horrible event that she had just witnessed…

FLASHBACK

Hermione ran up to Draco, panting hard, “Draco! I need to tell you something…. Mother said you could come live with me and we can go to school together. I’ll give you details on the train…Draco? What’s wrong?”

Draco’s face was red and little streaks of tears where on his cheek, “Hermione…” he whispered "I can’t come with you, in fact I can’t even come on the train…”

Hermione looked worried “Why Draco, what wrong?”

Draco took in a deep breath, “Because I’m changing schools….”

Hermione was completely shocked, “But Draco how….”

Hermione’s question was answered when she saw Lucius Malfoy appear.

“Come Draco,” he said, “We don’t won’t to keep our ride waiting”

Draco looked Hermione in the eyes, “I’ll think about you everyday, Goodbye Hermione”

He kissed her on the cheek then left leaving Hermione all alone…

END OF FLASHBACK

Hermione smothered her face in a pillow, it had been 2 weeks since she had sent Draco a letter, but there had been no reply.

Hermione sighed as she turned on her muggle radio; Hermione was very surprised to hear the DJ say “This is for all you Hermione Grangers out there”

Hermione turned up the radio as the Song came on….

Hermione was crying by the time the Song had finished.

It just had to be from Draco, it just had to be…….

“Hermione Dear, You’ve got mail!” Hermione’s Mother called from the kitchen.

Hermione ran down the stairs and received her mail from her mother.

As Hermione looked at the letter she became confused,

‘Who would send me mail the muggle way?’ she thought

Hermione ripped open the letter and gasped, the first line told her who….

Dear Hermione

Looks like I’ve found a way to talk to you without my father knowing,

I was finally able to read your letter and would like to say one thing,

“I feel exactly the same way too”

My home address is 122 Bommel Drive London, my father won’t know its you

If you use my muggle address my Dad won’t suspect a thing.

Say hi to Potter and Weasly for me and tell Potter to take good care of you or else

Well I have to go now I love you Hermione and always remember

Hermione smiled as he put the letter down, Draco was right there love would never die, no matter what Lucius threw at them,

“Goodbye Draco” she whispered “Goodbye……”
