Summary: Fifty sentences describing the awkward love between Kyouya and Kaoru (and the infamous notebook, mwahaha). I based a lot of the sentences around Kaoru showing jealousy toward "that damn notebook". Sentences are not written in any particular order. Written for 1sentence on livejournal a while ago. Am I happy with these? Not really. But it was fun. :D

1-Motion
Haruhi is not the only one who can tell the twins apart; Kyouya can as well, since he knows Kaoru sashays his hips when he walks.

2-Cool
He has the label of "the cool type" for a reason, but around the younger Hitachiin twin he just loses it completely.

3-Young
"We both are the youngest members of our families; we don't have to carry on our names," he says softly, lips almost touching the other's, and Kaoru laughs, "Is that supposed to win me over?"

4-Last
It is then he decides enough is enough, but Kyouya feels guilty for about five seconds after watching Kaoru tell his twin he had found someone new.

5-Wrong
"No son of mine is going to be a faggot," the deep voice of his father echoes within his ears, but Kyouya's not sure if he heard him.

6-Gentle
Kyouya cradles his notebook so gently at times that Kaoru finds himself jealous of the inanimate object.

7-One
It is when he stands beside Kyouya, he knows: this the first time since Hikaru that he feels so complete with another human being.

8-Thousand
"That was our thousandth kiss," he says softly; and all the other male can say in reply is, "That's kinda creepy you know that, Kyouya-sempai."

9-King
It is not long until the Shadow King picks his queen, though Kaoru is not so sure he could tuck himself into the unknown if needed like his King can.

10-Learn
They are both virgins, so Kaoru is surprised when Kyouya offers to "teach" him on how to make love efficiently; however, Kaoru is ready to become the teacher's pet.

11-Blur
The line has finally been erased, but Kyouya is still afraid to step any closer.

12-Wait
There were no promises to each other for Kyouya to wait for Kaoru after graduating high school; whatever happened would happen, but secretly they both would wait.

13-Change
"We graduated high school two years ago; are you ever going to drop the formalities, Kaoru?"

14-Command
"Let's play a game, Kaoru," his voice sounds too devilish today, and Kaoru knows he'll be following petty orders like a little housewife soon enough.

15-Hold
Hands touch by accident, but the younger male likes the feeling, so he ignores his brain telling him not to and takes Kyouya's hand.

16-Need
Neither of the two males are greedy, but they cannot help but become wanton around each other.

17-Vision
Kaoru cannot help but wonder if the glasses on Kyouya's face are just for show or if he really needs them to correct his vision.

18-Attention
Kaoru's accustomed to attention from his twin, but he cannot seem to pry it out of the elder male; he is too absorbed with writing in that damn notebook most of the time.

19-Soul
Kyouya has this amazing ability to see the depth of things, and Kaoru wonders if the elder male could look through him and tell him if his soul is as tainted as everyone claims it to be.

20-Picture
He keeps a picture of the auburn-haired male in his notebook on the 67th page, the corners taped with Scotch tape and words jotted all around the paper.

21-Fool
One of the habits that irks Kyouya about the younger Hitachiin twin is that even though he and Hikaru have been separated for years, he still has to fool with his hair until it is brushed off to the left.

22-Mad
Sometimes the elder male wonders if Kaoru is even capable of anger, but he's sure one of these days he'll rub him the wrong way and get his hand bitten off.

23-Child
There are times where Kaoru can act just as childish as Tamaki, and all of a sudden Kyouya does not miss the blond anymore.

24-Now
There is no "then" or "now" for the two of them, it happens one day at a time, and each day seems better than the last.

25-Shadow
Kaoru cannot help but muse on how Kyouya truly is a shadow; popping up when you least expected him and disappearing when you needed him most.

26-Goodbye
The are no words for their greetings and partings; just a clash of silver and gold that seems to speak all on its own.

27-Hide
Sure, it was easy to do at first, but Kaoru soon found it was hard to hide his eyes when he snuck glances to the elder male during club, when those glances should have been meant for his dear brother and not for "Kyouya-sempai"; still the girls scream haplessly.

28-Fortune
That notebook is not the only thing Kaoru has to compete with for Kyouya's attention; there's also the host club's funds that he's sure means more than the notebook and him put together.

29-Safe
It was hard to get Kyouya to do anything, all he usually wanted to do was read the newspaper; "Come on don't you want to do something fun?" and the look he received was a perfectly arched eyebrow and a sigh, "All right, as long as it doesn't involve something dangerous," which made the playful smirk disappear from the auburn-haired male, and Kyouya was sure a walk in the park would be suggested momentarily.

30-Ghost
It made him shiver each and every time; Kaoru knew just how to run his fingertips over his heated skin without contact and drive him absolutely crazy.

31-Book
"Lemme see!" came the quite childish but playful tone of voice, hands on the other's shoulder to pull him down to catch a glance of what it was exactly Kyouya was writing in that notebook he paid more attention to than him.

32-Eye
Kyouya keeps an eye on each of the club members, one certain male in particular; of course nothing that is not even remotely important gets past his blond best friend and when Tamaki asks why exactly Kyouya is looking at Kaoru way more than needed, Kyouya can't help but smack him in the back of the head and tell him not to be so stupid.

33-Never
They are both smart enough to know that "never" is a promise to break.

34-Sing
One of the Hitachiin twin's female clients ask Kaoru if he had ever considering singing since his voice was as light as air, and all Kyouya can do is write "ask Kaoru to sing" and underline it three times.

35-Sudden
"I love you," seemed so out of character for him, so sudden... it made Kaoru fall over laughing.

36-Stop
He could ask him to stop taking the tie off, to stop being so distracting, but once Kaoru starts something, he sees it through til the end.

37-Time
There's always a time for everything for Kyouya, but Kaoru wonders where he fits into his schedule.

38-Wash
The two males take showers together on Sunday evenings, but they never seem to get clean.

39-Torn
"You don't understand, Kaoru-kun. I am not who you think I am," but a whispered reply followed by a kiss, "Yes you are," makes him not so sure if he is whom he made himself out to be anymore.

40-History
Kyouya knows history is not Kaoru's strong suit, so he loves to ask him questions about important dates everyone should know but the younger twin conveniently forgets.

41-Power
It truly infuriates Kyouya as he watches Kaoru pushes him down to the bed, kissing him hard; he is almost certain he will have to use force to make sure he remembers who holds the power.

42-Bother
"Do I bother you?" Kaoru asks out of the blue one evening as Kyouya types on his laptop; smoky eyes look to the other in a silent disbelief, piles of work surrounding him, "What makes you think that?"

43-God
"Do you think there is a higher power, Kyouya?" Kaoru asks one night while the two stargaze, wrapped in each other's arms, "I do not believe in such," was all he could say in reply before golden eyes look up to him and a soft voice asks, "Then what do you think brought us together?" and a chuckle rumbles in the elder male's throat, "Tamaki, and he is definitely not God."

44-Wall
There is a barrier Kyouya has always had around him, forbidding anyone to come close, but Kaoru is sure he's almost over it.

45-Naked
The younger male is not entirely sure why he feels as if Kyouya is always undressing him with his eyes, but he laughs and turns the other way.

46-Drive
"You drive me to do incredibly embarrassing things," he remarks one day as he is writing, and Kaoru replies with a smirk, "I try."

47-Harm
Kiss after kiss over each bruise and red mark on his skin, Kaoru whimpering with each touch and memory, and silently Kyouya vows he will kill Hikaru.

48-Precious
"Which one of us do you like better, me or that damn notebook of yours?" Kaoru asks when they are alone after club one day, and his stomach sinks when he gets no reply.

49-Hunger
He lets out a piercing cry, one of pain and pleasure, groaning as Kyouya nips at each opportune place, and Kaoru knows better than to question him now when he says he wants him for dinner.

50-Believe
With a soft clunk the notebook hits the table, hand reach other and clutch his shoulders, pulling him close and he is finally within Kyouya's arms.
