I've been thinking about this story ever since the episode where House faked brain cancer. I just never posted it until now.
Disclaimer: I wish I could own House.
House sat in his recliner, swiveling from side to side, and talking to Wilson. Who was sitting at House's desk. House was talking to him about his latest case, which he was quite sure he'd figured out. So House assumed that the rest of his day was going to be spent avoiding Cuddy, who would want him down in the Clinic. Which both House and Wilson knew that wasn't going to happen.
Neither of the two doctors noticed a young woman standing outside of House's office. She had been standing there for about ten minutes now, and wasn't quite sure what she wanted to do. Well, she did. She wanted that her mother, who just died, to not have spilled out information about her past, while on morphine. She had much rather had her mother taken that information to the grave. Granted the woman didn't care that her mother told her this information, she'd much rather not to have to drive for almost three hours from Baltimore to grant her mother's request. Well, request of her oldest daughter.
The young woman sighed and just brust through the door of House's office. She looked towards Wilson, "Dr House?"
"No, I'm Dr Wilson, that's Dr House." Wilson said, as he pointed to House.
The young woman didn't look too surprised, "Dr House I-" She was cut off.
"Are you here to serve me papers? Am I being sued?" He asked rudely.
What? No." She replied.
House thought for a moment, "Am I being Punk'd?"
"No." The woman replied, quickly growing impatience with House.
"Then get out of my office." He told her.
Wilson scolded him, "House."
"No." She shot back.
"Did a Dr Cuddy send you up here from the Clinic?" House asked skeptically.
"Who?" The woman asked.
"Dark hair, low cut top, giant ass." House described her, in his typical fashion.
"No...I'm here for my mother. Who wanted me to see you." She explained.
"Sorry, I've already reached my patient quota this week." House replied sarcastically.
"She's dead." The woman retorted.
House shrugged, "Well then you've just helped me complete my useless visit quota for the month. Hey, thanks."
"Look, I'm not here to see you as a patient. I just need to ask you something." She explained, becoming fed up with House.
"Fine, what?" House asked hasitly.
"Does the night of October 24, 1985 in Baltimore mean anything to you?" She asked him bluntly.
House thought a moment, "No. Now get out of my office."
"House." Wilson scolded him again. "Please continue...what did you say you're name was?"
"I didn't. And it's Mia. Well that night you conceived a child with a Patrica Harrington, my mother." She finally got out.
Wilson nearly fell out of chair, "House...are you going to say anything?"
"Why did you come? So what if your mom asked you to come see me on her death bed? You didn't have to do it, it's not like she could of done anything about it if you didn't." House asked rudely.
"House!" Wilson shouted.
"No it's fine. I geuss she didn't want me to be invisible anymore." Mia said with a shrug.
And that's my random oneshot, hoped you liked it.
