Extragalactic Empire

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…

After decades of war and rebellion the Jedi Alliance and the New Galactic Empire have agreed to a peace treaty that will end their terrible conflict.

Representatives from both sides meet aboard the Jedi Ship Sapphire Saber above the neutral, outer rim world of Belkadan, near the Galactic Barrier at the edge of the galaxy.

Among the delegates is the Grand Master of the Jedi order, Aden Skywalker, along with his daughter Allana and a company of Jedi who prepare to meet with the Imperial Representatives.

Chapter 1: Shadows of Hate

Jedi Alliance MC Class StarCruiser Sapphire Saber in orbit of Belkadan

It was at last a time of peace. After years of violence and death the Jedi and the Empire had finally agreed to sit down and discuss a mutually beneficial arrangement to stop the bloodshed. Allana Skywalker thought of the happy times that would come from the events that would transpire here today. Her father would convince the Empire to cease its attacks on Jedi worlds and allow them to live in peace. No more of her life long friends and clan mates would die fighting for a hopeless cause.

She looked around her overly lavish room as she pulled back her chocolate brown hair into a simple ponytail. She liked simplicity. Not the chaos of war and fear and death. She had been hardened by the war. Her own mother died fighting the Empire, it took a half dozen Imperial Knights to bring her down as they raided her family’s home. Allana had been only six years old at the time Karina Skywalker was beaten down by a group of Knights in their blood red armor and matching white lightsabers. They all wore cloaks so she had never seen any of their faces.

Good for them. She thought bitterly as she remembered their leader laughing as he gutted her mother before her eyes as she cried in the room’s corner, clutching her childhood toy bantha. She remembered her mother’s violet blade fending off the evil knights. A limb fell with each one of her attacks. But that one knight, who she saw had copper hair and a jagged scar over his left eye. He gripped her mother’s throat with the force. The force that binds all life in harmony. And he used it to crush the life out of her mother as his ghostly white blade, soullessly identical to the rest, gouged out her mother’s stomach. She vividly remembered the smell of her burned flesh as the knights moved in on her. She cried out as any small child would.

Her father came to her rescue. Aden Skywalker, a direct descendent of the most powerful line of force users in recorded history dating back to the chosen one himself burst in with a howl of rage at the murder of his wife. His emerald green lightsaber weaving through the air with a power and grace that Allana had never seen. He had cut down every last Imperial Knight that had invaded their home that day. Or so they thought. The leader, the one with the copper hair and the jagged scar had escaped. That day Allana ceased to be a child. She never saw her toy bantha again; she didn’t need it to keep her safe. She swore an oath of vengeance on that Knight. She swore before the force itself that she would kill him for what he had done. Her teachers warned her of the dark side but she held on to the knowledge that what she was doing was to protect any other little girl in some small cottage on a peaceful planet from loosing her innocence the way she had.

Allana smoothed out the navy blue robes she wore and tenderly placed around her neck, the golden locket her mother had given to her as a baby. It held a picture of Allana, Aden, and Karina Skywalker. They were together in a peaceful meadow laughing at their carefree bliss. It almost brought a tear to her eye when she looked at this image, almost. She had never cried since that day when her mother was killed. Some of the other students claimed that her heart had been frozen in carbonite like the legend of the hero sacrificing himself to save the princess from some terrible villain. “Carbonite Queen,” they called her.

Her rage was broken by a banging on her door as her father’s voice called out, “Hurry Allana! We’re going to be late! The Imperial negotiators are arriving and I want us to put on a good presentation!”

“Coming father!” She replied before straightening her robes one last time and exiting her overly lavish quarters. Her father stood waiting, in his formal black robes worn only by a master of the Jedi Order. His normally unruly black hair was straight and slick which must have taken hours and his goatee was neatly trimmed.

“You look beautiful my dear.” He said taking her hands in his. “Your mother would be proud of this accomplishment. Peace after all this time. It still seems like a dream come true doesn’t it?” He sighed deeply as they walked down the ship’s corridor together.

“Yes father.” She replied monotone.

“Cheer up sweetheart.” He urged her. “This is a happy time.”

Not for mother. She thought bitterly. They were making peace with her murderers. People who deserved to be fed to a sarlacc, not to forge alliances with.

“Are you so sure that this is the right thing to do?” She asked suddenly. “The Empire is vicious, how do we know that they will keep their part of the bargain?”

“This Empire is not like Palpatine’s Empire.” Aden replied matter-of-factly. “They are power hungry and controlling like he was, but not evil.”

“How can you say that father?” Allana blurted out. “After what they did to mother we should strike back harder!”

“And what would that accomplish except more death?” Aden asked still sounding calm.

“It would get rid of some of the people responsible for all the suffering that exists under the Empire’s tyranny.” Allana spat.

“Such things can never truly be destroyed Allana.” He father cautioned. “Vengeance is a path to the dark side my dear. You must be on your guard or it will consume you. Remember the stories of our ancestor, Anakin Skywalker?”

“I remember father. He gave in to his hatred and became a ruthless Sith.” She recited like a bored child.

“And he nearly caused the utter destruction of the Jedi order.” Aden added. “And he wasn’t the only one; Luke Skywalker was temporarily an agent of the darkness when he tried to use it to his advantage, only to be corrupted by it.”

“And Ben Skywalker was under the influence of his cousin Jacen Solo when he turned to the dark side for a while. And even grandpa Cade was controlled by his grief and lust for revenge.” Allana finished. “I’ve heard all this before father.”

“But you fail to recognize these situations as they repeat themselves in you.” Aden said now with great concern in his voice. “All you think about now is how your mother was killed. You were a small child at the time. I had known her for years. I loved her with all that I was and she loved you the same way. She would not want you to fall because of her.”

“This isn’t because of her!” Allana shouted as her anger grew. “It’s because of them! The Imperial Knights are monsters father! Why can’t you see that?”

“Allana you must find peace.” He cautioned before taking a stern pose. “I do not believe that you are ready to face this momentous event. You will return to you quarters immediately and meditate. I will come for you when I sense that you are ready.”

“Father!” She called out as she was stopped in her tracks by an invisible barrier.

“Go young one, you must find your peace. It is out there, somewhere, you just need to find it.” He said. “Do not think that I am not affected by your mother’s death Allana. I found my peace in this universe. I found it with her in my arms and now that is gone. Find peace Allana, for I am the one who has forever lost it. Let go of your anger before it is too late.” He pleaded before entering an elevator and disappearing.

As her father left her the barrier vanished and Allana spun around on her heels in a huff. “Order me around like that, will he?” She spoke aloud as she stormed passed crewmembers in the hall, gathering a few nervous stares that were cut off with a venomous glare from her emerald green eyes.

She needed to blow off steam, not meditate. Instead of turning right to her quarters she turned left to the ship’s gymnasium. She threw the doors aside and tossed her outer robe aside. Underneath she wore loose pants in dark grey and a black tank top.

Storming to the nearest console she activated a strenuous Jedi training program where several war bots would attack with stun set lightsabers. To start off, four droids advanced as Allana gracefully whipped out her cyan blue lightsaber. In a matter of seconds the first droid was in pieces and the second was missing its head and right arm. The third made a high strike from above that she easily dodged by spinning out of the way like a dancer doing a pirouette. The fourth droid unleashed a flurry of quick attacks that she blocked away and followed with a sweep that cleaved off the droid’s legs. Only droid number three remained as droids one, two, and fourth lay in smoking heaps. This one fired a repulsor out of its arm the same way a Jedi would push an opponent with the force. Allana was unprepared for this and thus landed unceremoniously on her backside with a loud umfff.

“So you want to play rough?” She asked angrily even thought the combat droids were not programmed with linguistic capabilities.

Allana battered away at the droid but it blocked all of her strikes with mechanical precision. Now getting even angrier, she tossed her blade at the droid’s head like a boomerang but missed as it rolled to the side. Frustration growing Allana yelled in rage as jagged blots of blue-black lightning arched out of her fingertips and instantly overloaded all of the droid’s circuits. It fell to the floor in a smoldering hunk of melted slag as Allana panted from the exertion. Sweat covered her in a thin layer, making her lightly tanned skin glisten under the florescent lighting.

As she deactivated her weapon a figure emerged from the doorway slowly clapping in mock congratulations.

“Nice job.” He said sarcastically. The man appeared several years older than her at nineteen. Making him possibly twenty-three years of age. He had shaggy reddish hair and a beard of the same color with icy blue eyes. He wore the armor of a Mandalorian Neo Crusader minus the helmet but had a lightsaber attached to his belt at his right hip.

“Who the hell are you?” Allana asked sharply, giving her cold stare that she would use to scare off any would-be suitors.

The Man just smiled at her gall and replied, “I am Zurth Endag of the Mandalorian Clan Ordo. I was born on the planet Onderon, graduated top in my class at the Mandalorian Militia camp on Dxun, and trained as a Jedi Knight on Dagobah for the last six years. I enjoy long walks on the beach and spicy Kuati food, and I love girls with an attitude.” He grinned mockingly at her as he approached with arms crossed in contempt.

“Well,” She began. “I am Allana Skywalker of the Jedi clan Skywalker. I was born at the enclave on Ossus, trained as a Jedi my whole life on Ossus, Mon Calamari, and Hoth. I enjoy sweet Hapan food and beating self absorbed men senseless if they try to lay a finger on me.” She replied sarcastically as she sized up the newcomer.

He merely grinned again. “You say you’ve trained your whole life.” He stated rather than questioned. “But your form is sloppy, you let your emotions crash around in your mind like a caged boma beast. You are a disgraceful example of a Skywalker.” He announced suddenly becoming harshly critical.

“What?!” She blurted out in amazement. “You waltz in here hitting on me and then call me a disgrace to my family! You sure know how to charm a girl.” She scoffed.

“You have spirit and that is good Allana, but you must harness your emotions. Keep them in check. They are a part you like your arms and legs. Do your arms and legs thrash about on their own? No, you control them because they are a part you. Take control of your emotions the same way.”

“I came here to blow off steam, not to be lectured by you!” She challenged angrily as her rage began to return.

“There’s that temper of yours again.” He chided. “You are going to do something foolish because your emotions dictate your actions.”

“Try this!” She yelled as her cyan lightsaber span to life and she leapt high into the air to strike Zurth from above. As she landed on the padded mat she realized that Zurth was gone from his previous position and not within her field of vision. She spun on her heals with her blade ready to parry an attack but was shoved onto her rear as Zurth’s palm connected with her midsection, knocking the air right out of her.

“I see that I take your breath away.” He teased as he picked up her now deactivated lightsaber that had flown from her grasp when she was unceremoniously deposited on the floor.

He gripped the hilt in his gloved hand and activated the energy blade. After whirling it around several times he deactivated it and proceeded to disassemble the outer casing.

“What the hell are you doing to my lightsaber?!” She bellowed as she scrambled back to her feet.

Zurth did not answer as he tinkered with the inner facets of her weapon. “This is junk.” he stated as he crushed the circuits with the force.

“How dare you!” She screamed as he discarded the now empty metal casing. “I built that lightsaber with my own hands! I personally forged the crystal myself!”

“Natural crystals work much better.” He replied casually as he began searching through a pouch at his belt. “Yes this will work fine.” He muttered to himself before turning to face Allana once more. “Come by the workshop after the ceremony for the Imps, you won’t regret it.” He winked and then strutted out with a spring in his step.

“What just happened?” Allana asked herself.

Imperial Galactic Class Star Destroyer Marasiah in orbit of Belkadan

Before him, floating gracefully in space like a mammoth sea creature in a vast ocean of stars was his destiny. The Sapphire Saber was the flagship of the Jedi’s fleet and on board were some of the most powerful and influential Jedi in the Galaxy.

Imperial Knight Scorpio Krieg stood glaring at the ship that he would soon present as a trophy to his emperor with the head of Aden Skywalker as his own prize. Twelve years ago he and his team of Imperial Knights had been sent to bring down Aden but had found only his woman and child in the Skywalker home on Ossus. They fought with the powerful Jedi woman but she would not be captured and he had been forced to kill her. He then saw the little girl huddled in the corner. Planning to use the child to get to her father, he went to grab her but was stopped as Aden appeared and proceeded to butcher the men and women under Scorpio’s command. He had barely escaped with his life that day and had sworn vengeance on the Skywalker clan for the deaths of his team. It was his first mission as a Master Knight; he had been only twenty six years of age.

Now his revenge was within his grasp. He and another Knight would board the ship in place of the Imperial Representatives and murder the Jedi as they dropped their guard. The Marasiah would then send boarding parties to secure the vessel for transport back to Coruscant. Simple, deceptive, and ruthless. Just the way he liked it.

“Planning the perfect way to kill Skywalker again?” Asked Scorpio’s apprentice and long time friend, Mars Garvin. She wore her dark brown hair in a pony tail with a bun where it met her scalp. She had flawless features from being raised as a concubine but Scorpio had found her to be strong in the force and pledged to train her.

“I don’t care how he dies as long as it is by my hand.” He answered coldly. His blood red armor shown in the lighting of the Star Destroyer’s bridge. His imposingly tall form and jagged scar across his left eye caused junior officers to scamper away while he kept his copper hair simply hanging to his shoulders.

“You really need to lighten up.” Mars joked as she gave his forearm a squeeze. “We will need to fool the Jedi to get close enough to kill every last one of the dogs. But we can’t do that with you pouring out anger like this.”

“I will be ready my young apprentice.” He responded without moving.

“Don’t give me that ‘young apprentice’ bantha poodoo Master.” She sighed. “I can feel when you are troubled.”

“I feel something from that ship. A power far greater than any I have come into contact with before. The dark side swirls within this individual. The aura is familiar.” He mused before realization struck him. “The Skywalker girl!” He shouted. “She is strong indeed. The dark side fuels her power. She may be of use to us.”

“Yes Master.” Mars replied solemnly.

Main Hanger Bay of the Sapphire Saber in orbit of Belkadan

Captain Koth Pierion of the Sapphire Saber stood at attention as the row of Jedi Knights walked calmly past. Along side Grand Master Aden Skywalker, were his fellow council members Solari of Orax and Ryguyab of Kashyyyk. Master Solari was a Shard crystal that inhabited the synthdroid body standing before Captain Pierion. He controlled the droid with the electromagnetic impulses that his Shard species use for communication. Master Ryguyab was the only son of the legendary Wookie Jedi Lowbacca who fought beside Jacen and Jaina Solo almost two centuries ago. His fur was a very rare snow white from his partial albinism and dedication to the light side of the force.

Following them was a procession of three Knights and two Padawans assigned to the Sapphire Saber for this particular mission. The Knights, Lighton Solusar of Rindao, Utrota of Malastare, and Shadi Valkyri of Hapes stood proudly at attention behind their masters in matching robes befitting the Jedi. Taking up the rear were the Padawans of Masters Solari and Ryguyab. The Melodie girl, Anuxa, of Yavin VIII and the grey furred Ryn, Grug, of Nar Shadda.

Koth himself was a Son of Mandalore and follower of the Mandalorian ways. He had been born to Jedi parents on the base hidden in the Maw but joined the Jedi Alliance military due to his lack of force abilities. Next to him was his first officer, Sarna C’Tan, a blue skinned Rutian Twi’lek from the undercity of Kuat and the group of three Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders who made up the elite guard of Grand Master Skywalker. In the blue and yellow colors of clan Skirata was Davrel of the planet Ordo with his cropped black hair. In green and brown of clan Shysa stood Kelborn of the planet Dxun with his own blond hair kept short. In the red and orange of the Neo Commander, was Zurth Endag of Onderon, standing proudly with his fellow warriors.

It was quite a sight. So many Jedi and Elite warriors or politicians of the many races of the Jedi Alliance all waiting anxiously for the arrival of the Imperial delegates to put an end to the war at long last. The Prime Ministers, or Presidents, or whatever’s of many peaceful worlds had gathered for this event.

Zurth Endag served as the eyes, ears, and mouth of Mandalore for their worlds of Mandalore, Concord Dawn, Ordo, and Dxun. There were the leading Jedi Masters of the enclaves on Vendaxa, Yavin IV, Hoth, Maw, Eclipse, and Dagobah. The chieftains of Kashyyyk and Yavin VIII gathered with the Prime Ministers of Kamino and Mon Calamari, the Majister of Zonama Sekot, the Queen Mother of Hapes, The King and Queen of Onderon, and the Saarai-Kaar of Susevfi.

Koth turned from his observation of the vast array of his allies at the sound of the ship’s klaxons, signaling the arrival of the Imperial shuttle. Sleek and streamlined, it glided through the shields that kept precious atmosphere from gushing into space and landed with barely a tap on the metal floor of the hanger.

Jedi, crewmembers, and Mandalorians alike stood at attention as the shuttle’s boarding ramp lowered with a hydraulic hiss and a group of ten cloaked figures descended from the dark cockpit. The first was tall a bulky, most likely a well fit human male. The second was more petite, a human female perhaps. The rest all seemed to be subordinates. All of them kept their faces hidden under their hoods and revealed nothing until they bowed deeply to Grand Master Skywalker.

“Welcome aboard honorable representatives of the New Empire.” Aden greeted warmly. “We have prepared a banquet in your honor before we begin the formal negotiations. I am sure you must be tired.”

“We are Master Skywalker.” Replied the second one, definitely a female human. “Will you and your Knights be joining us?”

“I don’t see why not.” Aden answered. “We are all friends now.”

“That remains to be seen.” The taller negotiator stated coldly.

“Very well.” Said Aden more suspiciously as he motioned for them to take the lead with a sweep of his hand.

Koth frowned. Something wasn’t right about these Imperials. But it was probably just old feelings from the war. He followed the procession at the head of the line of officers until they were through the transparent blast doors of the air lock between the hanger and the rest of the ship.

No sooner had Koth’s feeling of unease begun to subside, than the Imperial Shuttle exploded in a blast of plasma flame and shrapnel. Most of the crew had still been in the hanger as this happened. All of them were now dead. Over two hundred lives were gone in the blink of an eye. Before the shock of this revelation could register in Captain Pierion, the Imperials all threw off their cloaks to reveal the blood red armor of Imperial Knights, the Jedi of the Empire. All of them had their identical white lightsabers ready in a flash to begin hacking away. But the Jedi were fast too.

Aden Skywalker let loose a wave of powerful force energy before a Knight could strike him. All of them were knocked against the hallway wall by the blast. Two died on impact with sickening cracks as their spines were crushed within their armor.

“Get to the bridge!” Aden yelled as the other Jedi drew their sabers to do battle. One of the Mandalorians, one of Commander Endag’s Neo Crusaders, grabbed Koth by the arm and pulled him into the turbo lift to the bridge. Commander Endag himself had his russet colored lightsaber blade deflecting blaster fire away from the command crew.

Over the shoulders of his protectors, Koth could see the Jedi valiantly fighting the powerful Knights. He saw three more Imperials fall to the Jedi’s blades and another was ripped in half by the Wookie Master’s bare hands.

But then he saw the Hapan Jedi, a woman who couldn’t be older than twenty, fall with a cry of pain as an Imperial’s white blade grazed her side. Next he witnessed Master Solari’s droid body activate a stun field around another Knight who was easily cut down by Lighton Solusar’s duel blue sabers. This was the last of what he witnessed as Commander Endag ordered his two Neo Crusaders to protect Koth’s life with their own. The Mandalorian Jedi charged into the battle as the other Jedi backed away to allow him room. Then the sliding doors closed as he was taken to safety.

Halls of the Sapphire Saber fleeing orbit of Belkadan

Zurth Endag noticed that most of the Jedi had gone back with the captain and his commandos. Only Master Skywalker, Master Solari, and Knight Solusar remained with him. He had seen Shadi Valkyri injured by a Knight’s blade but Anuxa was a competent healer, she could handle it.

They chased the three remaining Imperial Knights through the halls of the hulking vessel in a running saber duel with neither side landing a blow. Zurth felt the tension rise as the lead Knight blasted force lightning at them, only to have it blocked by an energy shield from Solari.

As the corridor opened into a walkway around the reactor core the battling foes spread out staring each other down. Lighton was the first to strike, spinning his twin weapons, one in each hand. But the Imperial Knight used a stasis field attack to freeze the white haired Rindaoan in mid leap. He crashed heavily onto the floor and was knocked unconscious.

Solari then used a droid flamethrower on his forearm and the force to amplify the attack. One Imperial screamed as his cloak caught fire and, seizing the opportunity, Zurth chucked his own lightsaber like a boomerang, removing the burning man’s head from atop his shoulders.

As the weapon returned to him he witnessed the Female Imperial render Solari inactive with an energy blast to disrupt his droid body’s circuits leaving only Master Skywalker and himself against the two leading Imperial Knights.

“You cannot hope to defeat us Jedi.” The leader taunted. “Our ship has orders to open fire on your vessel and boarding parties are on the way. Most of your crew was killed in our explosion and we have already crippled your ranks.”

“We came here hoping to end the fighting but I see that was not your intent. Prepare to pay for your treachery scum!” Aden challenged as his emerald green blade clashed with the lead Knight’s.

“I am stronger than I was when last we fought Skywalker!” He shouted over their battle.

“What do you mean?” Aden asked as he blocked a blow that would have cut off his head.

“Twelve years ago when my team raided Ossus, I crushed the life out of your woman Jedi. It was my blade that killed your wife!” He cried as he fired lighting at Aden once more.

Aden merely absorbed the blast with his lightsaber before responding. “You took my peace from me that day. You ended the life of my fellow Jedi and the woman I loved. For that I will stop you. I was blinded by your promise and my own desire for peace. But no longer.”

“Father!” Cried a girl’s voice from behind them. Everyone turned to see Allana charging into the fray.

“Allana no!” Aden yelled. “You are not ready! Umph!” He cried out as the Knight shoved him into the wall with a force push. His emerald lightsaber fell from his grasp and clattered across the floor only to be pulled by the force into his daughter’s outstretched hand.

Allana landed before the lead Knight and hacked away at him with all of her pain and rage. “You killed my mother!” She cried out with tears staining her face. “I will kill you! I will end your pitiful life! AHH!” Allana too was then shoved away much more forcefully toward the pit of the power core.

“No!” Zurth yelled as his hand flew up. He reached out to Allana in the force to hold her in midair so she would not fall to her death. He gently pulled her back toward the platform but lost his grip as a white saber severed through the wrist of his outstretched arm. “AHHHGGG!” He screamed as he collapsed to his knees from the ripples of pain now shooting through his arm.

Allana gripped the edge of the platform when his grip was removed and she pulled herself up to face the Knights.

“I am Scorpio Krieg,” The lead Knight said. “I am the one who will finally end the Skywalker legacy!”

“Never!” Allana hollered with a blast of her own lightning that knocked out the Female Imperial but Scorpio held his ground against her assault.

“You cannot stop me girl!” He challenged. “I bested your mother when you were still a child.”

“I saw it all!” She screamed. “And I will make you pay!” They both raised their blades to strike but fell to the deck as the ship shuttered under a barrage of turbolaser fire. Power conduits and plasma injectors around the room instantly overloaded and blasted open.

Aden Skywalker pulled himself to his feet and gripped his fallen comrades with all the strength the force could give him. He tossed them all through the nearest blast door as he saw Scorpio lift the female knight and run the other way. There was not time to follow him. Aden charged for the blast door but fell to the deck as another volley struck the ship. The warning klaxons of a shield breach went off and another blast cut a gash in the durasteel wall. Air gushed out into space as the room depressurized. Aden reached out to his daughter one last time. He felt her aura burning brightly but it swirled with the darkness of her rage and hate. Good bye Allana, I love you my daughter.

“Father!” Allana screamed as she pounded her fists on the blast door that had magnetically sealed against the hull breach but it was no use, Aden Skywalker was already gone.

Bridge of the Sapphire Saber fleeing orbit of Belkadan

“Captain on the bridge!” An officer yelled as Koth Pierion stumbled out of the turbolift with Mandalorians and Jedi on his tail.

The ship shook from blasts from all directions as more Imperial warships came out of hyperspace to join in the battle.

“Report!” Koth hollered as he took his place in the Captain’s chair.

“Main hanger bay is completely destroyed with all hands lost!” One crewman called out.

“Hull breach near the secondary power core!” Another yelled as more circuits exploded in showers of sparks.

“Aft and Starboard shields are gone! Forward and port shields at twenty percent!”

Haar’chak!” He cursed. “Can we make it to hyperspace?!” Koth asked. (Damn it)

“We are still in Belkadan’s gravity well Sir!” Another blast rocked the ship.

“Communications array was just fried Sir!” Someone reported.

Shabla! Target the closest Imperial ship! Try to knock out their weapons! Ba’slanar naasad oyayc! Get as much speed out of this bucket as you can! I want hyperspace in thirty seconds! Cuyir Kandosii sa kry’am ast.” Koth ordered. (The “F” word/Leave none alive/Be as ruthless as death itself)

“Yes Sir!” The remaining bridge crew sounded as more blasts hit the ship.

“Hyperdrive’s been hit!” The officer at the engineering station announced.

“Too late! It’s already been activated!” The helmsman yelled.

“We’ll be warped to pieces!” The engineer replied.

“Then its time for Suurn ca’nara.” Koth said calmly. (The State of Blissful Rest and Peace)

The bridge was filled with a blinding light as the stars stretched into streaks of light that enveloped the ship in the glowing blue tunnel of hyperspace as the explosions ripped across the ship from the final volley of the Imperial warships.
