A/N: Okay so, this story is probably going to be the most different story that I ever put online. Please tell me if you like the story, flamers are acceptable.
Summary: Rhade is in love with Trance; Trance is in love with Rhade… and someone else. Now what will happen when the other man Trance loves comes back?
‘Denvrik Divinity’
The planet of Fortzun, named ‘Fortzun 8’, was quiet . . . too quiet. It was too quiet for the human ear. Only the sounds of rustling in the grass were visible. Denvrik, the demon, was walking through the grassy valley. Denvrik was looking for a flower . . . a flower made of titanium. ‘Feeling lonely?’ he thought. The black-purple ripped dragon wings connected to his back flung straight up, and then he bent down and picked the flower from the stem. The yellow energy lines turned to black, and then purple. The flower was now titanium with purple energy lines going all around it. Denvrik’s loose fading shade of purple skin turned to black around the muscular parts of his demon body. His black, sharp, long horns stayed the same way as they were. His devil eyes turned to a solid, light blue. The non-melting ice armor that he wore from his waist to his feet turned permanent black, a solid black. Denvrik’s smile came to a frown. His dragon tail twitched as he thought.
‘I’m a devil . . . not a lover hidden in peace,’ his devilish personality thought. Just then, his happy personality kicked in-‘I don’t care, you can’t be my personality forever! I can like whoever I want!’-‘she’s an avatar of the sun, who knows what she can do!’-‘it doesn’t matter, I love her and that is what the important thing is’. . .
Trance stood next to Rhade in the gym. She focused on the dagger and a devilish moon that rested in her hand. Rhade put the weights he was holding on the floor. Everything was silent, only their breathing wasn’t mute. ‘I’m tied in a twisted fate . . . between two people, Denvrik and Rhade. I don’t want them to fight- maybe I can do something about this conflict,’ Trance thought calmly.
Rhade looked over Trance’s shoulder and saw the dagger and the moon. Rhade got confused.
‘If I kill the moon . . . then I’m killing Denvrik’s evil side. Must I kill the devil inside of him, but keep the innocent inside and outside him. He gave these artifacts to me for a reason,’ Trance came to a decision-‘keep the dagger and the moon safe’.
“What are you doing?” Rhade asked curiously. Trance turned her head and looked straight at Rhade. “Let me guess, you can see Denvrik in the future? He’s trouble”.
“No he isn’t. Denvrik is a very kind person . . . or in the grammar, he’s a kind Demon,” Trance said in defensive words.
‘Trance and a Demon, how nice,’ Rhade thought blankly.
That night when everything had came into focus, Trance had a dream . . .
There was a spark of fire in the horizon. The High Guard stood on one side of the grass valley . . . and the Demons on the other. Trance was in the middle of it.
“Don’t you all see what’s happening to yourselves? Being against being, fighting, and war! This is just all a conflict; it should all stop . . . now!” Trance said in her dream. “Do you see the world outside of you?”
Dylan stepped forward. “Listen, Trance, if the Demons get through High Guard forces, then who will stop them? Nobody will!” Dylan yelled fiercely, suddenly there was a bang from six rifles all at once. The lead Demon, Denvrik, collapsed to the ground . . .
The next morning, the sun started to rise across the grass valley. Denvrik walked slowly, avoiding pines from the trees that surrounded him. The air was cold and dark. Denvrik carried a corpse of a warrior. A warrior of the High Guard.
“Shameless, isn’t it? High Guard coming my way, to defeat me in such manner,” Denvrik said to himself in a cold, dark voice.
“You’re not alone anymore- I can help defeat your enemies,” a rasp voice said. “People come by these valleys, and everyone I’ve encountered has accepted my help”.
Denvrik lifted his head up slightly and turned around. In front of him was a cloaked figure. “I bet everyone that had accepted you’re help is dead now. I don’t need an outsider’s help,” Denvrik fiercely said.
“I’ll make a deal with you. If you fight with my army against the High Guard, I’ll get you’re friend, Trance Gemini, to stay with you,” the ‘thing’ said.
“No, I’m not going to fight with your army. And I’m very capable of getting . . . Trance,” Denvrik refused.
As Denvrik walked on through the valley, he turned around and the ‘thing’ was gone, Denvrik could question who or what that ‘thing’ was; it was certainly not human.
Dylan was heading for the Mess Hall for a morning snack, just when Trance came running around the corner and smashing into him. She quickly helped Dylan up and then ran behind him.
“What’s going on here?” Dylan commanded.
“Rhade . . . is trying . . . to hurt me!” Trance said breathless. Trance turned around and sat against Dylan, trying to catch her breathing pace. Rhade came slamming around the corner of the corridor and then stopped at the sight of Dylan.
“Rhade, I believe that Trance has told me that you were trying to hurt her?”
“Dylan, how would you like it if you knew that the one you loved loves another person?” Rhade tried to make a point. Dylan turned around and looked at Trance hesitantly. Trance tried not to laugh, but she smirked a little, and then got up from behind Dylan.
“Trance, have something to say?” Dylan asked.
“Yes, sure I know someone else”-“There’s another guy!” Trance accidentally blurted out.
“See Dylan, there’s another one,” Rhade pointed out.
“No, Rhade . . . you’re the other one,” Trance said quietly.
Dylan sighed. ‘There’s always another one in these problems,’ Dylan thought.
Denvrik stared at the flexi in between his long, sharp, demon nails. The demon nails were a solid black all around. The picture was of him and Trance at the High Guard celebration of twenty-nine years. In the picture, Trance looked like her crimson self when she first changed places with her past self. Denvrik Divinity was the same demon as he was back then, but this time with a poison containing him. A poison that told him, ‘you must get Trance back, or else’. It didn’t have an effect on him yet, but soon the worst was to come.
The path where he walked from had no foot prints . . . even from him. Only his shadowing figure stood in a doomed, dead, burnt valley. He looked up into the sky and saw the sun disappearing behind the dark clouds that loomed over him.
“Darkness, come seal my vision of light, bring back the dead from their graves . . . destroy the village!” Denvrik Divinity yelled. ‘Bring back the one that I care about,’ Denvrik sadly thought, ‘help my poor aching soul from destroying itself’.
Rhade stared at the black surrounding with little white dots called ‘Space’. No understanding was found yet. As everything was lost in a whirl wind of time, nothing made sense. Life was as usual as not having a regular day.
“In the midst of time, everyone has a feeling of numbness, even I do,” Rhade said to himself.
“And so do I,” Trance said. The flames around her flared with light.
“I know about you and Denvrik, Trance. I know you love him, and he loves you. But what am I suppose to do when you are with Denvrik?” Rhade questioned.
“Well . . . okay, Rhade, you have me stuck here for a moment or two,” Trance admitted. The flames surrounding her went to a stop and faded. Rhade turned around as Trance came beside him. A promising look in her eyes told Rhade that he would never be alone while she existed. “You can trust me”.
Rhade felt a flow of emotions go through him . . . and some emotions that flowed through Trance. Trance smiled as Rhade began to understand.
“Trance, I now understand why you are here. Not just to stop the Abyss, you’re here” . . . “For you,” Trance told him.
Denvrik walked through the forest dragging an injured soul along with him. Passing through the last mile of the forest, the cloaked figure he had encountered before was right ahead.
“Divinity, people like you are dying, and yet you seem to survive. I am amazed, a little,” the ‘thing’ said.
“What do you want now, Aurelia?” asked Denvrik.
Aurelia stepped forward in front of him. “Your soul dying, more or less, blood,” she answered. Denvrik flung the now corpse over to Aurelia.
“Surely this will help you,” Denvrik said in a sarcastic tone.
“Sarcasm gets you nowhere, Divinity,” Aurelia said, and then she disappeared.
Denvrik Divinity stared at the view screen at a commonwealth base in the forest. The base was empty. The view screen showed the Andromeda floating in space. Denvrik closed his eyes. ‘I promise I’ll come back,’ thought Denvrik.
Trance was in her quarters when suddenly a blur of light came in front of her. The light had faded away and there standing in front of her was Denvrik.
“Denvrik, why’d you come here,” Trance asked.
“For you, don’t you remember, Gemini,” Denvrik answered.
“You know this isn’t a good time right now to be here,” Trance said to him.
Denvrik walked over to her and sat on the bed beside her. “I know,” he said.
Denvrik looked at Trance. Trance looked into his blue eyes and saw that he was grieving for her to come back to him. ‘Bad idea Trance,’ said a voice in her head.
“I can’t be with you anymore Denvrik, Rhade needs me,” Trance said to him.
“And so do I,” Denvrik replied.
“I hate it when you do that,” said Trance blankly.
