My lonely heart sings out

I see my future sinking

Children the world over start to sigh

Bring me your orphans

I'll give them a place to live

Bring me your lonely widows

I'll give them a place to cry

We build homes

In the wake of chaos

We build homes

To forget what happened to us

But I look in the water

And I see my future sinking

Men the world over start to die

Bring me your survivors

I'll give them a place to hide

Bring me your dead

I'll give them a place to lie

Woman stands strong

In the wake of chaos

In cold November

Children cry out to their mothers

And I look out in the cold

Eyes of envy for all the others

And in pain I remember

Women of the world start to sing

Bring me your starving

I'll give them warm food

Bring me your poor

I'll give them a gold ring

She stands in the field

In the wake of chaos

To heal what happened to me

And I look into her eyes

And I see my future rising
