- Anime Midsummer Night's Dream -

Here is my newest fanfic as of 08/03/07. It's pretty short right now though. Anyway, Hope you enjoy it!

Chapter 1: Act. 1 Sc. 1 (a.k.a People Cannot Memorize Their Lines except Eriol)

Riza: Gather here people! Oh, and sit in a circle.

Everyone (excluding the sane ones) run around like lunatics and eventually sits in a triangle.

Riza: Okaaaaaay. I guess that doesn't really matter. You may stay that way.

Yusuke, Sakura, Ueki, Mikan: Yay!

Rinko: Could it have just been a coincidence that they're all the main characters of each show who said "Yay!"?

Botan: Who cares? The sooner we get this over with, the sooner we get our break!

Sano: That'd be great!

All other characters: Yeah!

That was excluding Hiei, Syaoran, Robert and Natsume who we shall give the nickname, "The 4".

"The 4": Hn…

Riza: Well, you won't be getting your precious break any time soon. I will do everything in my power to keep you from it. Muwahahahahahaha!

Everyone: - most are creeped out -

Riza: Here's the cast. – shows PowerPoint Presentation -

Theseus: Sano Seiichiro (reaction: O.O)

Hippolyta: Rinko Jerrard (reaction: T.T)

Egeus: Eriol Hiragizawa (sp?) (no reaction)

Philostrate: Kazuma Kuwabara (reaction: o.O)

Hermia: Mikan Sakura (reaction: "I got a lead character's role!")

Lysander: Natsume Hyuuga (reaction: Hn. ; Mikan's reaction: "Nooooooo!")

Demetrius: Ruka Nogi (reaction: …)

Helena: Hotaru Imai (reaction: …)

Riza: Everyone else will just watch. For now…

Mikan: Why am I Natsume's girlfriend here?

Riza: You are not his girlfriend for you are merely his lover.

Natsume: You just made it sound worse.

Riza: I know that.

Mikan: - being depressed in a corner -

Riza: Let the show begin!

Mikan: - leaves the corner drudgingly -

Sano: Hey Hippo… hippo-

Rinko: -whispers- Hippolyta, you idiot!

Sano: -whispers- Well sorry! –normal voice- Hey Hippolyta! We're gonna get married in 4 days. The moon is too slow!

Riza: What the heck? Sano, say your lines properly will ya?

Sano: I can't. I didn't memorize it.

Rinko: Don't worry, Riza. I will do all I can to please you. I will memorize my lines better if I have the chance.

Sano: And take 8 hours doing so!

The two argue for at least a century here and an hour there. Riza decided to move on to the next part of that scene which was when Philostrate exits.

Kuwabara: -exits the building-

Riza: Hey Yusuke! Get him to come back here. He will not be escaping from me, Riza, the authoress of this fanfic! -looks like some extremely evil plan has gone terribly wrong-

Yusuke: -mildly creeped out- Okay…

Riza: And don't you dare make any attempt to escape. Keiko is here.

Yusuke: What? –sees Keiko waving at him from backstage- Fine, I'll get him.

Right after Yusuke had gone out, you could hear from wherever you are the sound of cars, buses and trucks being smashed.

Yusuke: -comes back with Kuwa-

Riza: Did I just hear you smashing down harmless vehicles?

Yusuke: They are not harmless vehicles. They contribute to the pollution in our society.

Everyone: -amazed-

Smart People: -thinking- No, no! This is not happening!

Riza: Egeus, enter.

Eriol: -comes in like he's been practicing that walk for weeks- Full of vexation come I … Immediately provided in that case. (He said the whole line.)

Sano: -sleepy- W-what? Oh… Hermia, you're supposed to obey your dad 'cause Demetrius is a great gentleman. At least that's how the line's supposed to go.

Mikan: Yeah, you're right. Demetrius is great.

Riza: Mikan!

Mikan: Okay, okay. So is Lysander.

Sano: Hey, how come your line's much shorter than mine?

Mikan: I have no idea. Maybe you should ask William Shakespeare.

Riza: This is getting nowhere…

And so, Riza sent the people to their rooms to either sleep or memorize their lines except for Hiei who slept outside.

I finally finished it! I'm not sure if you found that funny or annoying but I honestly don't care. R&R. Constructive criticism welcome but flames will rot.
