Summary: She was through with love. He had left her alone and heartbroken. She had already lost her family, and then she lost her team. Banished from her team for “treason.” Her daughter was taken away because they thought she would hurt the child. So she disappeared. Everyone thought she was dead. There had been so much blood. It had been everywhere. Five years had passed. Trade between islands increased. Bands traveled from island to island, performing for the citizens. What happens when Krystal Itami appears on Metru-Nui as the lead singer of a popular band, Bleeding Hearts?

Xander jumped and pulled his cell phone out of his pocket.

“Xander.” Xander frowned. “Cassie? Wh—Hey, calm down! Where am I? Uh, Ta-Metru…I think. Why do you—Okay, okay! I’ll find out, geeze!”

Xander turned and faced Lhikan. “Um, could you please tell me the address of where we are?”

Lhikan raised an eyebrow and told him. Xander relayed the information to his ex-wife.

“Now will you tell me why you need to kn—Hello? HELLO?!?!”

Xander snapped the cell phone shut, fury etched into his features. “Bitch.” He grumbled.

A few minutes later the sound of tires screeching to a halt caused Aiden to look out the window. His eyes just about bugged out of their sockets when he saw who it was.

“Uh, Xander? I dunno how to tell you this, but Cassie’s outside...like right now.”

Xander fell off his chair and scrambled to the door. He ran outside and started interrogating the woman.

Gavin, Audra, James, and Aiden scrambled to the window.

“What is she doing here? Holy Mata Nui, she brought the baby?!”

“She brought the twins and Samara, too!”

“Is she on crack or something?!”

All of a sudden the four of them looked murderous. “Oh, no she didn’t!” Gavin, Audra, and James scrambled for the door, but Steve threw himself in front it. “No! No way are you going out there!”

Gavin looked upset. “She hit Gracie!”

Aiden winced, still at the window. “Yeah, and Xander hit her back!”

Steve was frozen for a moment while it registered. She hit…his goddaughter.

The door flung open. “YOU’RE GOING DOWN, BITCH!”

Aiden jumped from his seat. “Wait a minute!” he yelled at his team. “Are you insane, you can’t kill her! We are staying in a house full of Toa!!”

Aiden winced at Audra tackled Cassie and proceeded to beat the living snot out of her. “Ohh…that’s gotta hurt.”

Gavin marched back in, carrying the twins, Grace and Faith. Both of the girl’s eyes were red-rimmed and teary. And both were sporting a few bruises.

Steve came in close behind, dragging his best friend, who was clinging on to the eighteen-month-old infant, who in turn, was wailing loudly. A young black-haired girl followed silently.

Steve was fuming. Xander was in shock. James was cheering on Audra, who was still trying to beating Cassie into a bloody pulp. Aiden had run outside and was now trying to drag Audra off of Cassie. Gavin was trying to calm down the twins. And now Cassie’s new boyfriend was trying to beat the crud out of both Aiden and Audra.

“Shhh…Gracie, Faithie…it’s okay…”

Lhikan felt an all too familiar twitch in his left eye. ‘The hell…?’

Shruikan returned to the house after going outside and threatening Cassie and her boyfriend with physical bodily harm if they didn’t leave immediately. James, Aiden, and Audra were right behind him.

Faith howled, wiggled out of Gavin’s arms and ran to Audra. “Aun’ Awdwa!”

Audra picked the toddler up and hugged her tightly, smoothing her brown hair.

“Xander, if you want to end the tour early, we won’t mind.” She said quietly.

Xander held Kai close and shook his head, gently rocking the whimpering infant,

“No, no I’ll be fine.” He swallowed hard, fighting back tears. “I’ll…I’ll fill you in on the details later…I need to be with the twins right now. Sammie when I'm done with them I want to talk to you, okay?”

‘Sammie’ nodded, her hair covering her face.

Xander handed Kai to Steve and picked up Faith and Grace.

They were identical, except for their hair. Faith had white blonde and Faith had light brown hair. Both of the girl’s hair came down just past their shoulders. Other than that they were perfectly identical in height, face and body structure, and even voice.

Xander walked into the backyard with the girls.

Kaylani stared after them. “Well….that was interesting…”

Steve shot her an apologetic look. “I’m so sorry. Cassie has a bit of a drug problem.”

Audra stayed silent, and took the baby from Steve. She sat on the couch and cradled her godson. Kai cooed happily, and grabbed at her hair. Audra smiled at the infant’s antics, and kissed his tiny hand.

Nina admired the infant from afar, recollecting on her own children’s infanthood. Audra looked up and smiled. “I’m sure Xander wouldn’t mind if you held him.”

Nina walked over hesitantly and sat down next to Audra. Audra smiled gently and handed the baby to the elder woman.

Nina giggled as the baby latched onto her necklace. “What’s his name?”

“Kai. He’s eighteen months.”

Kaylani soon joined the other women on the couch and fawned over Kai. Kai grinned happily, soaking up the attention.

Lhikan smiled at his wife’s behavior. She was usually like this when small children were involved.

Audra sighed and curled up against Steve, who was seated next to her, his arms around Samara. “I told you we should’ve gone to Ira-Nui for vacation. This place sucks.”

The Toa protested loudly. “There's a lot of history in this city...” Lhikan said, defensively.

Audra snorted. “Translated;” Audra moved her arm as if she were pointing at imaginary words. “Old as SHIT!”

Audra’s teammates laughed hysterically, while Shruikan, Kaylani, Nina, and Nidhiki had to fight back smiles.

Samara leaned into Aura’s

Xander stroked Grace’s blonde hair, while he hugged Faith reassuringly. Both girls had told him what was going on at their mother’s house. Apparently Cassie had started drinking a lot more than she usually did about six months ago. Then she had met her new boyfriend, who didn’t want kids. So, Cassie didn’t want kids anymore either. She had planned on giving Xander sole-custody of the kids. But, Samara wasn’t Xander’s daughter. She was Cassie’s and her high school boyfriend’s, who incidentally was in prison for trafficking child pornography. Now Cassie didn’t want Samara either. But then she found out that Xander did. Long story, short; Xander had a beautiful vintage 1960 Mustang Convertible. Cassie wanted it. So, Xander had just traded that car for Samara. He didn’t regret it for a second. Xander sighed and shifted the girls, so that he could carry them inside.
