OTD!!!!! (Oh the drama)

Ch 6.

It was one minute before midnight when the Akatsuki arrived at their destination. It was poring rain.

“Are you making it rain you fucking heathen?” Hidan asked Pein.

“Perhaps...” was all he said.

“Is it really you?!” a guard stationed at the gate yelled, “Lord Pein?!”

“Lord...?” Kisame asked himself.

Pein stood tall, and made himself appear regal.

“Send word that your God has returned.” he bellowed.

“GOD?!” Hidan screeched, “YOUR NOT A FUCKING GOD!!!!!!!!!”

Konan sneered and stomped on Hidan’s toes, using the heels of her shoes, her high heeled shoes.

Before Hidan could scream, Kakuzu slapped his hand over his partner’s mouth, greatly muffling it.

“He can be what he-he— Hahchoo!” before Kakuzu finished he sneezed.

“You fucking pansy, you’re getting sick?” Hidan asked, pulling his partners hand away from his face.

“I don’t get sick.” Kakuzu muttered, “It’s been eight decades since I last got sick.”

“Yea well that—”

“And you don’t become sick from being wet or cold.” Kakuzu added, “That’s just some old tale to keep the kids inside at night or when it’s raining.”

“Who told you that?” Deidara asked.

“My mother.”

“Oh...” Deidara said, “Well she seems like a smart woman.”

Kakuzu merely snorted in distain.

“So she wasn’t smart?” Tobi asked.

Kakuzu merely shrugged in response.

“He’s not going to tell you anything.” Hidan said, “He’s stubborn.”

As they entered the city, people flocked around them. But mostly Pein and Konan.

“Lord Pein!” an old man said, “You honor us with your presence.”

“You truly are an angel of god!” a woman cried, bowing to Konan.

Pein turned to the others, a harsh look upon his face.

“These people are my most loyal followers.” he said, “They inform me of what is happening in the Land of Rain. I want them to remain alive. Understand?”

Everyone nodded in response.

Pein then turned to the oldest person in the small crowd of people, and old woman, so old she looked as if she was melting because of her hanging, wrinkled skin.

“Have you been taking care of my other bodies?” he asked.

“I have my Lord.” the woman croaked, “All are perfectly safe and healthy.”

“Good, I’ll be changing soon.”

“Which one?” the woman asked.

“The thin one.” Pein answered.

“I’ll get him ready then.”

Pein then turned to a young man.

“Escort my followers to were they are staying.” he said, “And get Konan a doctor.”

The man nodded and beckoned the others to follow him.

One by one, the Akatsuki was dropped off at a decent sized apartment. Soon only Konan was left. The man led her to the tallest level of the city and opened the door to where she and Pein resided.

“Any particular doctor you want, M’lady?” he asked.

“One that specializes in pregnancy.”

The man blinked and then nodded before he left.

“You didn’t need to tell him that.” a smooth voice said.

Konan turned to see a tall, thin man with extremely long auburn hair, many piercing, and all to familiar ringed eyes.

“I haven’t seen that one in awhile.” Konan said, walking up and stroking the man’s thin face.

“All the reason more to choose it.”

“Pein,” Konan said, smiling meekly, “promise me not to go into the one that looks like a cobra? I think it scares everyone.”

Pein scowled.

“I will choose the body I feel is necessary.” he snarled.

Konan pressed her face into Pein’s chest. She then mouthed out a name. Pein felt it and knew what she had said, and that made him angrier.

“Don’t say that name!” he snapped, grabbing her shoulders and roughly pushing her away, “I left it, and I will never take it back!”

Konan opened her mouth to reply but was cut off by a knock at the door.

“That would be the doctor.” Konan said, walking to the door and opening it.

They were surprised to see not a lady, but a young girl, no more than fifteen.

“You’re the doctor?” Pein asked.

“Yes sir.” the girl said, bowing, “The previous one passed away.”

Pein frowned. The girl had shown little respect when addressing him.

The girl grabbed her chin and looked Konan over, and after awhile she jutted her hips to the right, causing her to bend sideways at the hip.

“You’re pregnant alright.” she said finally, “The best thing to do is not to drink or smoke.”

“What about carrying out missions?” Konan asked.

“As long as you feel up to it, then do it.” the girl shrugged, “But you should tone it down when you get into your seventh month.”

With that the girl took her leave, saying she had others to see.

“Pein?”

“Hm?”

“I think we should get a better doctor…”

"Why?"

"She's so young. I doubt that she has had a baby herself."

"Well who would you prefer?"

"... Kakuzu..."
