A/n sorry for taking so long to update….. School is being a bitch along with my parents. I have a 70 in Geometry because my teacher hates me and I hate her and I just transferred out of her class. I barely passed an essay in my Honors English Class. A freshman is annoying me and everyone was mistaking me for Azula from Avatar the Last Air bender when I dressed up as Itachi for school on Halloween.

Chapter 3 Shards

Himeno and Goh stared at the black shards. Himeno even though she wasn’t a miko could feel the evil emanating from the shards. As they started at the shards and at Kagome she seemed to glow bright pink. Himeno and Goh watched in aw as the shards turned back to pink.

“Kagome…..” whispered Himeno

Kagome’s eyes then opened and she sat up and looked around.

“Kagome are you alright?” asked Goh

“I’m fine now. Thank you, Goh. Come on Himeno lets go to the university.”

Himeno just nodded as Kagome dragged her out of the room leaving a very puzzled Goh to wonder what happened to Kagome. Thinking that it was something dangerous he decided to go find Kei.

Kagome and Himeno were walking down the sidewalk of the street that led to the university when….

“HIMENO!!!!!”

Kagome and Himeno turned to see Himeno’s romance obsessed from Yayoi come running towards them

“Yayoi do you need something?” asked Himeno

“Yes I do. Himeno can you please do me a favor when your dad finishes his next book can you please get me an advanced copy. Please Please I need more romance!!”

“Calm down Yayoi why don’t you go get some romance manga for now because you’re starting to scare me.”

“Okay!”

Yayoi then turned around and skipped back down the street towards the nearest book store. Himeno sighed and said,

“Geez that girl is obsessed with romance and its starting to get on my nerves.”

“Why is she obsessed with it?” asked Kagome

“I really don’t know. I think it has something to do with an ex-boyfriend. All I know is she gets kind of over obsessive sometimes. Anyways some on the university isn’t much farther.”

Himeno then dragged Kagome down the street towards the university. For most of the way the two girls walked in silence until Himeno asked, “Kagome, you said you’ve had weirder things happen. What did you mean exactly? I’m I know you said you went on this journey in the feudal era but what exactly happened there?”

“Well, it’s hard to explain. It’s been four years since I began my journey in the feudal era. I’ve met many strange people. I’ve almost died on more than on occasion. My friends have nearly died. My friends have betrayed me but have come back. We’ve fought against demons, an unrelenting dead priestess, a band of resurrected mercenaries, and hordes of other demons that were after this jewel. So someone telling me that you’re the new Pretear doesn’t surprise me in the least.”

“I see. So what do you want to study at the university?”

“To be honest I’m not really sure. For the past four years because of my journey I haven’t been able to think about school. But what I might like to do is take a class in archeology and mythology.”

“Well then your in luck Awayuki University has two of the finest teachers for archeology and mythology.”

“Well then what are we waiting for let’s go and meet these professors that you say are the greatest.” Said Kagome as she pulled Himeno down the street

“Kei!”

Kei turned in his work chair to see Goh running over to him

“What do you want, Goh?” asked a very agitated Kei

“It’s that girl Kagome.”

“What about her Goh. Get to the point already I have to get back to work.”

“Well you see those jewels that she had with her. They started to glow black when she felt this strange presence and then she glowed pink and the jewel shards went back to normal.”

“Well I haven’t found any demon larva and I don’t know how could be a princess of disaster. I’ll check it out but until then why don’t you go keep an eye on her and Himeno. Where are they anyways?”

“They headed over to the university.”

“Dammit all!!!!!!!” screamed Inuyasha as he paced back in forth in front of Keade’s hut

“Inuyasha will you stop pacing. Your wearing a hole in the ground and it won’t make the day go by any faster.” Said Miroku

“Shut up you stupid Monk!!!!”

“Inuyasha, Kagome wouldn’t have left in the first place if you had given up Kikiyo.” Said Sango who was holding Shippo

“Shut up I already know that!!!”

“Then stop pacing. Your giving us all headaches.” Said Shippo

“I’m trying to think you little pest!!!” yelled Inuyasha as he hit Shippo over the head, “Of ways to get through that damn barrier!!”

“May I be of some help Inuyasha?”

Inuyasha turned around and saw Kikiyo walking towards the small group.

“Hey mom do you think Kagome is going to have fun at college?” asked Sota

“Well I’m not sure Sota. Everyone has a different experience while at college.” Said Mrs. Higurashi as she prepared dinner

“What was your college life like mom?”

“It was interesting. I met your father while I was in college. Actually it was Natsue who introduced me to him.”

“Really?”

“Yes, your father was an amazing man.”

“Mom, what do you think sis is doing right now?”

“I imagine she is picking what classes she wants to take.”

“This place is amazing Himeno!!!” exclaimed Kagome as they stood in front of the University

“Yeah well Natsue likes to spend a lot of money on things.”

“I can from the size of your mansion. This is going to take some getting use to.” Said Kagome as they entered the gates of the University

“Himeno!! Kagome!!”

Kagome and Himeno stopped and turned around to see Goh running towards them. When he caught up to them Himeno asked,

“Do you need something Goh?”

“No, I just decided to hang out with you two.”

Kagome looked at Goh for a second and then shrugged it off and turned around and continued there walk towards the university.

“Himeno, what are the professor’s names?” asked Kagome as they walked

“The professor of Archeology is called Mr. Takamura and for Mythology is Mrs. Saichi.”

“Well I can’t wait to meet them.”

It didn’t take them long to find the Archeology room. Mr. Takamura did not have a class. He was man in his late 20’s. He was 6’5 and had mid-neck length black hair. He wore glasses. He was a rather attractive man. Before they left for the Mythology room Kagome thanked him for letting her join his class.

When they reached the Mythology room Professor Saichi also did not have a class. Saichi was a short woman about 5’2 with long wavy brown hair and beautiful green eyes. She was in her early 30’s and wore a black top and a black knee length skirt.

After they left the Mythology room Himeno asked,

“Kagome are there any other classes you might want to take?”

“I’m not really sure. I think I’ll just have these two for now.”

“Alright so what do you want to do now?”

“Well its mid-afternoon and I’m hungry why don’t we go find some place to eat?”

“Alright, how about we go to the restaurant Goh works at.” Suggested Himeno

“That’s fine with me. Do you mind Goh?”

“No not at all.”

Kagome smiled and the three of them began to make there way to the restaurant where Goh worked.

“Kikiyo, what are you doing here?”

“Like I said, I’m here to help.”

“So, Kagome has put a barrier up on the other side so you can’t go through.”

Inuyasha nodded.

“Well then I can help you break the barrier.”

“How you can’t get through the well.”

“Are you sure about that.”

A/n stopping there. Yes this was a lame chapter but hell I couldn’t really think of much to write. Please review and maybe just maybe I’ll update before February.
