In the other room, D set his teacup down with a clink, lips thinning. “Mr Detective, I do not know what you are accusing me of, but rest assured that I am not, heaven forbid, trying to murder my customers by laying traps for them in the toilet of all places.”

“That ain’t a toilet, that’s a-a”
