His hatred towards them grows up when they got married and had a son, Kuran Kaname. He is determined to destroy them and fulfill his wish. A tragic story.

The story below is not yet told in the manga and probably the story plot is not like that in the future, thus the story plot belong to me. However, the names (Kuran Kaname, Senri Shiki, Seiren, Ichijou Takuma, Hanabusa Aidou, and Ichijou Asato) all belong to Hino-sensei. Since the story is the sequel of Essence of Kiss, and contains older characters in which we don’t even know what their names are, I made themselves some names. The parents of the characters above, excluding Ichiou, are all belong to me and I will change it once I got their official names. Don’t bite me!

-Vampire Academy – Introduction -

The vampire students, all of them, studied at the only academy existed, the Vampire Academy. Situated in Japan, they don’t mind the location at all since they were Japanese, and also vampires. Most of the students were older teenagers since they can take care of themselves well. As for vampire children, they were told to stay at home and study there with their tutors until they were old enough to attend the academy. The academy usually attended by children of the normal class vampires, and noble vampires, but the smallest number of vampires that attended the academy was the Purebloods. The Purebloods, they were the smallest one in count. They were not many unlike the rest of the normal class and noble class vampires. Purebloods, were vampires with not a little bit of the human blood in them, they only have vampire blood and was considered as a very special ability.

The Purebloods were not many and thus, they were respected and protected by the Council of Ancients, who was in charge of the management of the vampires, ever since the royal family stepped down from the throne and gave the powers to the Council of Ancients. However, from all the purebloods, the Kuran clan was considered at the most powerful family as they were once the royal family.

- Vampire Academy – School Compound -

Kiku Kimiko walked towards the main building of the academy. She stared at it but turned around as the wind shifted in and flew her beautiful dark brown hair. ‘Ah!’ said Kimiko as she tried to release herself from her hairs. After finishing with her hair trouble, she noticed a figure of someone. She knew exactly the person with his deep and strong aura. She lifted her hand and waved at him. ‘Kazumi-sama!’ called her as she ran to him.

Kuran Kazumi, heir of the Kuran clan, saw the beautiful Kimiko ran towards him. He opened his arms and accepted her hug. He kissed her right cheek and greeted her good morning. She answered him back while touching his wide chest. ‘You are late today, Kazumi-sama’ said her as she went closer to him. He kissed her cheeks again at the same position, but at the same time he kissed it almost near to her soft lips. Kimiko blushed when she was almost seduced so easily like that. ‘Oh, Kazumi-’ said her as she tried to resist him but he kept sticking to her and finally he got his prize, her beautiful, soft and moist lips. ‘Mmm’ said him as he hugged her, made her dropped her book and kissed her like mad!

Kimiko quickly realized that both of them were in the middle of the school compound, and Kazumi kissing her here, this would surely be scandalous!! She pushed him away and said, ‘Kazumi, please! We shouldn’t be doing it here! It’s embarrassing!’. She blushed madly and her uniform seems to be ruined for a bit especially on the collar part and the arms part. ‘Actually, that’s the least of what I can do, Kimiko’ smirked him. Kimiko suddenly shuddered. She could felt a strong aura of lust in Kazumi’s mind. ‘Can you feel what I want, Kimiko?‘ asked Kazumi as he held her hand and put it on his hard. ‘I want you, and I touched this side of yours, and I want it-’. He touched her neck and smelled the scent of blood. ‘Certainly, beautiful smell of blood’ said him.

Kimiko puzzled, there were no blood on her. How could Kazumi possibly smell her blood. She asked him how, but he went lower to her neck, sniffed it, and licked it, a sharp pain, and finally, the biting. Ah, this is excitement! Even on the middle of the school compound, getting bite like this was much better than never. Kimiko could felt dizziness and a lot of ecstasy as she blushed and almost fell to the ground. ‘Ooh!’ cried her as Kazumi held her and both of them lowered to the ground to balance themselves as Kazumi continued biting Kimiko.

She couldn’t take it. No more, oh please, no more, Kazumi!! No, no! It’s my limit! No!! Ah, ah, ah! Kazumi, stop it! Ahh! Kimiko felt to the ground, panting hard and suddenly lost herself in the dim light. She fainted! My, what had Kazumi did to her?! Kazumi hurriedly carried her to his private room.

As he on his way there, he encountered Kenren. ‘Kazumi-sama, may I know what ever happen to Kimiko-sama?’ asked Kenren. Kazumi shook his head and told him not to worry as Kimiko only fainted. He bid farewell and gave the books that Kimiko brought to Kenren. ‘Put it on the table and make a note stating it’s Kimiko’s’ said him. Kenren nodded, took the books and went off to the classroom. However, before he forgotten, he asked when Kazumi will be back to class, and Kazumi answered that he will be back in an hour or more, depending on Kimiko’s own condition. He then turned around and went to his room.

- Vampire Academy – Kuran Kazumi’s Special Room -

Kimiko slowly opened her eyes, as she woke up on Kazumi’s bed. She blinked and looks around as she rose to see where she was now. ‘Kazumi?’ called her. She realized that no one was there, except for a mug of hot tea. She smelled it and praised it for the nice smell. ‘Nice smell-’ said her. ‘Right, it is nice. You waken up, Kimiko. I am so glad’ said Kazumi as he appeared from the other room. Kimiko made a light smile as Kazumi went towards her and sat next to her. He kissed her lightly and asked if she was alright. He also apologized for being a bit of a jerk earlier before, but Kimiko forgive him and hugged him back.

Kazumi helped Kimiko to get out from bed, slowly. He put her on the chair and offered her the tea. She thanked him and took a sip. ’Tasty as its smell’ praised her. She knew it was Kazumi who made the tea; he doesn’t even have to say it. Their love were so strong, no one can interfere. She was already in love with her dear fiancé, Kuran Kazumi-sama.

‘Umm, are we ever going back to class, Kazumi-sama?’ asked Kimiko as she smiled. Kazumi took her hand and whispered, ‘We are indeed going back. I told Kenren we will be there in two hours’ said him. She smiled and kissed his large hand. ‘Kenren, eh? Do you tell him everything I told you?’ asked her. He shook his head and told her that Kenren was the person he could depend on. ‘His family had always been loyal to the Kurans. He will treat you the same as I do, since you yourself would be a Kuran’. He went to her chest and kissed it. She blushed madly and hugged his head.

- Vampire Academy – Classroom -

Kenren wondered how long Kazumi and Kimiko would be absent. He already told the teacher that they would be late since Kimiko was unconscious. The teacher stared at him and asked him, ‘Kenren-san, you said that Kuran-sama and Kiku-sama would be here in two hours. Well, where are they now?’. Kenren shook his head and said, ‘I am sorry, sensei. But as far as I know, Kuran-sama would say that he would return in an hour on more depending on Kiku-sama’s condition herself’. The teacher shook her head in disappointment. ‘They are both missing classes!!’ cried her.

((SOUND OF DOOR OPENING))

The door was opened, and it turned out to be Kazumi and Kimiko. The teacher saw them and blushed since she had just whining about them. ‘Ack! Kuran-sama; Kiku-sama!’ said her as she smiled terribly. ‘You are both back’. Kazumi smiled and bowed down. ‘Yes, Kimiko is now feeling better. We are sorry if we took so long’. The teacher blushed and told him it was not a big deal for her. Kenren chuckled and the teacher noticed him, thus resulting him on getting hit with a book. ‘Oww’ cried Kenren short.

Kimiko saw them and laughed. Kenren noticed her and laughed as well. The teacher shrugged and told Kazumi and Kimiko to take their seats. Kimiko walked past her classmates and went to a table next to Kazumi’s table. She sat there and waved at Kenren. Both of them were some sorts of best friends, although they were just connected through Kazumi. Kazumi walked manly and went to the table between Kimiko’s table and Kenren’s table. He wished the class to have a wonderful time that day. They agreed and started praying, Kimiko and Kenren did as well.

‘May God make sure that everything will go smoothly. Please help me protect Kuran Kazumi-sama, Kiku Kimiko-sama as well as their heir in the future’ prayed Kenren.

The class continued after the praying session.

- Vampire Academy – Cafeteria A to Dining Room ‘Purebloods and Related’-

He walked slower than the usual. Usually, he would walk normally like others. He was bored indeed. The other female students saw him and quickly bowed down to him. ‘Good morning, Senri Ryou-sama’ greeted them. ‘Good morning, ladies’ greeted the brown-chestnut pureblood vampire, Senri Ryou. He gave a very nice smile and waved at them before going towards the Cafeteria A.

In the Vampire Academy, there were three cafeterias. The reasons for three cafeterias were due to the number of vampires attending the academy. The school management decided to renovate the main cafeteria, now known as Cafeteria A, but their plan were halted due to the orders of the current head of Kuran clan, Kuran Heise. He told them, rather than renovating the cafeteria, it was still better to create more new cafeterias. This option enabled the students to get their food easily and faster, not to mention the number of students that queue up for their food.

For a pureblood vampire, he could easily get the food he wanted. Fresh, in the right amount, and of course, suit the person’s taste. ‘Senri-sama, welcome! What would you want for your lunch?’ asked the cafeteria operator of Cafeteria A. He was in his mid-forties and especially talented in the art of cooking. Ryou looked at the menu and asked for a chocolate pudding, he also told them to prepare him some ice latte and of course, his favourite food of all, the black pepper sauce and meat. ‘Right away, Senri-sama! Do take your seat’ said the operator as he went back to the kitchen and ordered his workers to prepare the food.

Ryou went to the Purebloods and Related Dining Room. He looked at the sign board and sighed. Purebloods and Related? What the hell it is? He went inside the dining room and noticed some of the purebloods were already in there, enjoying their lunch. The dining room, is located in a closed room, in which the Nobles and Normal vampire students would not be given access to be here. However, since there was the ‘Related’ word on the sign board, which also meant that vampires who were not purebloods can also joins in. Ryou, he practically didn’t mind with the order since the dining room itself was so empty.

- Vampire Academy – Dining Room ‘Purebloods and Related’ -

((SOUND OF LAUGHTER))

Ryou noticed the voice of someone’s laughing. He turned around and smiled. It was the most beautiful vampire in the academy. Her long and wavy dark brown hair made his heart melt with love. He loved her, he truly loved her more than anything, even more that his own fiancée. It was Kiku Kimiko, a pureblood vampire with an outstanding beauty in her. Almost all male vampires fell in love with her, including Ryou himself. ‘Beautiful--’ murmured him silently as he filled himself with Kimiko’s smile.

‘Haha! Oh yes indeed, that scene was so funny! I can’t hold it laughed all the way!’ said Kimiko while chatting with her friends. ‘See, even the princess herself laugh!’ said one of the girls, Aya. The other girls, Shina and Kyoko laughed all the way as the four of them chatted. They were chatting about a scene of a puppet show. Kimiko loved the show so much that Kazumi always brought her there to watch.

Ryou looked at her again. Her beautiful eyes, her soft hair, and her moist lips, all tempted him. He loved her, and he had begun to love her ever since they first met at a party. At that time, she wore a pale yellow dress and had a long brown hair. She came with her parents, along with her small puppy. Her sweet smile was the best at the party. She always appeared cheerful and never shows bad emotions. And that is how, I come to loved her.

((SOUND OF FOOTSTEPS, SOUND OF CHAIR BEING PULLED))

‘Hmm?’. Kimiko saw Kazumi entered the dining room, bringing his lunch on a plate. She smiled, stood up, and greeted him politely. ‘It’s a nice day, Kazumi-sama. How are you?’ asked her. ‘I am quite fine, Kimiko. Thank you for asking. Are you not eating?’ asked Kazumi as he smiled. Kimiko shook her head. She told her she and her friends were waiting for their food. Unfortunately, it will take a while for the four plates to be finished made. Kazumi chuckled and sat down. ‘If you are so hungry, you can share mine. I don’t mind--’ said him, offering his own lunch. ‘Oh no, Kazumi-sama! Please enjoy your lunch! You don’t have to worry about me’ said Kimiko as she blushed.

Kazumi looked at her and caressed her soft cheeks. ‘I meant it, you know’ said him as he stared at her beautiful soft-red eyes. ‘I know you do--’ said her. Kazumi went to her and almost had his lips on Kimiko’s lips. Their lips did touched but he backed away and took a bite on his lunch. Kimiko stared at him and blushed. The girls also blushed when they saw something very sensual happening, right in front of their eyes.

Kimiko cough and smiled. ‘Never knew that you are such a perverted man, Kazumi-sama. I am still a maiden’ said Kimiko as she took a sip of her drink. Kazumi blushed and asked her if she was even a maiden. ‘Perverted mind is not suit for you, Kazumi-sama. You must stop it at once’ warned Kimiko. ‘I suppose you should know the rules. I am the princess, while you are the king’.

He nodded in agreement. ‘We are indeed tied up, isn’t that right, Kimiko-hime?’ asked Kazumi as he ate his lunch. Kimiko’s and the girls’ lunches came after that. ‘Oh yes, Kazumi-sama. Aren’t we some kind of a couple not in a relationship?’ asked her. ‘Are we, Kimiko? You are so good at acting, no one knew if you really are in love with me’. He grinned and she was stunned with his words. ‘You are absolutely corrupted!’ cried her as she drank her tea. ‘You are a playboy indeed!’.

Kenren have been watching Kazumi and Kimiko for a while, and decided to interrupt their almost starting fight. ‘Kuran-sama!’ called him as he went to the table. ‘Yes, Kenren?’ asked Kazumi sternly. He wasn’t in a mood, he wanted to kiss Kimiko and teach her who belong her on the first place. ‘Ah, nothing much. It just that I wanted to know if you wish to change any of your schedule’ said Kenren. He obviously made it up for no reason. ‘Well, today I will be going to visit the graveyard’ told Kazumi. ‘Graveyard? For what reason?’ asked Kenren. ‘A daughter of father’s friend, Lord Shirakawa. She died suddenly yesterday. I wished I could go for her funeral, except that it was too late. That is why I decided to visit her grave. I will be going there at 4’ said him. Kenren nodded and wrote it in his notebook. ‘I suppose your 3 pm work will be postpone?’ asked Kenren. Kazumi nodded. ‘Oh, alright then. See you at class’ said Kenren as he turned around to leave. ‘Be sure to stay alert, I may be up to something’ said Kazumi as he closed his eyes. ‘Yes, Kuran-sama!’ said Kenren as he went away.

Kazumi turned his head around and looked at Kimiko. ‘You finished eating?’ asked him. She looked at her plate and glared at him. ‘Yes, I am done with it! I’m leaving as well, ladies!’ called Kimiko as she walked passed Kazumi but he caught her hand and kissed it. ‘Eh?’ asked her silly. ‘What do you think you are doing?!’. As she tried to let herself go, Kazumi kissed her on her lips and pushed her to the other table. ‘Umph!’.

All the occupants of the room stood up and blushed. Certainly, seeing the princess getting kissed sweetly by the king, it was rare on most occasions. ‘Could it be, that milady is really in love with Kuran-sama?’ whispered Kyoko. The other two girls nodded. ‘Oh, look at her blushing like mad. She certainly in love with him’ said the other two girls.

Ryou, saw the act and got angry. Kuran, he always disturbed Kimiko, the princess. She meant to be alone, protected and respected. But he, he humiliated her with stupid kisses!! That guy is absolutely a playboy! He stood up and went to Kazumi and Kimiko. He raised his voice and told Kazumi to stop kissing Kimiko. Kazumi stopped and looked at him. His hand was still on Kimiko’s left arm, clutching her firmly. ‘Kuran! She didn’t like what you did to her. Release her’ said Ryou sternly.

‘Senri-san’ said the 21-years old student. He gazed at Ryou’s reddish green eyes. ‘I am sorry if you feel uncomfortable about my relationship with Kimiko, but what I did with her does not mean any harm’ said Kazumi. ‘She indeed betrothed to me, so whatever I did to her is not your BUSINESS’. He meant it and he knew Ryou understood it. ‘But do it privately’ said Ryou short as he turned around and left the room.

Silent bound the whole room as everyone decided to move. Kimiko pushed Kazumi away and blushed as she went away. Kazumi managed to grabbed her hand and told her to wait for him later. She nodded and he let her go. All of them left the room one by one, leaving Kazumi all alone in there. He took a step and left the room as well.

- Vampire Academy – Hallway -

Kimiko walked through the hallway of the vampire academy. She has an hour and a half before the class resume. She went to the oak tree by the pond. She went under the tree and stood against the tree trunk. She sighed and slowly sat on the soft green ground. She thought about her sweet kiss with Kazumi, and blushed. He kissed me before, why do I have to blushed?! He already kissed me on the school compound, this morning! She rolled down the ground and blushed madly.

((SOUND OF PEOPLE’S FOOTSTEPS APPROACHING))

She heard him and suddenly woke up. ‘Who’s there?!’ asked her straight. ‘Show yourself!!’. She stood up and went to search for the person approaching her. Suddenly, she received a firm hug. ‘Eh?!’
