“Senpai, senpai! Wake up!” Tobi was shaking Deidara as he was sleeping. Deidara mumbled and wanted to punch Tobi in the bright orange swirly mask of his, but he decided not to.

“What the…?” Deidara sprang up from his bed and placed a firm grip around Tobi’s neck. “What do you want, un? It’s the middle of the night, un!” He released the choke-hold, leaving Tobi gasping for breath.

“Senpai…” Tobi said quietly, poking his to pointer fingers together. “I heard a strange noise.” Deidara began to fume. But, he quietly kept them to himself for once.

“And what did it sound like…?” He said slowly, trying not to completely lose it and pulverize the kid. Tobi put his finger up to where his chin was behind the mask.

“It sounded like someone through a boulder at a rat and it died!” He declared happily, looking out the window. Deidara just fell backwards back on his pillow.

“Tobi, be serious… for once, un.” Deidara said, forgetting the point that it was in fact impossible.

“That’s what I heard!” He argued. Deidara just grabbed the pillow and placed it over his head, trying to drown out the noise.

He’ll forget about it eventually… He thought. He can’t be ranting on about this forever…

Still being as persistent as ever, Tobi began to shake him. Deidara once again tried to ignore it, but how could anyone get sleep with some annoying kid shaking you, eh?

“SENPAI! THERE’S A GHOST IN HERE! I KNOW IT!” He yelled loudly. So loudly, he probably woke up Itachi and Kisame in the next room over. In fact, he did wake up Itachi and Kisame. So, being Itachi and Kisame, they stormed into the room, but not with Itachi first walking into the door.

“…What are you doing?” Kisame asked, gazing at the strange scene. It appeared Tobi was frozen in this strange position; standing on one leg with his hands in the air, and Deidara looking ready to strangle him, his hands positioned a few inches behind Tobi’s neck. “Why did Tobi scream some crazy thing about a ghost?”

“Tobi think that there’s a ghost in here,” Deidara began, quickly moving his hands away before Tobi realizes he was about to strangle him again. “But there’s obviously not.” Then, suddenly, as if on cue, there was a crash of thunder and a flash of lightning outside. “I didn’t know it was… raining, un…” Deidara said shakily.

“I-it wasn’t…” Kisame began backing away towards the door, which slammed shut by itself, startling the three. “ZOMG!” Kisame jumped away towards Tobi And Deidara.

“Try to open the door, idiot!” Deidara pushed him back towards the door. Kisame wobbled and tried to grab to door knob for support.

It broke off.

“ZOMGWTH?!” Deidara yelled, lunging for the window, which he forgot was closed. He smacked right into the glass, giving it a small crack. He then fell backwards onto Tobi’s back, causing them both to fall to the ground. “Ouch…” Deidara whimpered.

“Senpai!” Tobi tried hard to sound concerned, but couldn’t help but giving a little laugh. That was enough to tick Deidara off, even in this type of moment.

“Tobi…” He said in an eerily, quiet tone.

“Y-yes senpai?”

“You know the so called… ghost?” He asked. Tobi nodded. Suddenly, Deidara sprang up and began chasing him around the room. “I’M FEEDING YOU TO HIM!”

“Senpai!” Tobi said after about a minute and now trapped in a corner. “Aren’t you over-reacting?!” He said worriedly.

“You’re right, un.” Deidara sighed. “Because there probably is no ghost, un! Duh.”

By now, Kisame was practically spazzing out, banging on the door, the walls and the floor yelling, “LET US OUT!!”

“That’s not gonna work!” Tobi said cheerfully. “Ask the ghostie nicely!” Kisame and Deidara just looked at him.

If we don’t get out here within five days, Deidara thought with a malicious grin on his face. I’m going to begin to wonder what Tobi meat tastes like. Hehehe…

“DEIDARA!” Kisame shook him relentlessly. “SNAP OUT OF IT!” Then, he got an idea. “Use your clay to explode the door open!”

“No!” Deidara argued. “I don’t feel like blowing up my room!”

“And mine!” Tobi added in. Deidara looked at him with a scowl.

“Not anymore!” Deidara took Tobi by his mask strap, opened the closet door and pushed him in there. He then barricaded the door with a wooden chair.

“There!” He said happily, dusting his hands together. “That takes care of that problem!”

“B-but what about that problem?” Kisame pokes Deidara on the shoulder, showing him a giant silhouette behind them.

“ZOMG!” Deidara threw the door back and whipped open the closet door, which Tobi was leaning against, toppling out. “Okay, for once, and I don’t mean anything about this, un! You were right, I was wrong! But don’t get used to it, un!”

“Deidara-senpai?” Tobi said softly, as Deidara turned his head. “If we don’t make it out of this alive, I just wanted to say one thing…”

“What the crud is it, un?!”

“I ate the last piece of pie reserved for you!” Tobi chuckled cheerfully.

“You WHAT?!”
