A/N: You will not believe me when I say that I typed this up in a day. I had a lot of time on my hands and I decided to spend it by updating fanfics and thus this new fanfic was born. It was like being in labor with it for eight hours! This is the first time I feel very confident about a fanfic.
On another note, expect oocness from Naruto. I'm afraid I've butchered his bright character. Also there will be a lot of scene changing but none of them will be just out of random. Fortunately you don't have to expect anymore of them in future chapters.
Pairings: SasuxNaru. slight KakaxIru
Warnings: sexual content in future chapters, for now it gets a T rating for cussing and blood.
Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto. The brilliant Masashi Kishimoto does.
Summary: “What I’m trying to say, Sasuke, is that if you don’t find your sorry ass into some kind of community service or sport even your rich brother won’t be able to pursue those collage professors to get you in.”
Death may be the greatest of all human blessings.

This was a saying that was frighteningly fitting for this scenario in particular.
-
The setting was no better.
Gray colored skies growing corpulent as time elapsed. Droplets of water hit against cold pavement and threatened to multiply in numbers as the air saturated. Then did concern for the weather grow rapidly just as umbrellas flew open.
Passing but inquiring eyes caused mouths to hide prying words in audible but soft breathe. However loud their voices wished to be did not matter; the sound of rain would wash their voices out.
“Plit” whispered the droplets of rain as they greeted the floor.
“Jeez…isn’t he cold?”
Vehicles drove past by dangerously close to the sidewalks where mini-ponds of water rest. Tainted water flew swiftly towards the sidewalks, to the pavement, and to light blue cloth. Indication of sympathy showed towards the drenched teenager was not found.
“Plit” said the rain and the pavement made no response.
A pair of azure eyes stared emotionlessly out to the streets ahead of him. He ceased all shivering within his body by merely clenching his fists and digging his nails into his skin. Teeth bit down the very edge of his lips in impatience. Tears mixed with the rain but no one had taken notice.
With his pajamas wet from head to toe he figured if he made it out alive he would find himself with high fever. Asinine thoughts caused him to shake his head. This time he would set out not to survive; there would be no one who would miss him anyway.
Green light changed to a sunny yellow and within seconds into red. People who had been on the side of his road departed from him and crossed safely to the next before the lights changed again.
“Plit” yelled the rain when the pavement lay quiet.
Tanned fingers rose to the corner of his eyes to wipe remaining tears from forming. Big boys didn’t cry-not even in these kinds of situations. He would join his mother and father, very soon.
Red light turned green.
“H-Hey what’s he doing!?”
A forced smile lay on his face when he stepped out the side walk. His feet made to a halt in the middle of the road, cars trying to avoid impact with the boy. The boy ignored all honking and raised his face to the rain. The skies showed no signs of clearing.
A weather rather fitting to the scene.
He suddenly felt a full force against his body. And to describe it as being hit by a car would be an understatement.
“Plit” screamed the rain as the clouds roared.
“Holy fuck, someone call an ambulance!”

Ironic how one’s boring profession could be found with kinetic balls within their work place.
“You realize what this means, correct?”
Pitch black eyes studied the balls hard, observing how the first the ball hit three stationary balls and sent the fourth ball flying in the air. This was anything but some kind of magic or miracle but rather the work of kinetic energy hence the name, kinetic balls.
It was a wonder as to why a guidance counselor would have use of this in their office. Perhaps for decoration?
He didn’t wait for a reply from this silence demeanor, somewhat expecting it. Having counseled the same cocky boy for three years he hadn’t expect any sort of change.
“This is your senior year and you’ve yet to go to some kind of extracurricular activity. Though your grades are outstanding and by far the best this school has ever seen, it’ll be difficult for you to get into the collage of your choice if they see you never made an effort to do after school activities.” He explained. “What I’m trying to say, Sasuke, is that if you don’t find your sorry ass into some kind of community service or sport even your rich brother won’t be able to pursue those collage professors to get you in.”
Sasuke didn’t raise his visage from the kinetic balls.
“I could care less, Kakashi…”
Surely this counselor knew Sasuke more than his own brother did. His only eye curved into an animated curve that indicated his delight. “I knew you would say that!” He sang. “That’s why I made the preparations myself. You’ll be visiting a patient at Leaf Hospital three times a week for an hour. You start as soon as I get some information on the patient you’ll be looking after. Now you don’t have to talk to him or her but try not to glare at them for the whole time, okay?”
“I didn’t agree to-”
“I’m glad we can come to an understanding!” Kakashi stood and led the boy out before he could get in a word of protest. And if there was anyone who could ever hope to win against Sasuke Uchiha then it was Kakashi. In his teen years Kakashi had been that silence in school just as Sasuke was. He was also a genius but unfortunately suffered from mild poverty.
“Goddamn that Kakashi…” He snatched his pass back to class. Not that anyone would bother to stop him, after all everyone knew Sasuke Uchiha was a good straight-A student. With a rough cocky attitude but nonetheless he just didn’t cut class.
It was on his way towards entering his class when he was pulled aside by a classmate. Sasuke growled at the contact however did not mutter a word until he was faced with the criminal.
Lavender colored eyes fixed with dark ones. Sasuke quickly recognized them to belong to the only freaky eyed student in all of Leaf high school.
“Neji.” He spat.
“Imagine my surprise when I snuck out of class just to find you roaming around the hallway.” He said. “I am sure you are aware that our dear classmates Kiba and Shikamaru didn’t make it to school today.”
Sasuke rolled his eyes. “Your point?”
“They went on ahead and reserved the bay area for us. I believe you promised me a challenge the other week.” Neji pointed. “If we head out now then we’ll make it before it starts raining. The others will catch up with us soon. We’ll use my car to meet up with them within the hour.”
Sasuke checked his watch. “School doesn’t end in three.”
“Exactly why I am glad I caught you before you went in your next class.” Neji explained. “This would be your first time since freshmen year. If you don’t have any exams you cannot make up then we should head out. Unless you’re afraid?”
That was a mistake. No one should ever insinuate that Sasuke Uchiha was afraid.
“Not at all.” Sasuke answered.
A security walked towards them in suspicion. Distracted by a young girl who bent to take a drink from the fountain, Sasuke saw the opportunity to flee.
“Let’s go.”

Panic escalated the institution.
More importantly the panic was scaring the living shit out of one Iruka Umino.
Sirens were alarmed along with a voice over the intercom. It was known to be the “warden” if you will, of the place. Iruka looked at the nearby speaker. “Naruto Uzumaki, patient no. 101015 has escaped for the fifth time in two months. I swear…”
“You’ll get him won’t you Iruka?” The brunette scratched the bridge of his nose where a dark scar lay. “Tsunade has enough to deal with.” She explained. “And you are his caretaker.”
Iruka nodded. “I’ll do it, don’t worry about it Shizune. I’ll search the bay area; he’s always there when he escapes this place.” A smile ran across Shizune’s lips as she went to turn off all sirens. As she turned her back on him a sudden look of concern consumed his countenance.
Naruto had the darkest habit of self harm and suicidal actions. That was his main reason for being turned into the facility in the first place. However many times Naruto tried to kill himself, it was like something had been watching over him-like a guardian angel. Because with every suicide attempt failed, it proved that Naruto was a lucky boy.
Luck, however, was loaned not kept.
And for Naruto it could be loaned at even the worse times of his life.

“Tch…those dick heads are fucking late.”
Kiba let out a loud growl to express his impatience. However the pathetic excuse for a growl was short lived when white smoke blew past his sensitive nostrils. The unexpected scent was enough for Kiba to start growing into a coughing fit.
“Fuck Shikamaru, since when did you smoke?” He snatched it away from the boy before throwing it down on the floor, crushing all substances with his shoe.
Shikamaru examined the clouds.
“Since Asuma died.”
“Oh. Fuck, sorry my fault.” He apologized. Shikamaru gave him a blank stare, unsure if he was sorry for throwing his last cigarette or showing sympathy for Asuma’s death. In any other case he accepted it.
“How troublesome…why are you impatient anyway? We haven’t reached the bay yet.” Shikamaru pointed. Sure enough they were only a block away but with Neji’s car nowhere in sight. Kiba was only being a hypocrite.
They stopped at the light turning green.
“Man what a pain!” Kiba stretched. His eyes suddenly focused on a young boy about his age who stood alone in front of them. He opened his mouth to speak until he felt droplets of water hit against his eye. Kiba flinched, wiping it quickly before if caused irritation.
Shikamaru felt a poke at his ribs from his friend.
Kiba pointed to the kid in front of them.
“Jeez isn’t he cold?”
Shikamaru only shrugged unconcerned for the business of others.
The two suddenly jumped back as a car drove past them, splashing water all over the unmoving boy. Kiba blinked and felt a burst of laughter from the back of his throat. Shikamaru glared at him and nearly felt sorry for the boy.
The lights turned red.
“Let’s go you idiot.” Shikamaru pulled on Kiba who could no longer contain his laughter.
“Ah man! What a dumbass!”
The lights turned back green.
The two suddenly heard bursts of screaming and screeching tires. Kiba twirled around to see the blond boy suddenly walk into them middle of the road.
Shikamaru felt shivers down his spine.
“H-Hey what’s he doing!?”

“Hmm…it’s raining.”
Sasuke looked out the car window to verify Neji’s statement.
For some reason Sasuke felt like something bad was going to happen.
A foreshadowing if you will.
“Oi, Sasuke take the wheel.” Neji instructed. With little time to do so Neji let the wheel go and glanced back to retrieve his cell phone.
Sasuke quickly grabbed it.
“Fuck Neji!”
Neji smirked.
“Hello?”
A voice full of panic was on the other line. “Holy fuck Neji…there’s a crazy kid that’s-”
He screaming over the phone blocked out Kiba’s voice. “Wait what?”
Sasuke’s eyes had left the road to look at Neji when he heard honking. His eyes widened at the sight of a young boy in the middle of the streets.
“Fuck!”

-
Iruka felt cold shivers all around his body. Tears formed in the corners of his eyes as he watched in horror.
“Naruto!”
Naruto’s face turned upwards towards the sky, taking no notice of Iruka’s presence.
His body suddenly felt a heavy impact. At first he had thought it was a car by how heavy it had felt. To his disappointment and surprise it was a person. He had no chance of catching this person’s face as soon as he hit the pavement and out of harm’s way.
He hit his head and felt a sharp pain suddenly, causing him to pass out.
Kiba suddenly shivered.
“Holy fuck, someone call an ambulance! Fuck! Shikamaru!” His eyes turned to the car that had flipped and hit the tree. A silver porche…
“Holy fuck! Neji! Sasuke!”
-
-
“Neji…”
Blood quickly rushed to Sasuke’s head.
He quickly unlocked his seat belt, crashing his shoulder against hood of the car.
Sasuke sat up all while groaning in pain just as his blood rushed away from his head. A tickling feeling suddenly ran down his cheek. Fingers quickly flew to touch it and examine it. However there was no cut on his cheek to be the source of the blood.
His eyes slowly examined Neji who was at an awkward position in the car. His face covered in his own blood.
Unresponsive.
