Summary: SongFic. What if the Doctor died during the Time War? One shot.
Planet Hell
Denying the lying
A million children fighting
For lives in strife
For hope beyond the horizon
Gallifrey was coming down to an almighty end. Time-Lords and Ladies from all houses fought in a blood-filled and hated battle against the Daleks and all things evil and consuming. They covered, and filled, the stars with their plasma beams and battle cries. The great Time War had been raging on for many months now. President Romana scouted out her best troopers to clear the Daleks from the Capitol, but her plan failed. Leela had already died in the battle grounds alongside with her husband. She tried protecting her child from the nightmares that came to haunt them. President Romana soon joined the deceased savage.
A dead world
A dark path
Not even crossroads to choose from
All the blood red carpets before me
Behold this fair creation of God
The Doctor summoned up his past incarnations, to help him end this war, once and for all. One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six and Seven joined their present incarnation for the conflict. Even though it was life threatening risk to take, but it was the only plan he had left. There were no reinforcements left on the empty planet, except the last source of power from the six Time-Lords. The precedential Doctors went about their separate ways, to destroy the last remains of the Davros’s inexorable army. Six and Seven came face to face with several Daleks lurking around the Capitol. Four stayed with Five, both guarding each other encase more Daleks came by their way. Eight, Three, Two and One headed for the central part of Gallifrey, an idea slipped in the present Doctor’s head.
My only wish to leave behind
All the days of the earth
An everyday hell of my kingdom come
“This way!” Four cried, holding onto Five’s upper arm, and dragging his older self down the corridors. Five complained that his grip was fearsome and tight. At the same time he didn’t blame his young form for being scared out of his mind. Both Time-Lords were terrified and wished to go back to their timelines, pretending that none of this ever happened. Four was afraid encase his fear will come true. It’s not just the Daleks that made his mind and body tremble, his sanity was extremely valuable to him. Their fingers and foreheads sweated uncontrollably.
“This is the end.” Four chocked.
Five looked up at him, giving him the expression that everything will turn out grand. “Don’t say that. There’s still some hope for us left, we just need to give it a little more time, that’s all.” Five spoke. “We better get going, before they find us here.” He patted Four on the shoulder and led the way. Four just simply nodded.
The first rock thrown again
Welcome to hell, little Saint
Mother Gaia in slaughter
Welcome to paradise, soldier
Six and Seven stepped out from what was left from the battle ground. They dusted down their clothes and spluttered when more dust and dirt entered their mouths. Dead Daleks and Time-Lords lay scattered across the floor of the Panoptican. Seven pushed a handkerchief up against his mouth and nose, so he can block out the vulgar smell of death that lingered in the air. Six kicked some of the Daleks pieces away from their path. Even though they’re dead, they can still feel and hear the endless crying and screaming of their people and the war machines.
“The musky smell of death sends terrible shivers up one’s spine.” Six murmured. “The cause of this war to happen was our fault. Well, technically, it was his fault.” Six pouted out angrily, with a hint of fear in his tone.
“What do you mean it’s his fault?” Seven questioned.
“He should have destroyed the Daleks when he had the chance. It’s entirely Four’s fault. If he did kill them, none of this would ever have happened.” He rubbed his hands together. “Let’s go.”
Seven grabbed onto his shoulder and pulled him back slightly. “Four has morals, just the same way as we all do.” He spluttered furiously. “What he done was an act of self-conscience, he made the right choice. Four is a good man; he wouldn’t kill anything in cold blood, even if he were asked to.”
Six shrugged his shoulder violently. “That flamboyant young fool made a fatal era in his part.” He stormed off and left Seven on his own.
My first crynever-ending
All life is to fear for life
You fool, you wanderer
You challenged the gods and lost
The end was drawing in nearer, Eight felt it tingling in his bones. The curly silvered haired Doctor stood beside him, looking over the horizon and watching the blazing city turn into rubble. Eight bit the bottom of his lip and crossed his arms over his chest. The plan was all set; he just needed to wait until his incarnations make it out of there alive, still in one piece. Three had been keeping a sharp look out for anymore Daleks coming their way. He moved away from the Eighth Doctor and settled down in a quiet place on his own. The thought of Romana and Leela dying in front of him was horrendous.
I will avenge your death, Romana and Leela. The Doctor thought to himself, he lulled his head forward and closed his eyes tight; pieces of his long curly hair fell over his face. They will pay for what they’ve done to you. I’ll make sure of thatHe opened his eyes again and looked at the burning building. Hurry Doctors, there’s not much time left.
“We’ll have to go soon, old chap.” Three said from behind.
“I know, I know,” Eight stuttered nervously. “I just hope they’re safe. Give it a few more moments, if they don’t return, we’ll have to go down there ourselves and find them, even if it means tearing the place apart.” He looked sideways and Three. “I’m not giving up hope so easily, and I’m not going to lose this battle over with the Daleks.”
“Of course not,” Three smirked. “I believe the rest of me, are fine.”
Eight nodded. “Let’s just keep thinking that, shall we?”
“It’s the best we can do for now.” Two answered.

“They’re getting closer!” Five shouted.
“Take cover!” Four shouted after him and ran down the corridors and out into the wide open space outside the Capitol.
Daleks came streaming down after the renegade Time-Lords; playing a game of cat and mouse with them. Four was shaking with fear when the words ‘exterminate’ echoed in the air. They were becoming a dominate plague. Every Time-Lord and Lady living, were now dead by the time disease. Four and Five spotted the two Doctors standing on the cliff; they smiled weakly and ran up the side of the slope as fast as they could. The Daleks were getting closer by the minute, they could hearing them screaming for the Doctors to come back.
“We’re nearly there, just a few more pulls and we’re there.” Four said.
As soon as they’ve reached the top, Four helped the older Doctor up from the edge and onto his feet. “You alright?”
Five giggled. “That’s a lucky escape. Come, we better join the others.” He licked his lips and wiped away the dirt from his cricket trousers and jacket. Four did the same with his clothing and scarf. “Let’s go. I think I see Eight, Three, Seven, Two, One and Six already there.”
“Oh goodie.” Four felt relieved.

Six sat down on the ground, Seven had been chatting to Three about the plan being set. Eight was alone and miserable, he was glad when he heard the shouting sounds coming from the Fourth and Fifth Doctor. He smiled and watched his incarnations make a dash up towards them.
“Are the plans all set?” One wondered.
“Yes, I made sure that the explosives detonate in a pacific time.” Eight looked at this golden coloured pocket watch. “Speaking of which, we best be going. I know it’s a great sacrifice we’re making, but we can’t let the Daleks reign the universe.”
“We understand.” Seven nodded, turned around. He stopped to look at another fleet of Daleks coming their way. “Look out!” He shouted. They all turned around to spot the floating Daleks in front of them.
Welcome Down
To my
Planet Hell
“Do not move, do not move, do not move!!” The Daleks repeated themselves. “You are the Doctors, do not move!”
The Doctors stayed close to each other. Daleks upon Daleks moved in for the kill, they surrounded the Time-Lords in a circular form. They held onto each other’s hands, holding onto one another and not daring to let go. They starred deep into the stalkers of the Daleks and all they see is a ruthless killer with no emotion, no sense of right or wrong, just empty machines with no morality or compassion for other life forms. Four broke away from his past and future incarnations, he took a deep breath and stepped forwards.
“What are you doing, you idiot?” Six barked, the Dalek instantly silenced the Time-Lord.
Four licked his lips. “I stopped your kind before, I can do it again.” He murmured.
“You were the one that stopped us for a thousand years. You will be exterminated for it!” The Dalek shouted angrily. “EXTERMINATE!” In an instant, the Dalek shot the Fourth Doctor in the chest, instantly turning him into dust. “This will be a glorious execution. The Daleks are supreme!”
Five dropped to his knees and ran his fingers through the ashes of the late Time-Lord. He gritted his teeth and cried.
“Emotion is useless.” Another Dalek said. “EXTERMINATE THEM ALL!”

Sarah, Harry stood outside Alastair’s home and watched as the snow came falling down gently. Alastair held out his hand and looked at the small piece lying on his head. “This isn’t snow.” He said.
“Then what is it?” Harry wondered.
“I don’t know? And I hate to find out.” Alastair wiped away the dirt from his hands.
Sarah rubbed her hands up and down the upper part of her arms. “Oh, I hope the Doctor’s alright.”
Harry smiled. “Sure he is, old thing.” He shook his head. “I have this awful thumping sound in my head.”
“Same here.” Sarah raised her eyebrow.
“You know, I have the feeling as well.” Alastair rubbed his head with a hand. “I think we better get inside, don’t you? Maybe a cup of tea will do us good.”
Harry and Sarah nodded; both followed their old friend back inside the house. Sarah looked up at the sky once more and smiled. “I bet you’re enjoying yourself up there.”
