Front Row Seats

I sit in the front row so the professor can make a quick example of me when I mouth off.

Like today.

He's torturing me. Punishing me, despite my Pureblood status. It happens every day.

I'm beginning to think that the word 'demon' is in the word 'demonstration' for a reason.

I think of Harry.

He's here in this room. He's always with me.

He isolated himself in order to protect me.

I think only of him as the dear professor tortures me.

The pain lessens, the convulsions quiet, and I think that he has pulled his wand away.

A cry of outrage.

I open my eyes to find the wand still in my face.

He has not stopped, but the pain has.

Harry has saved me again.
