Yeah, I decided to redo this chapter with more action and slightly better dialogue. I’m still working on chapter 4. Expect Dante and a familiar song in that one. Yep, I’m gonna try to write a chapter with song in it for the first time. Yeah for me!

Dante walks in my room and points a gun at me

Dante: Will you just hurry up!? I would like to make an appearance sometime this century in the story. Other than this one of course.

Me: Shut up before I put you in a yaoi fic!

Dante puts away the gun

Dante: Okay! I’ll back off! he leaves the room

Me: Sucker. I would never do that. Hahahahahahaha!!

Prologue: Birth of Evil

Year- 1010 A.D.

Location- Forest near Arni village

The rain began to pour hard as a man with blue hair, in a large raincoat, was running away from a man who was wearing large, spiky black armor that covered everything except his head. His head was covered by a dragon-like helmet and a visor over his eyes.

“Wazuki! Wazuki, wait!” yelled the armored man who was chasing him.

Wazuki finally stopped and turned to face his pursuer.

“Hiro…..I…”

“Why the hell did you do that!?” yelled Hiro in rage. Lightning flashed in the sky. “You killed your own son….my own nephew….WHY!?”

Wazuki then began to fall to his knees and held his head in his hands. He then began to speak and said, “Kill me.”

Hiro's eyes widened at what he just said. “WHAT!?” Lightning flashed through the sky once more.

“Please, Hiro!" Tears streamed down his face. "Kill me before he takes over again! I’m begging you!”

“Who’s he!?”

Before Wazuki could answer, he began screaming violently while holding his head.

“Hurry….before…” Wazuki then screamed again.

“WAZUKI!!”

Hiro then began to run towards Wazuki, but stopped when a dark aura began to surround his brother. Hiro could only watch as his brother began to transform into a feline demi-human holding a scythe and wearing a weird black and blue uniform.

“What have you done with Wazuki!?” Hiro took out a bloody red colored katana from his sheathe.

“You mean your brother?” said the demi-human, he picked up Wazuki's weapon, the Sea Swallow, and threw it into a tree, where it stuck to the bark. The mysterious demi-human held out his hand and a scythe materialized right before him. He stared at Hiro as he picked it up and smiled. “He’s gone.”

Hiro seethed through his teeth in rage. “You bastard! So you were controlling him!? You killed Serge!?” Lightning flashed through the dark sky once more as the rain began to pour down harder.

Lynx laughed. “Yes. That fool was a complete weakling.”

Hiro's grip on the sword became tighter. “Weakling!? I’ll show you who’s a weakling around here!”

Hiro then charged towards Lynx while swinging his katana, but the demi-human immediately blocked Hiro’s attack with his scythe and knocked Hiro down with his free hand, successfully breaking Hiro’s helmet, revealing a face similar to that of Wazuki.

“Why don’t you use your power of darkness?” He was brought his scythe down on Hiro’s head, but Hiro rolled out of way.

“If you really want to see it so badly…” His hair began to change from blue to black. His once ocean colored eyes began to turn into eyes as red as blood itself. And he started to smile evilly. “Then I guess I can show it to you….before I send you to hell!”

He held his weapon in the air. “Come forth, Zero!”

His katana then began to change into an average length sword with small yet sharp spikes on one edge and a carved picture of a dragon’s head spewing flames on the flat sides of the sword.

“Nice sword.” The demi-human got into an offensive stance.

“Care to see it up close?”

The two then clashed their weapons together as lightning raged on in the skies. Hiro rapidly hit the demi-human’s scythe with his sword. He managed to knock it out of his hands, but the demi-human knocked him down with a dark energy blast. Hiro quickly got up dashed towards the demi-human as his sword began to radiate with darkness.

“Slice and Dice!” Hiro went past the demon and was about to sheathe his weapon, thinking that the fight was over, but the demon ran towards Hiro and used its fist to hit Hiro in the face and send him flying into a pool of mud.

“Do you like getting knocked down?” laughed the demon.

Hiro slowly got up and glared at him. “Give them back…” Hiro ran towards the demon again as he was surrounded by a dark aura. “Give me back my brother and my nephew!”

Hiro hit the demi-human in the face with his fist. “GIVE THEM BACK!!” Hiro hit him again in the stomach and kneed him in the face, causing the demon to fly right through a tree.

The demon got up and smirked at Hiro, as if he was never even hurt by the onslaught. “How can I give back those who are already dead!?”

Hiro’s body started to glow even brighter as the rain lightning filled the skies once again. “No more games! Zero Hour!” Hiro dashed towards the demi-human and was about to knock him into the air using his fist, but the demi-human caught it and Hiro was unable to move.

“This move must put a lot of stress on the body. You can’t even move another muscle, can you?”

Hiro proved him wrong by throwing another fist at him, but it too was caught by the demi-human.

Hiro struggled within the demi-human's grasp. “Who the hell are you!?”

“My name is Lynx, the greatest of the late Chronos’ creations!” Lynx pulled Hiro close to him and kneed him in the stomach. Lynx let go of Hiro and watched him fly through the air.

Lynx held his hand out and pointed at Hiro as a cloud of darkness appeared behind him. “Feral Cats!” Several dark cats lunged at Hiro and slashed him several times until Hiro fell back into the ground.

“Is that all you got?” taunted Lynx.

Hiro slowly got back up and was sagging. “No…” He held out his sword and pointed it at Lynx. “I’m far stronger than you realize.” Dark energy surrounded the sword and Hiro and Hiro lunged at Lynx once again. “Demonic Slash!”

Hiro stuck Lynx with everything he had, but Lynx caught his sword with his hand. Lynx threw him right through a tree and started to laugh.

“Why would the dragon’s choose someone as weak as you!?”

Hiro quickly got back up, but seemed to be in sagging again. “What the hell!?” His voice also sounded very weak. “You should be dead!” He brought up his sword and held his free hand in front of Lynx. “Try this! Darkness Wave!”

A huge wave of dark energy then appeared in front of Hiro and was heading towards Lynx. Lynx raised his hand and began to absorb Hiro’s attack.

Hiro sighed heavily. “You gotta be kidding me!”

“You’re starting to bore Me.” said Lynx as put away his scythe, “Allow me to finish this.”

Lynx then raised his hand at Hiro and he saw dark energy coming from it. Lynx raised his hand in the air and a dark energy ball appeared above Lynx, crackling with dark energy and lightning.

“Forever Zero!”

He then threw the dark energy ball at Hiro. Hiro began to scream in pain as it hit him. He then collapsed on the now muddy ground. He was barely even conscious.

Lynx walked over to him and looked at him. “Why would you fight a hopeless battle?”

Hiro looked at Lynx with rage. “Because…you might…no…you will…kill...again…..I can’t…let that…happen…again.”

“Pathetic human.” Lynx took out his scythe. “I will finally put an end to your suffering!”

Lynx was about to strike, but was knocked down by a young man wearing a black cloak. Hiro’s eyes widened and he tried to get up.

“Kazuma!”

The young man turned around and looked at Hiro. “You okay?”

Hiro ignored him and stood up as best as he could in his current condition. “Run away…you idiot.”

Kazuma chuckled. “Since when do you give up so easily?”

“I told you…to get out of here…you idiot. Get Janus…hurry…”

Kazuma turned his back on him. “No way. I know I may not be able to kill this freak…” Kazuma took out 5 shurikens from his pocket. “But I have to try! This guy took Wazuki and there’s no way he’s getting away with it!”

Lynx got up and picked up his scythe. “You should listen to your elders, child.”

“Don’t talk with that despicable tongue of yours!” Kazuma threw the shurikens at Lynx.

Lynx teleported out of way and reappeared behind Kazuma. Kazuma quickly noticed and hit him with a roundhouse kick. Lynx was knocked down onto the floor.

A dark aura surrounded Kazuma and the image of the Grim Reaper appeared behind him. “Time to end this.” He took out 2 small ninja swords. “Reaper’s Strike!”

“KAZUMA! DON’T DO IT!” yelled Hiro, but it was too late.

Kauma dashed towards Lynx and attempted to hit him with a powerful slash, but he got up and caught Kazuma by his throat. He started to smile as threw him against Hiro, successfully knocking both of them down.

“Two wielders of darkness are absolutely powerless against me!” Lynx began to laugh and was about to end their lives. “Any more interruptions before I put an end to this?”

“Yeah.” Said a female’s voice. “Aqua Shot!”

A large blast of water came flying at Lynx incredibly fast and went right through him. Lynx feel on one knee and was breathing heavily.

He picked his head up and surveyed the area with his eyes. “Who’s there!?”

A woman with long blue hair and blue eyes stepped forward.

“Crystal…the traitor.” Lynx got up and glared at her. “We’ll have to finish this later then. I’ll enjoy making you all suffer!” Lynx vanished without a trace.

Crystal walked over to Hiro and Kazuma and helped them up. “Are you two okay?”

“Good.” Said Hiro with sarcasm and anger in his voice. “My body feels like it’s been stomped on by dragons and my brother and my nephew are gone, but other than that, I feel peachy!”

“So it is true.” Crystal put her hand on Hiro’s shoulder. She frowned. “I’m sorry.”

Hiro looked at her with his eyes watering, but he refused to shed those tears. “No…I’m the one who should apologize. All of this is my fault.”

“You can blame yourself later.” Said Kazuma as he picked up his weapons. “Besides, we got to find out what this guy is up to.”

“You’re right.” Hiro’s sad face was now filled with determination. “Kazuma, try to find him and find out what he is planning, but don’t let him find you. Got it, ninja boy?”

“No problem.” Kazuma looked back at Hiro as he walked away. “And last time I checked, I’m a hero, not a ninja.” Kazuma then vanished.

Crystal and Hiro stood in the rain silently for a few minutes, looking at each other, trying to find the right words to say to each other.

Hiro finally broke the silence. “Go to Arni and tell Marge what happened here. I…just want to be alone for awhile.”

Crystal looked down at the ground. “Understood.” She then gave Hiro a hug and he began to blush slightly.

'Since when does she show these kinds of affection?' he thought.

Crystal then ran off towards Arni after breaking the hug.

After she left him alone, Hiro fell to ground on his knees and cried. “He will pay…I’ll make sure of it!”

He looked up at the sky, noticing that it had stopped raining.

“DO YOU HEAR ME, LYNX!?” he yelled at the top of his voice. “I WILL MAKE YOU PAY! BLOOD FOR BLOOD!”

Author’s Notes: Now that’s much better! I should’ve done this weeks ago!

By the way, I do not have anything against yaoi fics nor do I read them. So fans of yaoi, do not be offended by that comment.
