Why Do We Exist

“Why do we exist?” Osaka asked.

“Huh?” Tomo asked back.

“I said, why do we exist, why are we here?” Osaka asked again.

Tomo just stared at the Osaken girl. “Wow I never really thought of that.” he turned to Kagura. “Yo, Kagura, why do we exist?”

Kagura walked up to them. “I don’t know, maybe because if we didn’t exist we wouldn’t be here.” she responded.

“Then if we weren’t here, then where would we be?” Osaka asked.

Tomo just got into a thinking position. “Then I guess we would be nowhere.” she responded.

Kagura also got into a thinking position. “Then that means that right now we’re nowhere.”

“Exactly.” Tomo answered.

“I can’t be nowhere right now.” Osaka said in a nervous tone. “I have to meet Chiyo-chan somewhere else later today.”

“I’m sorry Osaka, but if we’re nowhere, then you can’t be somewhere.” Kagura answered.

“But hold on, we have to be somewhere to be nowhere on.” Tomo quickly said.

“That’s right.” Osaka and Kagura responded.

“So where is this somewhere that we are nowhere on?” Kagura asked.

“Elsewhere.” Tomo answered.

“I see.” Osaka responded. “So I guess we have to be Elsewhere to be somewhere, nowhere, right?”

“Now you’re getting it.” Tomo said as she gave a thumbs up.

Osaka gave a sigh of relief.

Chiyo walked up to the Bonkuras. “Osaka-san, are you ready to go to the mall with me?” she asked.

“Yes I am Chiyo-chan, let’s go nowhere.” Osaka responded which caused Chiyo-chan to get a confused look.

Short perhaps, but it’s still kind of fun to see the Bonkuras turn a simple question into ridiculous theories, so until then, take care.
