“Everyone says she’s beautiful,” Petunia insisted stubbornly, “with her green eyes—”

“Yours are the same shape.”

“…her pretty face—”

“Now you're just being silly, Pet."

“…and all that thick, red, gorgeous hair!” Petunia finished, tugging at a lock of her own pale, fine hair as she spoke.

“She’s bushy-headed. And that red, ugh!” Vernon smirked, “Don’t you know that gentlemen prefer blondes, my dear?”

“You’re no gentleman,” Petunia teased.

“No, definitely not,” Vernon agreed.
