SasuSaku
summary: After Sasuke came back from Orochimaru, he found a note in his apartment. From her. It was always her. But, it wasn't what he expected. After 3 years, it still wasn't what he expected her to be. Black with red clouds.
Hm, this is going to be another crappy fight scene. But, thankfully, it will go by rather quickly. But (sniff) I am happy to say that this story is a teenager...w00t w00t!
WARNING:
PS!! THIS CHAPTER CONTAINS MILD NARUTO SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T READ THE MANGA!! ((its within the first sentence of dialogue)) don't worry, it wont have an impact on the story if you don't read it.
chapter 13
Am I Dead Yet?
An agoniazing roar let out from within the cage. Its claws scratched desparately at the bars as the light grew, temporarily blinding the beast. Its fierce eyes glared at the form infront of it, its immobile body sprawled across the concrete, the thin line of water soaking into it's clothing.
"Damn you. And damn your father...the fourth hokage!" The beast bit out, snarling at the seemingly helpless creature infront of it, nearing death rapidly. The oxygen seemed to be running thin as the creature was already gasping for air as the limp form infront of it showed no signs of life.
"You deserve to die, your weak! I, on the other hand, am stuck here and left for dead, all because of you!" The creature roared, barely breathing. Truthfully, it sounded like a whining child. After a couple minutes, it started whimpering. Red chakra surrounded it, the beast shrinking. The creature was now a baby red fox, which easily slipped through the bars. It had nine tiny tails that cutely swished around as it bounced towards the body outside. With its nose, it poked the arm. No use. Noticing it probably wouldn't work, its jaw opened and tightly closed on the arm.
"OOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWW!" The body sprung up and the fox let go, curiously looking up at the blonde. "A little fox? Hey, what are you doing here?" He gently asked, squatting down infront of the fox.
"You killed me. If you weren't dying, I'd be my regular size and not a ghost. Its all because of you, damnit!" The fox growled, motioning towards the cage. The Kyuubi's cage. "Now that I'm dead, you must also die. It's the only way...Naruto" It whispered, teeth bared. Before Naruto could react, the fox's jaw was clamped around his neck. All that registered in his head was the black around him, everywhere. The last thing in his head was an image of Sakura and her voice saying "I'm sorry", quickly fading.

"Now then..." Kabuto chuckled, pulling out some kunai. "Would you rather we kill them first, or you?" He asked, the kunai to the fallen's necks.
"How about we take our friends and run for our lives without you trailing us?" Ino suggested, her shaking rivaled that of an earthquake. So, now she realized why Sakura was terrified all those years back. The duo was, rather intimidating.
"And, to go with that request, should me and Kabuto go back to the base and sip tea while eating those little triangular sandwiches?" Orochimaru grinned, not too long before going into an insanely evil laugh phase. "I don't think so. But, because of your request, I'll just kill these deadweights to spare your lives, for a second." Orochimaru took a couple steps towards Kabuto who pressed the kunai tighter on the necks of their victums. Ino looked onto the scene with horror as the other two remained calm.
"Come on. We have to fight them!" Ino whispered, stopping Naruto's healing.
"No, you idiot! We don't stand a chance! Things like this happen alot and, as the remaining members, we have to deal with it and get on with our lives because, if they died, they would have died in vain if we just gave up our lives as well!" Tenten scolded, putting Ino's hands back above Naruto as she, herself stood up.
"I would like to make a more, reasonable request. We will let you kill them but not us. Is that fair to you?" Tenten asked, not phased by his appearance and power.
"So selfish, aren't we? Well, maybe. What else to you have to, trade in, if you will?" Orochimaru asked, looking on curiously to the weapon mistress.
"What, may I ask, would you accept?" She responded, wondering what he would say.
"Well, I see a Jinchuuriki behind you..." Orochimaru started. ((Just to let you all know, a Jinchuuriki is just the japanese word for a demon container.)) Tenten glanced back at Naruto, then sighed.
"You mean the dying Jinchuuriki? Right now, not even Tsunade-sama could heal him. He's as good as dead." Tenten said bluntly, hearing Ino gasp.
"Listen to yourself, Tenten! Your making absolutely no sense! None at all!" Ino sobbed, stopping her treatment on Naruto. "He'll live! He will!" Ino kept on shaking her head.
"Kabuto. Your a skilled medic, are you not? Could you please go over to Naruto and tell Ino that there is no chance of him living?" Tenten asked, looking at the traitor. Kabuto looked at Orochimaru who nodded. After doing a quick examination, which Ino was watching carefully, he stood up.
"The kunoichi is right. The Kyuubi will never live again." Kabuto said, walking over to Orochimaru once more.
"Pity. He was the only thing I wanted, so, I decline the offer." Orochimaru smirked.
"So thats how its gonna be? Fine." Tenten took a small pill. "Hey, Ino. Take this." She threw Ino a small pill who took it.
"Ew, nasty! Whats it do?" Ino's nose was scrunched up as she cursed the bad-tasting pill.
"Restore your chakra. You should know that!" Tenten snapped, pulling out some scrolls.
"I guess we fight." Shino was taking some of his own chakra-restoring pills.
"And it begins..." Kabuto said, running towards the ANBU, kunai in hand. Tenten opened a single scroll, throwing various weapons at Kabuto who dodged them all, not seeing the invisible string attached. Tenten pulled them back, one by one, silently, while making it seem like she wasn't doing a thing as she evaded Kabuto's own attacks.
Ino and Shino ganged up on Orochimaru. It wasn't going that well, since Ino did her Mind Transfer jutsu and, instead of going into Orochimaru, she was inside Shino. Bad. After going back to her own body, she made sure not to use that again.
Kabuto noticed all the large weapons, not the small senbon that were entertwined with the string. After getting all of her weapons hurdling towards her, she thrusted her hands forward and looping them around Kabuto, who fell right into the trap. She pulled, encasing him within her needle cacoon. As expected, he took a kunai to the thread. She jumped back a couple feet as a light brightened the forest area for miles.
The cacoon exploded with a loud 'BOOM'! Tenten frantically looked around, since she saw no sign of Kabuto within the smoke. Turning to Ino and Shino, whose fight was also blinded with smoke, and saw no Orochimaru. They left two bodies, Neji's and Kiba's, since it seemed the jutsu was clearing up fast on them. Lee and Shikamaru were gone and no chakra signal could be sensed.
