Title: The Longest Journey

Summary: When Drakken builds a device that inadvertently pulls the Tardis to Middleton Kim Possible meets the Doctor.

Disclaimer: Kim Possible belongs to Disney and the BBC owns Doctor Who, neither is mine.

Rating: PG (May go up to PG-13)

A/N: Written for aKP/Dr Who crossover challenge at kpslashhaven. Pairings will be Kigo and 10/Rose. On a side note KP is an American show, but Dr Who is very much a British show and I’m an English writer and my spelling etc will represent that.

“Problem.” The Doctor ran from one end of the control room to another, pushing buttons and running a hand through his hair in irritation. “We might be about crash.”

“Might?” Rose quizzed, raising an eyebrow questioningly. “How?” The Doctor gave up running around and threw his hands up in defeat.

“Something’s dragging the Tardis through space and time. And I can’t stop it.” He admitted, scarring the young woman. She’d never known him to just give up.

“What do we do?” Her voice was small and full of fear.

“Hold on?”

“What did he do?” Kim shouted as she and Shego dived behind a tipped over bench, leaving Ron and Drakken to fend for themselves. Shego gave her a ‘don’t ask me’ look as they watched Drakken’s latest doom device whir and spark, charges of electricity causing the air to crackle.

“Shego!” Drakken whined from behind a potted plant. “Turn it off!” She rolled her eyes and shouted back a string of obscenities that all amounted to one big ‘no’.

“Something’s happening!” Ron pointed to the crackling energy that was collecting in one place in the centre of the room.

Shego and Kim peeked out from behind the bench and watched in amazement as something began to materialize in front of them, accompanied by a noise like a thousand gears scraping together at once.

“Alright, who did it?” A man emerged from the blue police box that had appeared, followed by a younger blonde. He shoved his hands in to the pockets of his brown pinstriped trousers and scowled. “Come on, own up.”

“Doctor!” the blonde spoke with a cockney accent and looked around cautiously. “I think there’s been a fight here.”

“You bet ya, cupcake.” Shego shot off a ball of plasma, deliberately missing the girl and hitting the phone box they’d both emerged from.

“That wasn’t very nice.” The man the blonde had referred too as ‘Doctor’ spoke, stepping in front of the blonde protectively. “So, not human. What species are you?” Shego ignored him and gawped at the blue box where she’d blasted it with her plasma. There wasn’t a mark on it.

She let off another blast to test it and found it unmarked again. The Doctor simply grinned. “She’s not so easy to damage this old thing.” He stroked the box affectionately as though it were a life long friend. Shego went to let off another blast when Kim dived on her, knocking her aim and causing the plant pot Drakken was hiding behind to explode. He let out a scream before running to hide behind Ron, looking sheepishly between the man, in a trench coat and pinstriped suit, and his sidekick.

“Doctor, he’s blue.” Rose pointed out, and then looked towards the green hued woman who was wrestling with a teenager on the ground.

“Don’t be jealous Pumpkin.” She shoved the teenager off and got to her feet, dusting herself off. “And I’m human!” She huffed at the Doctor.

“And she’s green.” The Doctor added. “You’re sure you’re human?”

“Very.” Shego growled, her first glowing again.

“Whoa! Easier there.” The Doctor grinned. “Genetic mutation I’m guessing? The first humans to produce plasma live on Salamol-4, but that won’t be for another…ooh four millennia, give or take a century.” Shego extinguished her flames and stared blankly at the man as he wandered around Drakken’s lair, touching various broken machinery. He was obviously some sort of insane evil doctor, with added emphasis on the insane.

“Who are you?” Kim Possible stepped towards the man and looked at him cautiously, unsure of whether he was a villain or not.
”I’m the Doctor.” He held out his hand, which Kim shook politely. “And you’re Kim Possible. Teen heroine extraordinaire! She’s a legend Rose!” He beamed goofily at his companion, who smiled apologetically at Kim as though she were used to apologising for him. “What I want to know is who and what pulled my ship here? It’d take pretty advance technology to do. Way beyond twenty first century technology.”

“That would be me!” Drakken shoved past Ron, grinning madly. “Doctor Drakken!”

“It was meant to be a beam to shut off the Internet.” Shego interrupted, shooting Drakken down.

“Looks a bit broken now.” Rose added, kicking a piece of metal that had fallen from the machine.

As Kim and the Doctor talked about Drakken, the teen heroine reassuring him that he was a bumbling idiot who could never reinvent his machine, Shego snuck past the two blonde sidekicks and into the open door of the police phone box, curious as to how they had both managed to fit inside the small wooden box.

She gasped for the second time that night as she entered a large room with a console in the middle and various pillars holding up the ceiling. She ran a hand over the control panel and grinned. If she knew how to fly the thing she would be able to steal it for herself. “I wouldn’t touch that if I were you.” The Doctor’s voice filled her ears, echoing around the cavernous ship, causing her to tense and turn around.

“Shego!” Kim scowled, followed in to the deviously large ship by the Doctor’s blonde companion. “Do you ever stop stealing?”

“You know me Kimmie, always on the jo-whoa.” She slipped against the console, knocking various buttons. The cylinder in the middle began to grind up and down as the whirring noise of gears grinding filled their ears again.

“Uh oh.” The Doctor rushed forward, knocking Shego out of the way and began frantically pushing buttons and pulling levers. He held the same panicked look from earlier.

“Rose-“

“Yeah I know. Hold on.” She clung to one of the large brown pillars that she’d always likened to a curlywurly while Kim and Shego exchanged confused glances and the Doctor held on to the panel. Suddenly the ship began to shake and they were both thrown backwards with Kim landing on top of Shego for the second time that day.

Instead of throwing her off Shego clung to the nearest metal bar she could find and wrapped an arm tightly around Kim’s waist before the ship lurched again, keeping them in place. “I got you, princess.”

“Where are we going?” Rose shouted over the noise of the ship as it hurtled through time and space. The Doctor shrugged with a smile on his face.

“No idea.” The mysterious Doctor and his sidekick seemed to be enjoying themselves way too much given their current situation. Kim simply clung to Shego and waited for them to arrive wherever they were going.
