It was karma. It had to be. There was really no other reason for the Kamis to curse her with, not one, but two blond best friends. She must have been truly wicked in a past life.

"It's a broken toe, Ino."

"I know that."

"You brought me out here for a broken toe."

"I'm no good with bones. I thought you could heal it."

"Hurry, Sakura-chan! It hurts!"

"Naruto, I'm not healing your broken toe."

"Why not?"

"Firstly, you're a ninja; you should be able to stand the pain. Secondly, you'll have it healed by tomorrow anyway, and even if you didn't, I wouldn't waste my chakra on it when there are people who need me more.

"I'll see you two later. Have fun sparing."
