Forever

SasuSaku

summary: After Sasuke came back from Orochimaru, he found a note in his apartment. From her. It was always her. But, it wasn't what he expected. After 3 years, it still wasn't what he expected her to be. Black with red clouds.

HOLY CRAP ITS THE FINAL CHAPTER!

Jashin-scythe-blossom

for their WONDERFUL reviews for last chapter! Secondly, this chapter is based off of one of my favorite songs...

"Forever" by Papa Roach

(ironic title, ne? hahaha!)

This chapter will contain some excerpts of the song and the chapter title also comes from the song!! Third, I have decided on the sequel's name! yay! THANK YOU Tip Of The Top Hat FOR THE IDEA YOU GAVE ME! Well, this is one half of the idea. the other half will be in the sequel, which is now called:

Revenge

But you REALLY want to know what would make my day? Seeing...FANART! woooo! Im working on my own right now. But don't get your hopes up too high since its only going to be in black-and-white(since I suck at coloring) and its not going to be anythng detailed and I'll try to make a background. But I won't promise you there will be one. I'll post it along with the first chapter of Revenge(well, once I write it) and I'll put the link on my profile. Also, if you artists make a fanart for mwah(which I bet no one will) it will go up on my profile as well!

(wooo! this is the longest chapter, thats why it took a couple weeks, but it SHOULD be worth it) D This chapter has almost EVERTHING in it! Fluff-ish moments, humor, violence, bad news, good news, etc. You all BETTER enjoy this because of how ridiculously long it took me to write.

ONWARDS TO THE CHAPTER!

chapter 20

One Last Kiss

"And what if I don't want to?" Sakura snapped, arms crossed.

"But you HAVE to go see obaa-chan!((grandmother)) If she finds out that you came-"

"Well Tsunade won't see me. Since there's no commotion, I won't be seen. And if you two plan on telling her I'll-"

"Shut up you two." Sasuke snapped, putting his arms between the two to break them apart.

"I don't gotta listen to you."

"Yeah, teme. You're not the boss of me!"

Deidara sighed, noticing that sunrise was in a couple of hours.

"Hey, Saku-chan. We'd better get going, yeah." Sakura nodded. Naruto's face fell.

"You're leaving already? WHY?" He pouted, tears in his big blue eyes.

"We just stopped for a drink. Our objective stands in a separate village." Sakura walked away, Deidara in tow.

"SAKURA-CHAN WAIT!" Naruto called, reaching out his hand. Then, Sakura and Deidara dissappeared in a small gust of wind. He blinked, confused. "Sakura-chan?" He fell to his knees in denial. "Sakura-chan!" He cried. Sasuke put his hand on his friend's shoulder, to attempt to comfort him.

"She'll be back, Naruto." He said, patting his back. Naruto kept shaking, crying. Suddenly, a small 'whoosh' was heard and Naruto opened his eyes, to see a mint green piece of paper laying infront of him, folded, and with a pink strand of string holding it together. They both froze. Naruto cautiously picked it up and, after carefully untying the string, he unfolded the parchment.

Cheer up, Naruto. I'm not gone forever and it's not our last encounter. But, it will be kept secret, kay?

-Sakura

Sasuke shuddered at the irony. He also couldn't shed the thought that, this time, he couldn't stop her. He stopped her ten years ago when she was making a bad mistake, her wish to come with him. He couldn't stop her this time, from walking out on Konoha. Another mistake for the books.

Can't get over you
Can't get through to you
It's been a helter skelter romance from the start
Take these memories that are haunting me
Of a paper man cut into shreds
By his own pair of scissors
He'll never forgive her
He'll never forgive her

"A room for two, please." An elderly feminine voice was strained. She was latched onto an arm, an old man, presumably her husband. Her shaky right hand clutched a cane and she slouched over slightly.

"Here ya go, Karui-san. Enjoy your stay!" The overly hyper counter girl of the run-down hotel smiled, handing them a room key with the numbers 108. The old couple nodded and slowly walked up the winding stairs to their room.

Once pushing the creaky door, they noticed how crappy it really was. It had a single twin bed, an old rocking chair, a broken table that was missing two legs opposite of each other, a locked bathroom, a light on the ceiling that constantly flickered on and off, a small, cracked mirror, and, the best part, it was already occupied with a dead, or unconcious, body. Yoisei sighed.

"We need to go get another room, then." He said, still trying to play up old man, just incase the body was merely a spy. They walked back to the counter and explained the sight.

"Well then we have no more rooms, sorry!" The girl smirled, again, head tilting to the side.

"If thats the case, I would like my money back, dear." Karui said, guessing the outcome already. 'And, ofcourse, I'm not in the mood to fight right now.' She thought with a non-noticable sigh.

"Well, uh, no-can-do Karui-san!" She twitched slightly.

"And why not? My husband worked hard on the farm for this money and you try to scam it out of us?" Karui snapped, taking the girl aback. The girl's aura abruptly changed.

"You old bags think you can force it outta me? Well I got a few words for you. I'm actually a shinobi, and so's my family. If you value your withering lives, I'd suggest you leave now." She snarled, five shadows appearing behind her. Her family. Karui and Yoisei looked at each other, nodding. The transformation jutsu went away, revealing Sakura and Deidara with their Akatsuki robes.

"You're stupid, you know that? Everyone isn't as they seem, yeah?" Deidara chuckled at their surprised and frightened expressions.

"T-T-The A-Akatsuki?" A shadow behind the counter shook in fear. The girl's mother.

"Haruno Sakura is an Akatsuki? Wait untill the Hokage hears of this. She'll have a field day and maybe spare your lives, slim chance though." The father sneered.

"We would've let you live but, now that you found out, you all must die." Sakura sighed, with a malicious look upon her face. Six kunai's gleamed in the moonlight as they were thrown and all hit their marks. Six forms dropped down dead behind the counter.

"We'll take our business elsewhere, ne, Karui, yeah?" Yoisei snikered, putting the straw hat back on.

"Correct, dear. Somewhere more pleasant and welcoming. Also somewhere that doesn't have dead bodies and the smell of blood." Karui agreed, walking next to Yoisei. The only noise they made was the clinking of her cane on the small pebbles in the dirt.

--

"And why are you late?" Tsunade asked, hands folded atop her desk. Before her was the younger Uchiha and the Hokage-in-Training.

"The dobe here demanded that we stop by the bar AND Ichiraku on our way here." Sasuke muttered emotionlessly.

"I see." Tsunade took a swing of her sake. "And I'm assuming you're wondering why I called you both her at 3 am?" The two nodded. "Well, we had two shinobi from Iwa((the Village Hidden in Stone)) here. They were staying in a hotel run by the Hatoku clan. We have heard of strange disturbances from the residents of screaming and some suspect that they died but are too afraid to question the clan. The clan are very...strange. If it's true, Iwa may think we had purposly murder the well-known shinobi and start war. We can't let that happen. I need you two to explore the hotel. Now go!" They vanished.

--

Karui and Yoisei were wandering around the village to find a suitable hotel. That is, untill two seriously familiar shinobi stopped them.

"Excuse us but have you heard anything of the Hatoku Hotel? Like any rumors of deaths tonight?" The taller asked. His black hair styled like the ass of a chicken and he had black eyes.

"I'm sorry, dearie, but I haven't heard of anything of that sort. Say, can you give this old woman help with something?" Karui asked sweetly but inwardly, Sakura gagged at the thought, and action, of asking Sasuke for help.

"Uh sure" He bluntly replied.

"Do any of you gentleman know of any good hotels?" She held a somewhat pleading and innocent look in her eyes.

"Of course lady! There's the Kaguto and the super fancy Ginkuya and a bunch of others that I don't remember the names!" Naruto smiled widely.

"Why thank you. Could you tell us which direction the Ginkuya is in?" Karui knew that fancy hotels had room service. And room service included drinks. Alchohaulic drinks.

"This way direction!" Naruto happily pointed to their left. Yoisei nodded.

"We thank you for your kindness, young shinobi." He said, helping Karui to the direction of the Ginkuya Hotel.

--

"Ugh, finally!" Sakura mumbled, falling down on the fluffy, king-sized bed of the suite. The decorations were golden and intricate. Deidara chuckled lightly and sat on the couch, that pulled out to be his bed since Sakura would take the real bed. He just was nice like that.

"I'm going to take a shower. The maid will come in a couple minutes with your drinks so I'd suggest you re-transform, yeah." Deidara grabbed a hotel towel, which held a fancy G in the corner, sleeping pants, and some other things before heading in the bathroom. Sakura changed to Karui and laid motionlessly on the bed, in mock sleep, untill a knock came at the door.

"I have your drinks!" A feminine voice called out.

"Come in." Karui answered, the highest possible volume she could manage, and sat up straight. The maid came in, various drinks on a platter.

"I'll set these down right here, okay?" She put the drinks on the table next to Karui, smiled, locked the door once more, and walked out. Once Karui sensed she was gone, she took a small vile from inside her cane, which was convieniently placed next to her. She poured the clear liquid inside all her drinks. After waiting a couple seconds, she relaxed when the drinks didn't change color.

"They wouldn't try to poison you, this hotel seems too well known for them to ruin their reputation with attempting to poison an old woman, yeah." Deidara walked out of the bathroom, vigorously drying his hair with the towel and only wearing black pants.

"I wouldn't put it past them, though." Karui replied, slowly transforming back into Sakura. She then grabbed the weakest drink and worked her way up to the strongest. She grunted, falling backwards onto the mounds of pillows behind her. "I need a shower." She sat up slowly, feeling really tired and, after grabbing the necessities, she made her way into the bathroom. To loosen up the tense atmosphere, Deidara decided to go knock on the door.

"Hey, Saku-chan!" She grunted in response, back pressed against the door. "Do you want some company, yeah?" She twitched. He asked the same thing he asked almost all the times she'd gone in the shower. Suddenly, the door flew open and Sakura's fist connected with his face. As she saw the blood, she smirked in satisfaction and slammed the door shut.

--

As night passed to day, Konoha's citizens buzzed about their daily activities. The time flew by as the sun was on the horizon, falling into the sky.

"Thank you, sir, for your time." Karui smiled, waving a shaky hand. When the man left, she sighed and leaned against a tree.

"Any luck, Saku-chan?" Yoisei asked, walking on the dirt road. After looking around, and sensing no more chakra signatures, his older form dissappeared, revealing his true self once more.

"Not at all. Everybody in Konoha seems out of the loop." Karui also went back to her normal form. "We should head back to the hotel."

"I'll be there in a couple hours. I only have a few leads that I intend to follow, yeah." With that, he vanished. Sakura shrugged, heading back to Ginkuya.

Because days come and go

--

The club doors creaked opened, revealing the newly-transformed Deidara. But he wasn't Yoisei. Instead, his hair was a deep green that covered half his face and went to his chin. His eyes were that of a dark turquoise, like the ocean depths. He wore a tight white tanktop, that greatly showed off his muscles, and black slacks. All in all, he was pretty hot. He racked his memory for the leads the woman gave him.

--

"I've heard of him. He's a fairly handsome man, so some kunoichi are always hanging on his arm." The woman, in her early thirties, placed her index finger on her chin in thought.

"So I'm assuming he's a shinobi?" The woman nodded. "Ah, the youngster has followed that path after all..." Yoisei faked a innocent smile.

"He's never out on missions, though he's a Jonin. I know that he's always hanging out at the night club, SHIGEKI." ((Shigeki- motivation)) Yoisei nodded.

"Can you tell me anything about his appearance? I'm afraid that my old memory is going and, since I barely got to see him, his looks slipped my mind. Twenty years, in my age, can do that to you." 'Damn, I even sound convincing as an old man to myself, yeah!' Yoisei thought.

"Well, I have a picture of his class of Jonin, since he was in my class, that you may have. You never know, you may forget by the time you see him. Besides, I have tons of other ones!" She reassured, handing him a pocket-sized photograph. After performing a quick jutsu, her finger glowed and she touched a man in the photo and, even after she took her hand away, the glow remained. "Thats him. The glow is so you don't forget which one he is, since there was alot of ninja moving up in rank at that exam." She smiled.

"Thank you for all your help, dear." Yoisei bowed slightly, taking a long look at the picture and smiled, placing it in his pocket.

"Oh, its no problem, sir!" With that, she bounded off down the road.

--

Sakura rested her throbbing head against the soft pillow. She thought of the miniscule amount of information she recieved.

--

"Can you tell me anything of this man's background...?" Karui smirked. The man who she was talking to was drinking coffee and, being the medical genious she is, spiked his coffee with something tasteless and invisible. The mixture made him quite talkative and made sure that each question was answered, some sort of truth-potion, if you will. Comes in handy during interrogations.

"He orginates from Mist. He was some big-shot there. Thats all I know!" He drawled on, drawing on all his knowledge. He then walked away, rather clumsily.

"Suspicions confirmed. The Koritaka hails from Mist. A big-shot, aye? I'll have to research this. Where's that shark alchohaulic when you need him?" She muttered to herself, knowing no one was watching.

--

"What's with the wait, Otokage-sama?!" Orochimaru spat out. The figure sighed, tapping their hand on the throne's arm.

"Patience, Orochimaru, patience is needed. If you can't live up to that, you will be banned from the village, permanently. The Tsuchikage was generous enough to let you stay but, since he isn't stuck with you all the time, he doesn't know how utterly annoying you can be, and I don't like annoyances. Annoyances are a weakness. A weakness that must be severed from all the strengths." The Otokage smirked. Orochimaru muttered something under his breath. "And to answer your question, the Tsuchikage have decided that we need to lure Konoha into a false sense of security. Unlike you, Orochimaru, we won't attack when they're forces are up solely for your petty revenge." 'Since you have no true reason for revenge.' "You're dismissed. Come back to me with your preachings of hatred against me or the Tsuchikage and your head will be dismissed from your shoulders." The Otokage shooed off Orochimaru like a bug, watching in glee as he stomped off and slammed the big doors behind him.

--

"You sent for me, Sakura?" Kisame was leaning on the door inside the hotel room. She nodded, shocked that Zetsu listened and talked to Kisame.

"Yes, I have some information on the Koritaka and his origins from Mist. I've also heard he was a big-shot and I need your intelligence on this kind of thing. Do you have any guesses?" She wouldn't be surprised if he simply laughed in her face and walked away.

"Well, I have a few people in mind. Shinobi and citizen. I think you'll have to write this down." He chuckled abit and pulled out an empty scroll. He knew that if she wished to speak with him during a mission, it had to do with Mist and/or information, and this situation was just that.

--

"Hm, so he's the Koritaka?" Yarimaru((Yari- spear. Maru- common ending for a male's name.)), A.K.A. Deidara, scrunched his nose. He glared at the man sitting in the back of the room. He was pulling a Jiraiya, with his arms around a couple of girls in skimpy outfits while others came and went infront of him with drinks of all sorts. Yarimaru snorted. This guy was a jinchuuriki? 'Hm, I can't feel a chakra surge similar to other jinchuurikis...' Realization hit him. He made his way to the door, with the protest of random drunk females that threw themselves at him, and bounded down the darkened streets of Konoha, on the road to the Ginkuya.

--

"Now this is a problem..." Tsunade grumbled, rubbing her temples. Naruto and Sasuke stood before her and Shizune was at her right.

"Well, atleast only one Iwa shinobi was murdered, right?" Shizune nervously laughed, trying to lighten the mood. Tsunade casted a glare to her right, startling Shizune.

"We need to find his killer. Shizune! What Jounin are available from missions?"

"Well, we are on a shortage right now. So, we only have Hyuuga Hinata, Yamato, Inuzuka Kiba, Tenten, and Hatake Kakashi." Shizune gulped, only imagining a horrible mission the shinobi will be sent on.

"Alright. The first four will protect the remaining shinobi. Naruto, Sasuke, you will find the murderer, or murders. Shizune, you will head to Iwa, along with Kakashi, to inform the Tsuchikage of this tradegy and assure him this wasn't planned. Tell him about the shinobi protecting him and that whoever did this will be publically excecuted." Tsunade folded her hands on her desk. "Shizune, you are dismissed. Go tell them about their specific missions and to meet up here in exactly an hour." Shizune nodded, also in relief the mission wasn't dangerous, leaving.

"Naruto, Sasuke. The six owners of the Hatoku Hotel have been murdered. I want you to also find out their killers." They nodded, disappearing. Tsunade sighed, opening a secret drawer. She smiled lightly, seeing bottles of full sake bottles.

"Ah, atleast you don't annoy me..." She downed a bottle and spit it out. "Grr, Shizune switched it with water... CURSE YOU SHIZUNE!" She roared, throwing the water-filled sake bottles at the walls in her rage.

--

"Let's narrow them down now, shall we?" Sakura suggested, gesturing to the two hundred names on the paper. Kisame nodded, grabbing another drink from the table. Suddenly, the chestnut door burst open to reveal a triumphant Deidara.

"Heh, I saw the Koritaka, but I don't know his name. I got a picture, yeah." He held the flimsy piece in the air.

"Great! This will narrow down this list!" Kisame chuckled, showing Deidara the list. Deidara put the photo infront of Kisame, who looked at it.

"Hm, he looks familiar..." Sakura mumbled, studing the man's face. Then, it clicked. Her eyes went wide, her body stiffened in shock. "But whats his name?!" She snapped to no one in particular, finally snatching the list in realization and vigorously scratching off un-needed names. After she was done, she smirked and slammed the notebook down. Kisame flipped through the various pages untill he found the last page. The only page with one name not scratched off. He took the photo and compared it.

"Congrats, Haruno. You've found the Koritaka." He leaned back in his chair. "I'll tell Leader of this." He vanished, leaving exstatic Akatsuki members, though they didn't show it.

"Three years have passed and we've been preparing for the Koritaka. Now, as we're ready, he comes into light. We can hunt him tomorrow, yeah?" Deidara grinned, leaning against the wall. Sakura slightly smiled.

"Hai. The plan will finally be able to be set in motion." A bit of enthusiasum showed in her voice, surprising the clay master. "But we must rest up. G'night, Dei." Sakura returned to her bed. Deidara's face was still contorted with shock. And the smile plastered on her face didn't help much.

--

"So, it was the Hatoku clan all along. I don't think we need to find their killers now." Sasuke snarled, looking among the possesions of the fallen Hatoku members. There were obvious signs of hatred towards Iwa and their plans for the shinobi.

"We gotta tell this to obaa-chan!" Naruto cringed, going through various works of the shinobi and their detailed murder scenes.

"Hn"

--

"But obaa-chan..." Naruto whined.

"No, Naruto. You must find the Hatoku killers, even if they killed the Iwa shinobi. It's the law." Tsunade snapped, glaring at the blonde annoyance infront of her.

"HOKAGE-SAMA!" A Jonin burst through the doors, breathing heavily.

"What now, Genma?" Tsunade sighed.

"Akatsuki have been spotted...in the village...Ginkuya Hotel...one left...two are staying in a room..." He panted, leaning against the door frame. Tsunade's gaze turned hard.

"Thank you, Genma." Genma nodded, stumbling out the door. "Now, Naruto, Sasuke. Since you refuse to do your other mission, you'll get another one. At 2 am, you will search the Ginkuya Hotel. Give the owner this scroll, so he knows not to interfere. You have three hours to prepare. DISMISSED!" She shooed them. Once they left, scroll in hand, she exhaustedly crashed onto her desk, falling into a deep sleep, muttering the word "sake" every so often.

--

"Hey, teme..." Naruto started. Three hours had already passed and they were on their way to the hotel.

"Hn"

"Do you think its Sakura-chan and Deidara?" Sasuke stopped.

"Hn"

"Teme! Speak a sentence for once!"

"Shut up, dobe. People are trying to sleep."

"Hmph!" Naruto crossed his arms over his chest.

--

The sun was just beginning to shine its warm rays upon the small village. The once dark fields sprang to life, becoming a luscious green. Lights flickered on in the houses and, after a couple of minutes, the workers scampered out of their houses and on their way to the fields. The atmosphere unnoticably shifted as two cloaked figures crept into the outskirts of the village. The innocent families helped eachother with their daily routines. A small boy with spiked rust colored hair skipped onto his family's farm. He beamed as his sensei walked up to him, smiling at the familiar faces of the boy's relatives.

"Ohayo((good morning)), Ritaomi-san! Ohayo, Miyuko-san! Ohayo, Keijo!" The sensei waved. The boy, Keijo, was jumping up, excitement evident in his innocent eyes, the color as green as the blades of grass under his feet.

"Ohayo, Fakumi-sensei!" Keijo greeted his sensei. "Hey, hey, sensei! Can we train today, please? I want to become strong!" Keijo smiled, slightly pleading. Fakumi nodded, amused at the child's anticipation. Fakumi had brown spiked hair with bangs covering his right eye and his eyes were a dark blue that looked like the stormy seas at night.

"Just be careful with him, Fakumi-san. I don't want to be the one he's running to when he's battered, bruised, and complaining." The woman, Keijo's okaa-san((mother)), Ritaomi chuckled. Her ruby hair stopped abit past her shoulders and her bangs completely covered her deep chocolate eyes, that were only faintly visible when she turned or moved.

"I'm trusting you to make a great fighter out of him, Fakumi-san." Keijo's otou-san((father)), Miyuko, slightly glanced to his left where Fakumi, Ritaomi, and Keijo stood, then returned back to his work. His short, slick black hair was tied up in a low ponytail and his eyes were such a light green that it could be mistaken for white. Fakumi nodded.

"Where's aniki, okaa-san?" Keijo hastily looked around the fields for his aniki.

"He's training with his sensei, Keijo." Ritaomi replied, patting his head.

"Oh..." But his soft-spoken voice was drowned out by an explosion on the border of the town. Every head snapped towards the source, seeing two cloaked figures carelessly step out of the blinding smoke cloud. Their black cloaks had red clouds. Fakumi froze, as did other senseis and shinobi.

"Akastuki!" Miyuko screeched for all ears to hear, installing fear in those who knew of them. The adult's trembling imidiately sent unknown shivers up the children's spines. Keijo tugged on Ritaomi's shirt.

"Okaa-san, what's Akatsuki?" He wondered, not understanding the dire situation.

"The Akatsuki are an organization that target the demon containers in their quest for control of the world. Messing with them, or facing them, is being condemned to death. They're that strong." Ritaomi whispered, tearing up. She hid Keijo behind her. "Keijo. Go to the safe house. Now!" She pushed him off in the correct direction, where other children ran, as the adults busied themselves with the task of defending the village against the two. Keijo stopped and hid elsewhere, still wanting to see his sensei, okaa-san, otou-san, the Akatsuki, and the other shinobi in action.

The passion put into the handsigns could not even be matched by the heartwrenching wails of the technique name as the shinobi charged forth, utterly determined. But, the determination dwindled quickly as the shinobi dropped like flies, dozens at a time. After a single minute after the onslaugh, more than half the village was destroyed, along with three fourths of the shinobi population. The others were severly injured, or healing injuries.

"What do you want, Akatsuki?!" A civilian cried out, holding his dead wife's body.

"The death of everyone in this pathetic place." The shorter, and more normal looking, replied. His voice was completely void of emotion, they couldn't tell that a human spoke it. Yet, the Akatsuki were never associated with humans. Only demons. Then, the civilian found that blood was clogging up his lungs. He was terrified, even after his last breath. The Akatsuki never touched him. Shinobi fought hopelessly against them and, as they were ready to give up, another explosion was heard.

"I don't remember Leader appointing you this mission, yeah." A voice talked to the shark-like Akatsuki member as he ploughed through the civilian houses, Samehada in hand, and a wicked smirk on his face.

"We're here to find and kill a certain shinobi but they attacked us first so we fought back." The man retorted, quite amused. As the new smoke subsided, a red-headed man stood atop the hill and a blonde was racing against the blue skinned man. The two newcommers were also Akatsuki.

Keijo helplessly whipped his head around to and from the different battles. Suddenly, his aniki took a step beside him.

"Aniki" Keijo breathed out, looking at his aniki with wonder. He had various cuts on his face and body, but his movements never faultered.

"Do what okaa-san said, Keijo. Go to the hiding place imidiately." Keijo nodded, successfully running to the safe house this time. He occassionally turned back as he made his journey, only to see his aniki chase after the red-head into the forest, Fakumi hot on his heels. While pacing around the cramped, underground building, he grew tired and passed out on the hard ground.

When he awoke, he was the last in the safe house. He scampered to the surface, only to be met with the sight of death and the scent of blood. Low-leveled medics rushed around the fields, healing what they could. Keijo spotted Fakumi slouched over, head in hands.

"Fakumi-sensei!" Keijo yelled, running towards him. To Fakumi, it was like a kunai was lodged into his chest, again.

"Keijo...I am so sorry" He whispered, trembling.

"Why are you sorry, Fakumi-sensei?" He looked around. "Hey, Fakumi-sensei. Where's okaa-san, otou-san, and aniki?" He wondered. Fakumi sighed.

"I'm so sorry, Keijo. They...they were killed. Killed by the Akatsuki. But, only three Akatsuki made it out alive. Your aniki killed off the red-head." Fakumi cautiously glanced up at Keijo, who was breaking down. It was hard for Fakumi, too. He'd known Miyuko and Ritaomi for a very long time and just the thought of loosing them was almost...unbearable. He knew what actually happened to his aniki. He never died...

Keijo looked upon the rotting wasteland that was once his peaceful, beautiful home. Unsurpassed hatred flowed through his veins. A deep growl, the tone impossible for someone his age to create, emerged from the back of his throat.

"The Akatsuki, they will pay!" A surge of chakra burst throughout his body, surprising Fakumi. Inspecting the chakra, it was created out of pure anger. So, he could sense it. "Killing everyone and aniki joins them...no. NO!" He sobbed, the chakra fading as he collapsed once more.

--

And she could still remember when his dead body was being dragged out of the interrogation room. Poor kid. She had already sensed the intruding chakra presence in the room, but continued her dream of Keijo's past.

"We have to take you this time, Sakura..." Naruto's voice broke through the thick silence. Sakura looked towards the couch, which was empty. After turning a centimeter, there was a note beside her pillow. Picking it up, it read:

Out to find the Koritaka's residence. Stay inside.

-Deidara

It held the scent of clay and was clearly his handwriting.

"Let's make it seem as if I put up a fight..." Sakura took a kunai and slashed Naruto and Sasuke abit, and herself a few times. Sakura then wrote her own note to Deidara.

Captured by ninja(Naruto and Sasuke). Be back by night.

Sakura

Sasuke had to knock out Sakura and carefully tossed her over his shoulder.

--

"Only one was in the room and, we had our own surprise." Naruto sniffed, as Sasuke showed Tsunade their load. She almost had a heart attack.

"SAKURA?!" She flung herself over the desk and to the just regaining concious Sakura. Her shoulders sagged deeply as she embraced the Akatsuki member, who hugged back.

"Ohayo, Tsunade." Sakura simply stated, patting Tsunade's back. After a couple of minutes, Tsunade let go and returned to her chair.

"What happened, Sakura?" She sighed, drumming her fingers on her desk. Naruto was abit frightened. 'Mood swings, much?' He nervously thought, taking cautionary steps backwards.

"I've changed, Tsunade. Thats that. What else can I say?" This infuriated the Hokage.

"HARUNO SAKURA! YOU ARE A SHINOBI OF THIS VILLAGE! AND YOU WILL STAY A SHINOBI OF KONOHA! DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?!" Sakura impatiently sighed.

"Do you not understand of what I've done? How many people I've killed? Besides, I've been gone for years and now you're trying to welcome me back? I'm bound to the Akatsuki, like it or not. And I willingly joined and I've gotten stronger, so I won't come back to Konoha!" Sakura snapped, glaring at her former teacher. "And now, since I don't recall doing anything bad here, I will leave peacefully." She then turned and walked out the door. Sasuke sighed, running after her.

"Sakura!" He called out, roughly grabbing her shoulder to spin her around. It seemed that he battled his emotions for a couple minutes until Sakura broke the silence.

"What do you want, Sasuke?" She spoke in a softer tone, refusing to look into his eyes. 'Strange...' His thoughts kept fighting one another as time seemed to stand still.

Suddenly, in what seemed like a blurr, he leaned down swiftly to capture her lips with his own. Her world froze, she stayed unmoved. After what seemed like an eternity, he pulled away, both hands on her shoulders.

Because days come and go

But my feelings for you are forever

"I've been meaning to do that for years now..." He trailed off. She slowly shook her head in denial, her eyes half-closed.

"I...I have to go back now..." She trembled. And nothing made the Akatsuki member Haruno Sakura tremble. She scurried out of the Hokage tower, unseen by anyone because of the time and since the was fast, back to the hotel.

One last kiss
Before I go
Dry your tears
It is time to let you go
