summary: After Sasuke came back from Orochimaru, he found a note in his apartment. From her. It was always her. But, it wasn't what he expected. After 3 years, it still wasn't what he expected her to be. Black with red clouds.

This is the last filler of the story! The next two chapters have hard-core MEANING! Plus hints of SasuSaku...((cue squeals)) in those two chapters.

chapter 18

Oh Thats Great!

"Next time, I suppose, you should do better on your missions, Haruno." Itachi whispered, smirking.

"Shut up, Uchiha. Or must I shut you up myself?" Sakura snapped. She really wasn't in the mood to be criticized by Itachi.

"Hn" The Uchiha brothers never ceased to annoy her with their one-worded answers.

"We'll be there in an hour. Do you need to rest, Sakura, yeah?" Deidara asked, still looking straight ahead. He was also getting irritated by the Uchiha's manner.

"I'm fine" Sakura wasn't weak, she didn't need to rest.

"This is a last resort..." Tsunade sighed, feeling Shizune's uneasiness with the situation.

"Heheh...Tsunade-sama, don't rush into things. We don't need that..." She smiled, trying to talk Tsunade out of her descision.

"I have what you said...two years untill this was to be assigned!" Shizune cried, waving a notebook in the air.

"No, Shizune. It must be done." Tsunade leaned back in her leather chair. "Summon them." Shizune nodded as Tsunade wrote something on a scroll. Her eyes drifted to the lone ANBU mask, turned upsidedown, on the corner of her desk. She's Gone 'Well what the hell does that mean? They couldn't have...' Her head snapped up to the shinobi who just entered the room.

"Ah, I didn't expect you so soon. Sit and we will discuss your next mission." Tsunade smiled fakely. The shonobi nodded, guessing what was to come.

"Thats a stupid plan." Sakura glared at Itachi.

"Oh? Then what should the plan be, oh-mighty-Uchiha?" Sakura mocked, rolling her eyes.

"You two go and transform as some villagers while I just check out the village to gather some information." He said, giving Sakura a warning glance.

"Whatever. We'll report back here in two hours, yeah?" The three nodded. Itachi ran off into the small village while Sakura and Deidara posed as an elderly couple. ((LAWL! Just had to put that there...But can't you imagine them like that?! Well, I'm not talking about SakuxDei, just them transforming into old people and pretending to be married...what a sight!))

Sakura's thin, stringy gray hair was in a ponytail and her black eyes were dull. Her tanned skin had wrinkles of all sorts and she wore a dirty, pale pink shawl and a red shirt and a matching skirt that skimmed the ground, a mahagony cane was held in her right hand as she struggled to walk.

Deidara had a straw hat covering his, nearly bald, short grey hair and he had light brown, almost hazel, eyes. His skin was pale and had wrinkles and strong discoloration, and his fingers held a slight twitch. He wore a tattered black jacket with a red plaid button-up shirt underneath and black slacks.

They walked down the dirt road slowly, smiling at everyone they passed. It seemed as if the village knew nothing of the destructive shinobi village beyond its boarders, since they were friendly to all and were pretty gullable. After a couple minutes of walking about the center of the town, a fat, round, and short man stumbled towards them, grinning.

"Hello strangers! Welcome to the village!" He shook their hands.

"Why hello young man. I am Karui and this is my husband Yoisei." ((Karui- Light. Yoi- Good. Sei- Spirit.)) Sakura, or Karui, smiled, inwardly groaning at the cheerfulness of the village already.

"Karui, Yoisei. Beautiful names. I am the leader, if you will, of this village. I'm Kujira." Karui wanted to laugh so hard at the truthfulness of his name.((Kujira- Whale)) Luckily, he talked before she lost control. "So what brings you two to the village?" Kujira asked, waving at the passerbys.

"We're actually looking for a certain village thats near here." Yoisei could see how Kujira tensed abit. "I'm sure you've heard of it. It's relatively new and its a shinobi village." Now Kujira was shaking.

"I see. I think I know what you're talking about. Please come to my office so we could speak...privately on this." His tone was serious and a look of mild pain shone on his face. As he led the way, Karui and Yoisei stealthily nodded and smirked at eachother.

"Yeah, I've noticed it too. Everytime we'd ask him about that village, Kujira-san would freeze then rapidly change the subject!" A villager whispered to another. Itachi's back was pressed against the wall, avoiding being seen.

"It seems as if he knows something..." The other villager muttered. After that, they walked away. Itachi came from the shadows, Sharingan eyes scanning the perimeter. His trained ears picked up on another hidden conversation. After a couple more minutes of eavesdropping, he walked the streets.

'So, it seems as if there is a bond between the Tsuchikage and Otokage. And with what I've heard, the Tsuchikage holds power over the Otokage.' He smirked, perfectly blending in with the shadows.

"Oh, really?" Karui encouraged more information to be pulled out of the chubby man. So far, the only thing they needed to know was the identity of the two kages.

"I'm sorry Karui, Yoisei, that is all I know..." Kujira sighed, eyes downcast.

"Well, we appreciate your help, Kujira-san." Yoisei stood up, the sound of the chair muffled his 'yeah', noticing how two hours past by. Karui also stood up and after shaking hands again, the two exited his office.

"Hn" Itachi grunted, effortlessly catching the scroll thrown at him.

"It holds everything we learned from the head of the town, Kujira." Sakura said.

"I've heard of how he told nobody of the village." Itachi supplied, a bored look on his face.

"Well we're off, yeah." The two slowly made their way to the outskirts of the village, where they transformed back.

"We'll need to regain our disguses inside the village. One of us, or both, will surely be recognized if we don't." Sakura said as they were running towards Suna at high speeds.

"...hai" The four shinobi answered, standing infront of Tsunade.

"Good. You leave in an hour, meet up at the gates. As I told you before, it will be for a year. You know the destination and, if any complications, you know how to summon Pakkun to tell me. Or Gamakichi. Whichever." Tsunade unfolded her hands to hand them a finished scroll.

"Nara, Hyuuga, Uzumaki, Uchiha. You're dismissed."

"I've heard of the miracle of how the Kyuubi container still lives." Karui questioned, her hands folded on her lap. The blonde chuckled a bit, it held a sign of remorse, and her black eyes looked at Karui.

"The Kyuubi doesn't exist anymore. It heard that when the demon sacrifice themselves for their dying Jinchuurikis, the Jinchuuriki wakes up, fully healed and so does the Bijuu. But, this time, it wasn't the case. The Kyuubi is gone." She explained. Karui nodded.

"But how are you sure, dearie?" Her voice was calming.

"My brother, Gaara, is also a Jinchuuriki. He could no longer feel the presence of the Kyuubi and he had also heard of that legend." She whsipered.

"Well, thank you for your time, Temari-chan. It's much appreciated." She smiled and stood up, trembling since her old bones couldn't take much of the stress.

"Anytime, Karui-san." Temari shook her hand and opened the door for her as she slowly excited the door. The only noise heard on the linoleum floor was the clink of her cane hitting it.

"Seems like we completed our mission after all." Sakura smirked, handing Deidara a scroll containing on all she heard from Temari.

"Perfect, yeah." Deidara looked up to the sky, which was darkening, darkblue clouds hanging above them. They ran towards the direction of the base.

I sorry, I lied. It's not who I told you it was ((the Tsuchikage)) because I decided to change him. But, I wonder what you're reaction will be once the new one is revealed. P I know, Im mean. But i still love you. lol.

Holy crap this chapter was written so fast! Either I had aTON of ideas in my head already or I am just too eager to write the next two, and final, chapters... Probably both...
