Everyone’s entitled to peace, right? A guy deserves a break sometimes, doesn’t he?

Don’t get me wrong, I ain’t someone to shirk responsibility. I’d like to think the opposite.

I’ve got a spot. It’s not a hiding or secret place, it’s a peaceful place. My boys know they can find me there, but they know that they better not disturb me unless it’s important.

I know some newsies spend their time on rooftops, but I like docks. There’s one dock, for storing crates. Sitting on stacks of them, I can see all of New York.

For one second, it’s peaceful.
