“The scroll!”
“I have it!”
“Give it here.”
“NO it will only endanger you.”
“The same goes for you.”
“Better me than you.”
With a shrill cry into the still darkness they were both deteriorated from the seconds they spent communicating, from the seconds she used to try and keep her partner safe but he wouldn’t allow it. He wanted her safe.
Leaping into the air she jumped from tree branch to tree branch, avoiding all the kunai tailing behind her. Over her head, past her legs, gracing her shoulder they twirled and danced with the silent wind that kept her air born as she flew higher from tree branch to tree branch. She had to device an attack, something to keep the weapons from flying in her directions. But, at least she was making sure that they kept away from her partner, he had the scroll after all.
Looking behind her she counted off eight of them. She didn’t even know who they were, but they were simply after the scroll. What ever the contents of the scroll, it was highly important since they sent fifteen well trained ninjas to dispatch of them in order to obtain the scroll. Shaking her head, she sent a small amount of chakra to her hands and feet. Making a clone of herself she allowed the replica to move forward while she side stepped to the branch on the other side. She remained motionless, allowing all the ninja’s to zoom past her.
She waited until they were a good distance away to perform her Jutsu. “Sōshōryū,” she called after drawing out blood from her thumb. Two great dragons rose from the scroll, swirling into the air and around each other. Jumping in between both dragons she called forth all possible weapons, all directed towards the enemies who ran straight forward with their backs to her, clueless to the shards of weapons raining in their direction. She watched as hundreds of weapons inserted themselves into the running figures, rendering them motionless with the impact. Their blood ran like little streams down the back.
She repeated the Jutsu again, but this time instead of wiping out the remaining four she managed to get at two. The first glance she managed out of them was when they were surrounded moments earlier, proving that they were tough guys. Now, it was that she either got stuck with the lame excuses of ninjas while her partner had a better deal or they were nothing but pathetic excuse. ‘Pathetic,’ she thought, when one of the two tried shielding himself, but didn’t manage blocking the objects zooming in his direction. ‘Two,’ she thought jumping down and running towards them, her brand new katana in hand, ready to make some heads role. In fact, there were still three, but the guy who tried blocking the attack from earlier was barely standing.
‘Let me help him.’
She ran in his direction, but zoomed past him and stabbed one of the reaming two who were in perfect health. She got a good aim at his chest and pierced through his heart. A cry echoed through the forest as the man clutched at the katana, trying desperately to take it out, but in the process injured his hand with the sharp blade.
She turned just in time to avoid her face getting splattered with the remains of his blood, when a shurikane came whizzing in his direction, it pieced into his neck. She turned to see that her remaining opponents lay motionless on the ground.
“It’s a decoy.”
“What?”
Looking up, she noticed her partner standing before her. He looked exactly as she left him. Not one scratch on him. She looked at his straight face, but he seemed to be frantic. His eyes would never look at her. He seemed to be doing that for the past few days they spent together. He was always looking ahead when he spoke to her, but now that they had been ambushed, he’s using the excuse to avoid her gaze.
“There are about fifteen other ninja’s out there. The first batch was a simple way for them to calculate who they were up against. Did you use any sort of move they would be able to counter attack.”
“The usual.” She was still looking at him and she wanted to giggle, she could see and at the same time not see that he was looking at her. It was weird, but even though it was puzzling she felt his gaze on her. It had recently turned into a game for her. How long could he try avoiding her gaze? He had done it for a full conversation last night and when his eyes were ready to betray him he decided to go into the tent...something about retrieving the scroll.
She knew he liked her, it wasn’t that unnoticeable. People were already commenting, but she didn’t have to pay attention to any of the gossip going around. She knew him best that she knew what he was feeling. She felt the same for him. She really likes him, in fact she loves him, but at times she’s discouraged. With the stoic and poised figure that he always resembled, it left little doubts to confirm that perhaps he did like her. But that was the case a few years ago, it was different now.
She didn’t know what it was that brought about this change, but she was hopping that he finally realized his feelings. She didn’t want the excuses of maturing and turning more into a lady to be the turning point for him. It was true, she was doing things she never thought possible. In a way it wasn’t that impossible, but as a child she told herself she would not turn into those obsessed maniacs she calls friends.
She was told she had blossomed into a beautiful young lady and if it weren’t for the self restrain she picked up from her team mate she would have castrated more than half the male population that admire her physique. If anything, she wanted him to like her...to lover her for the person she’s always been, not the person she turned into. Her personality has always remained the same, but with the years she was gifted with a beautiful body and talents in the ninja art to back herself up. These days it made it more interesting for her to act innocents and bring out her tarnished behavior when the boys least expected it.
She smiled when he turned around from her, he was obviously inspecting the area for any threats, but she knew the true reason. She was affecting him and she liked the effect. She could have played naive with the girls or told herself that she was still that pure and innocent girl. But for a person who enjoys the company of a male friend and who’s spent her junior days with them, she knows the effects a woman could conjure from a man. She never thought she would enjoy such things, she always felt discouraged for the salvation of her female friends when they started talking about all the things they’ve purposely done to a guy, none of which were adequate for a proper girl. At least she knew one of them still kept sane from the other two lunatics...well from one in particular.
She was going to innocently hug him from behind, but that was cut short when he turned around and pushed her into the ground, him on top of her. He still wouldn’t even look at her. At the moment she wished for nothing better than to be able to laugh at him, laugh at the always positive and reassured boy she watched grow into a man. She heard him say something about ‘they’re close’ by and in that moment she was brought back into the crucial point.
“We could have planned an escape you know, at least tried to make it to shelter,” she told him.
“Yeah, but that’s useless. Their chakra is far much stronger than the guys we just fought. Besides, they don’t know that we know they’re here.”
“Oh,” she said, her voice sounding a little mischievous.
“So all we have to do as act like we don’t know they are here?”
“Correct.”
She smirked mentally and at the same time she couldn’t help but shake her head in disappointment with her self. She was never the type of girl to suggest anything other than training and the casual eating out. “So doing something like this, would make them think that our mind is only on ourselves?
He looked at her questioning.
‘Finally.’
She answered him by wrapping her arms around him, around his mid back. Since she was lying on the floor and feeling daring she took the risk of cradling him between her legs. She parted her legs, so that instead of him fully lying on top of her his lower portion laid intimately between her. She felt him tense and use his arms that lay at her side to pull himself away, but she wrapped her legs around him and hugged him tighter. She burrowed her face in his shoulder and neck, inhaling his honey-suckle scent.
Not wanting him to think of her like the vixen she was feeling, she asked him, “Where are they hiding.” She was trying to give him the indication that she was purely doing this for their sake and not because she wanted him.
“They are surrounding this area,” he whispered to her.
She giggled and he couldn’t help but feel confused. In truth she was making the scene a lot more intimate. His smooth voice created a tingly sensation with in her that she giggled giving their audience an intimate gesture. “They seem to be enjoying our show,” she told him, moving back and flashing him a smile. She could see all the doubt in his clear eyes. “Act like you are too,” she whispered in his ear, pleased when he shuddered. “I have a plan.”
He complied and for the first time did something daring, something he always wanted to do to her, but reframed from. As he ran a hand up her encasing leg, he wished that instead of the material of her long pants he were touching her bare legs. He laid his head in between her shoulder and neck while letting his hand continue with their journey upwards.
His breath on her neck almost tore a moan out of her throat, but she caught herself. His hands continued up her leg, she was surprised he was actually doing this too. She felt more surprised when his hands changed direction and moved up the back of her leg, cupping her bottom before leaving to lay his hand at her waist, his hand venturing underneath her vest.
She smirked to herself. ‘Never thought he could be naughty.’
Wanting his hands to keep venturing upwards, but needing to get out of this sticky situation they were in she whispered to him. “Hover over me.”
She felt his confusion, without a single word or movement. “Trust me. It will work.”
He moved back and hovered over her with one hand, the other lying motionless under her vest, on her stomach. She took the zipper of his vest and zipped it down, he gave her a puzzled look and she only smirked at him. Her hands were instantly on him, on his chest and feeling his abs through the material of his shirt. “Bend down lower.” As if in a trance he did so, his opened vest flaring around her sides.
In an instant she was making hand signals and he couldn’t help but smirk at her. “You’re not wasting time,” he told her. He didn’t even notice when she pulled out the kunai, cut her finger or when she took out a scroll. She chanted the magic words as a whisper, making it seem like she was saying something to him. “Keep messing around with me,” she told him.
He did. This time he moved without hesitation, it was for her plan to work out he told him self though. He gave her a kiss on the cheek and then let his lips glide over the smoothness of her skin, his lips reaching over her neck. Their audience was too caught up with the duo that none of them noticed the two dragons sliding through the dark forest floor. There was little light to see through the darkness and the show that they were putting up caught them right were she needed them.
Improving her technique so that she could use it in any situation without revelation, she let her hands fly out from underneath his vest. Weapons of all sort moved in all directions, her hands waving in the air to try and get at least a few injuries on them. She was careful however, she didn’t want to harm the man on top of her if any of the objects came in her direction.
When the raining weapons were sizzling down to a decent amount he jumped back, one of his own shurikanes dancing in the air, until it reached its partner. The shurikane instantly killed the man which came flying in his direction from above. ‘Five,’ they instantly thought as five other men flew out from their hiding spots. ‘Five more,’ he thought as he sensed the others hiding place.
The young girl instantly jumped up. She already caught on, the first five killed where the useless opponents, the ones in display were the average ones, and the other five remaining were the tough ones. She was a lot more interested in those than the men standing before her. All she had to do was pull that stunt again and they would be gone, but she only had two other scrolls for that technique.
They were both going for the same approach for this batch, no chakra. The only thing of good use would be weapons and the use of taijutsu. Her partner advanced first, zooming past her and to the enemy who was racing towards her. Their kunai clashed against one another. She was able to tell that this was a piece of cake for him. While the guy struggled against her partner, he used little strength to keep the guy’s arm moving in his direction.
In a blind flashing move he cut the guys usage of chakra and he was gone. ‘He’s mine,’ she grinned as she picked up several weapons off the floor and threw them in his direction. They both moved too fast for the poor guy that by the time he noticed anything two shurikanes were wedged into his skin, each in his arms while another one was whizzing in his direction, aiming for his forehead. When she turned around to deal with another guy, she heard his heavy body drop onto the floor.
-
She could hear him breathing hard, two more to go and they were through. The fight had been going for nearly twenty minutes between the last reaming enemies. It had taken time to defeat the other guys but they were done. She felt fatigue catching on. Taijutsu was proving pointless since they were equally matched, and genjutsu would be pointless. The guys seemed smart enough since they were able to devise a plan to drain them out, good thing their method was chakra for last.
He was getting aggravated; the fight was going on for far too long. His fists didn’t even manage to land a hard enough injury and he wasn’t able to put his fighting style to good use yet. While she didn’t make any mistakes of showing of her move, he did so earlier when they fought the first set of guys. It was stupid thought, because a kunai was enough. His left shoulder was bleeding badly from both the katana and shurikane that managed to graze him there while taking his partner’s injury.
“Chakra,” he told her. They had gone on too long holding back on their chakra, only using small amounts of it. With blazing chakra in both of their hands they charged forward. She was able to get a direct hit on his chest, making him cough out blood with the force of the hand. He was able to get past the entire blockage and connect his hand to his ribcage, making his opponents wince in pain. They were moving a lot slower than before, it would be in a moment timed before they lay lifeless on the battle ground and they could continue with their journey to Konoha.
Not holding back he called out, “Hakke Hyaku Nijūhachi Shō,” his palms raining all over the man’s body. Each blow making the man shout in agony with the force his opponent’s fist made. With a stab at his heart he was dead, his body not capable of handling another beating.
Turning around he caught sight of his female partner doubling over clutching at her stomach, he was able to determine that she was badly hurt there and it was her opponent’s fault. Anger flared in great quantities. With the little chakra he had left he called out, “Hakke Rokujūyon Shō,” his palms raining on the single man with less speed than it did on his now dead partner.
His vision blurred and in a flashing instant his female partner was holding him in her arms. He saw the worry imprinted on her face as she looked at his wound and then at his face. He saw her throw her remaining weapon at the man and heard a thud, it was over.
-
I turn off the lights
So you can’t see my eyes
“Neji?”
Opening his eyes, he peered at chocolate orbs, strands of hair falling into the face of his caller. He looked at her worried face and offered a small smile. He made to move from her but she only clutched at his uninjured shoulder, telling him to keep down. She helped him ease down onto the ground, wanting to inspect his wound.
“I have no chakra,” he told her.
She was surprised he was conscience with no chakra. She looked at his clear eyes, and then at his wound. She was planning on healing it as best as she could until they reached Konoha.
“Don’t use your chakra, you’re wounded.”
“It doesn’t matter, I managed to heal myself, and it was nothing by the way.”
“Don’t, you might need it while I’m out.”
“But...”
“No Tenten.”
She really wanted to heal him, at least half way. “Okay, but wait until you fall asleep...” She told him in a disappointed voice, earning a smirk from him.
“I thought I was going to pass out,” she told him while lying beside him. She felt his fingers intertwine with hers, a careless act on his part since he was so out of it. Her heart started to pound in her chest, but she didn’t try to make a great deal out of a simple gesture.
“You worried me back there,” he told her.
“How?” She asked, turning on her side to face him.
“That little show.” He turned his head to her and watched her blush.
“Can’t I at least clean the wound?” She asked him, wanting to avoid the topic. Receiving a nod she kneeled by him, removing her hand from his, disappointment washing over her. However, she didn’t want his wound to get infected. “I lost my katana,” she told him as she tried removing his vest.
“I saw it by the bushes.”
“Great.”
He observed her radiant smile.
Neji looked up at her as she concentrated on his wound. He noticed a cut by her neck and how one of her buns came out lose, her hair cascading down her back. “Take the other one out.”
“Huh?”
My fingers are crossed
While I promise the world to you
And I feel like I’m walking on air
Believing a lie when I thought that you cared
“...the other bun.” Tenten felt heat rush to her cheeks, she looked at his face. His eyes were still the same white they have always been, but she could read them this time and it made her blush. She complied, removing the pins from the one perfect bun. Shaking her hair out she gave him a smile afterwards, her heart pounding wildly in her chest with the look he was giving her. She reached for a kunai and without shame she took of her vest and took of her tank top, putting on the vest as quickly as she could afterwards.
She wasn’t ashamed of who she was or what she looked like, she must be something in order for him to look at her in the way that he did. He had seen her close to nude before so that didn’t bother her; it was what he thought of her that did. She had no clue of what he really thought other than small clues. He hadn’t seen anything by the way; her wrappings that bound her breast reached all the way down, stopping several inches below her belly-button.
Cutting up the shirt, she carefully sliced through the material of his fishnet shirt, cutting out the sleeves and leaving a thin strap that held it together on that side. She then took her gourd and dabbed at the wound with water. Neji didn’t even flinch; his gaze was fixed on hers. She made sure to wrap it carefully, but tight enough so it wouldn’t bleed.
“There.” She said moving back to examine her work, but Neji’s arm circled around her waist keeping her close. “Why’d you do it?” He asked her, his tone serious.
“Do what?” She had a vague idea of what he was talking about. She had been doing it for the past two days, teasing him in the smallest ways she could. But she had taken it farther than the hand touching or laying her head on his shoulder like she had done ever so innocently before. She was confused right now, not emotionally wise because she knew she loved him. She didn’t know however, how she was supposed to be feeling right now. A side of her felt daring and then another felt slightly embarrassed. Every time she did something to try and catch his attention she would feel positive of the outcomes. This was Neji, the Neji she loved and knew. She always felt comfortable around him. Taking of her vest and shirt in front of him proved this enough.
They were in their early twenties and both ANBU. They both remained in contact through out the years. Their training schedule hadn’t changed much and they still spent time together. Tenten always felt comfortable around him, it didn’t bother her if what she did in front of him was proper lady like, and he never judged her. He even knew he held a special place in her heart that was more than friends, but he didn’t know how strong her emotions for him were. She didn’t want any of it to get in the way of their friendship.
“Do you think you could stand?”
“I’m not immobile,” he told her.
With that response and the tone of his voice she could tell that he wasn’t please with her constant change of topic. “Great, that means we could cover another mile or so.”
“How much do I mean to you?”
I can tell that I’m falling in love with you
Bruises prove it’s real
I can tell that I’m falling in love with you
Bruises prove it’s real
“Come on Neji, we should get up.” She had waited for a moment like this, to tell him what he meant to her, but the thought was a lot simpler than the reality she was living. As soon as he asked the questions she froze for about thirty seconds, his eyes captivating her. She couldn’t stand looking at him any more that she looked to the side and tried moving, but his arm wouldn’t let her move and when she tried again he flipped her underneath him.
You’re on pictures
With smiles that convince
You can reach all the things
For the first time in her life she felt uncomfortable. He was very serious right now; she could feel it with the intensity of his eyes. The way he was holding her wasn’t that of a friendly embraces he had given her in the past, it was lot more intimate. The embrace was similar to earlier, but she could feel his possessiveness. She didn’t know what to tell him. She never fully told him how she felt about him for fear of loosing everything they shared and had.
That you’d love but can’t give to me
You chase all the things you can’t have
And I am a diamond closed tight in your hand
Of everything in the world the only thing that scared her the most was loosing his friendship. The uncomfortable silence and misjudgment was shattered along the years, but it seemed the uneasiness that once was had a way of haunting her. For brief seconds she turned her head to look to the side, avoiding his gaze. In that instance flashes of all the times they spent together flooded her eyes...Gai-sensei, Lee...him, her team-mates.
‘I guess my secret hoping that one of my teammates would become more than that should end today.’ She bravely thought, turning her face in his direction and looking at him with such serenity and comfort. She focused on him, on his eyes that gazed back at her. Her heart smiled...she could see herself in his eyes. Reaching out, she moved a strand of silky brown hair behind his ear. Her fingers remained there for a few seconds before they ventured further, moving down the side of his face, following the path of his jaw to his chin.
Her fingers traced his bottom lip, offering him a smile before moving up to capture his lips with hers. She was unsure of what to do, her lips quivering against his as she gently kissed him. Her eyes remained open, looking at his face...still stoic. She felt her heart clench with pain, he wasn’t even responding.
Pulling her quivering lips from his she turned her face to the side, to ashamed to actually look at him. She felt her tears pooling around the edges of her eyes, ready to cascade down her face with a few more blinks. “You didn’t answer,” she heard him say.
Again she felt a blanket of uneasiness envelope her. All Neji ever wanted was a direct answer and he never liked waiting. She was surprised that she didn’t hear the impatience in his voice. Taking one big breath she answered him, “I wanted to show you.” Her cheeks flushed with embarrassment and shame. ‘But I guess not,’ she continue in her head. ‘It will never be between you and me. What is it that I want to show you? How can I if I can’t kiss right?’
“We should get moving,” she told him trying to get up but still not looking at him, her voice fragile with the possibility of breaking down in front of him. This is what she always feared, his rejection, and his uncaring emotions. She had always convinced herself that he would care; he had too, if not for her then for someone else. Sakura had good luck so she tried at it too, but it wasn’t on her side.
“What if we both show each other?” He asked, still holding her down with his body.
I can tell that I’m falling in love with you
Bruises prove it’s real
I can tell that I’m falling in love with you
Bruises prove it’s real
Time froze; the only motion surrounding them had vanished into the void darkness that enveloped them, hearts beating loudly in their chest. She turned to look at him, her eyes full of hope. “N-N-Neji...”
All thoughts evaporated, all colors faded, everything stilled for the two of them.
She wanted to say more, but...
I’m losing my edge
You laughed instead
Neji reached down, capturing her lips in a mind blowing kiss. He had put his feelings off for so many reasons, so many reasons that couldn’t compare with the way he felt for her, the way she made him feel.
His lips didn’t quiver against hers, they kissed her with pressure. He was trying to prove that her lips were actually touching his and that it wasn’t a dream which would fade as soon as he opened his eyes. He held her tight against him, his injured shoulder forgotten as soon as his lips made contact with hers.
She had always been the center of his everything...for as long as he could remember. First it was because she was the only female in his team and they couldn’t risk getting her injured. Then, because she gained his respect as a skilled Shinobi, but lately...he loved her.
He took up as many scars that were intended for her and when he didn’t he was furious, he was hurt that he couldn’t prevent her any damage. Training was always an excuse for him. Yes, he needed to train in order to improve his title as a Shinobi...to protect her...for her to be near him when he asked her to train.
-
Her eyes were wide, looking at him while he kissed her with such intensity. His lips were moving gently against hers, the pressure lessening. She noted the confidence in which he approached her, ‘Maybe...’
Her heart skipped a beat when his eyes opened to look at her, his face still serious, his lips still moving over hers. “Show me how much I mean to you,” he asked her as he pulled away from her lips and kissed down the side of her face.
She couldn’t help but breath out his name. His lips made her skin burn with everyone of his touches. She wondered how she would feel when his hands started touching her. She couldn’t help but blush at the thought of touching.
“Show me,” he told her again when she remained semi ridged in his arms.
“Neji...I...I-I...”
Comprehending the meaning of her intended words he answered her with a kiss. His lips were soft over hers, barely gracing hers. Gradually, he started to intensify the kiss, angling his face to deepen the kiss. One of his hands moved down, taking hold of one side of her waist, his fingers circling over the small amount of skin exposed.
He was satisfied with her compliance to the kiss and her shivers to his simple touch. He let the rest of his weight fall over hers, somewhat careful with not crushing her.
-
She enjoyed the kiss, relaxing into him, loving the way he was making her feel. One minute she loved his lips, the next his simple touch and then his well toned body over hers. All the doubt and uneasiness was fading, need and courage sweeping it away.
Moving her arms, she circled them around his neck, her fingers musing with his chocolate locks. She wrapped her legs around him, cradling him between her legs, excitement flooding her body in great quantities.
His lips left hers, moving across her cheeks, kissing down her neck and under her chin. His hand moved farther onto her skin, up her side. “Tell me how I make you feel,” he breathed into her ear.
She couldn’t answer, he wouldn’t let her. The sensations he was invoking in her were rendering her speechless. For a brief second she remembered how earlier it was him that was confused, she smile at the thought.
“Neji.” She moaned, being brought out of her thoughts when he lightly bit on her collar bone.
Neji paused, confusing Tenten. Sitting up he looked at her. “Earlier,” he started “when you were putting up a show for those fools, you were enjoying yourself...weren’t you?”
Tenten leaned on her elbows, nodding to his question.
“Do you feel the same now?”
Biting onto her lower lip she nodded again, her blush turning a darker shade.
Neji smirked, almost smiling. “So if best case scenario, you had to do that for no apparent reason and there was no one around would you have continued...would you have let me continue?”
I’m losing my edge
You laughed instead
Tenten was ready to answer until she caught on to something. ‘Is he uneasy?’ Tenten threw her head back and laughed. HER Neji, was unsure of what was happening now, that was something amusing. Her laugh was abruptly cut short when Neji took a hold of her neck and pushed her onto the ground.
She could tell that he wasn’t amused about her discovery. He remained over her, looking seriously into her eyes while still keeping a hold of her neck.
Tenten didn’t feel intimidated, Neji would never hurt her. But she was till kind of amused at his uneasiness. ‘Maybe that’s why he wanted to hear me tell him...’ Her thoughts trailed of when Neji leaned down to kiss her again. She accepted the kiss, needing it.
“I love you Tenten,” he told her with his eyes closed, forehead leaning against hers after briefly kissing her.
“I knew it,” she squealed like a fan girl, something new for the both of them. In a blind flashing move, Neji laid on his back with Tenten over him.
“I knew you had feelings for me,” she told him with a grin on her face. “How could I doubt it?” She said almost talking to herself. “You’ve been acting so strange around me, that for a second I thought you didn’t want me around any more. But that one time that you blushed...oh Neji...” Her thoughts were running in circles.
She looked down at him and for a second her smile faltered. Neji was giving her looks of pleading, almost despair. “I love you too,” she told him when she sensed the reason behind his look. Moving down she kissed him as he moved upwards. “Yes, I will let you continue,” she told him in between kisses. “I love you. I always have.”
“I had a feeling too,” he told her.
“Only because I told you I kinda had a crush on you,” she told him pushing him onto his back and kissing down his neck.
“...Before that.”
“Before what,” she asked when he didn’t elaborate.
“When we started of as a team and I wouldn’t accept you as an equal. Instead of drowning in despair for the way I treated you, you tried your hardest to impress me.”
“Impress you?” She breathed into his ear.
“I wasn’t blind you know. You blushed when you first meet me.”
“I don’t remember that,” she lied to him.s
“I do.” He told her, turning the tables and gently biting onto her earlobe.
“But I wasn’t trying to impress you,” her quivering voice told him, his lips affected her.
“I wasn’t stupid either.”
“Are you scared,” she asked him.
“Scared of what?” he asked moving back to look at her.
“This.”
“Should I be scared?”
“No...but you’re hesitating.”
“How?” He asked narrowing his eyes at her.
“You want me right?”
“Of course.”
“Well, if you weren’t hesitating you would have ravished me a long time ago,” she told him in an all knowing voice, a smile over her lips.
He didn’t have anything to say, she was right. He didn’t want to do anything that would harm their friendship. He loved her, he really did but...
“I want you too Neji. I always have, every time I’m around you I feel all tingly...like now,” she admitted with a blush. “To be honest, these past few days I’ve been teasing you just to get the satisfaction of your reactions. I thought that if you wouldn’t love me, then maybe you would appreciate me physically.”
“Well, all that teasing did work,” he confessed. “And loving you...I always have. I wasn’t being honest with myself.”
“Why not,” she asked intrigued.
“I was scared of hurting you.”
“How?”
“I don’t know. It’s been too long since I’ve been loved that I’ve forgotten about that and it’s different to love a person wholly.”
“Well when we get to Konoha, I can remind you how it feels to love and what loving wholly is.”
“I thought we were going to do that now,” he teased, bending to nip at her collar bone.
“I thought so too, but since your shy about it...” she didn’t finish that with the semi glare he was giving her.
“I’m not shy about it, it’s just I didn’t want any awkwardness between us if anything did happen.”
Tenten softly laughed to herself. “I could understand that, but not when there’s never been any sort of awkwardness between us.”
“I’ve never been committed to a relation ship.”
“I know that.”
“It’s just that...”
“Okay Neji, I get it. You’re in capable of performing sexual acts that you’re afraid I’ll find out.”
“I didn’t fucking say that,” Neji answered, offended with her statement.
“Then what is it?” She asked. She knew he was unsure of how to proceed next, she had the same feeling. It wasn’t about their love for one another, it was there, it was moving past the friendship state into a lover’s one. How could two best friends move on and not make it awkward when they have never thought of each other sexually...well they kind of did, but...it was all too unexpected. That’s what it was, unexpected for the both of them. Yes, they did want it but doubted it.
“Just forget it,” he told her not having words to explain any of it. Instead he looked at her; he looked at the way her hair spilled out over her shoulders and behind her, creating a hollow around her head. His eyes traveled over her face, taking in her smiling face. Knowing Tenten he knew that the happy expression on her face meant that she was extremely happy. He smiled at her, his heart content too.
They remained in silence, him straddling her on the ground. Her hand reached up to touch the outer edges of his bandages. Her eyes would occasionally flicker over to his, watching him watch her with great intensity. She decided to break their silence. “What now?”
The smile on her lips and the way she asked her question was very suggestive to Neji. “I’ll make you mines,” he told her bending to whisper in her ear. “That’s what you want right?”
“Eh...” Tenten didn’t know what to tell him. Of course she wanted him, but here on the forest floors...
“We could always wait.”
His answer made her feel all warm. He was being thoughtful of her, and it made her smile.
“But I’ve been waiting for years. How much longer do I have to wait?” She asked with a playful pout.
“So have I.”
“But not as much as me,” she countered.
“Are you sure?” He whispered to her again, his lips moving over her neck.
“Yes,” she moaned when he found that spot behind her ear that made her weak.
I can tell that I’m falling in love with you
Bruises prove it s real
I can tell that I’m falling in love with you
Bruises prove it s real
I can tell that I’m falling in love with you
Bruises prove it s real
I can tell that I’m falling in love with you
Bruises prove it s real
“Yes, you like what I’m doing or yes you’re positive sure.” Attentively his tongue touched at the marking he created.
“The first.” Tenten answer him, wrapping her arms around his neck, fingers slipping into his hair, indicating she liked what he was doing. If Neji prolonged things for her sake she was sure she’d be a mess before he reached his hand into her pants.
She felt her cheeks grow hot, ten times darker than they already were. “How,” she chocked on her words when Neji kissed at her collarbone. “How about we skip threw the pleasantries and really get it on.” ‘I can’t be saying this.’ She screamed in her head. Her vision of finally being Neji’s entailed something ubber romantic, a place where they would cherish for the rest of their lives. But she’d worked herself up so much with her teasing games on Neji that she wasn’t sure she’d last long enough for the undressing.
“As long as you’re sure of what you want...”
“Just as long as you don’t drag this out too much. I’m...I...” She couldn’t put it into words. She didn’t even know what she wanted to say. ‘What are you supposed to say when you’re...urgh.’ Thinking about it wasn’t going to help her either way.
He kissed at her brow. “We don’t have to do this now, not here if that’s the problem.”
“No Neji.” Her big round eyes looked at him. She then burrowed her head in between his neck. “I don’t think I could last that long...” She confide in a hushed tone, lips brushing against his skin. “I don’t think it would matter where we’re at...It still wouldn’t change the fact that...”
“I get it Tenten.” Neji murmured against the side of her face. Her uneasiness came with expressing herself about the current situation. She needed her problem to be fixed; fast, no lingering or setting the stage. He really didn’t mind, she wasn’t the only one who needed a fixture.
He rose from her a bit, his body hovering above hers. “You won’t reproach me about not making your first time romantic or any of that other stuff.” He searched her face, eyes taking in her dazed expressing. At her consent he gently kissed her, fingers zipping down her vest.
Tenten nearly shot out from her skin when his cold hands made contact with her tummy. The contrast of body heat emphasizing how worked up she’d actually been. She tried relaxing in his touch, but she couldn’t manage that, the minimum touch made her spring up a little higher. “Stay still.” Neji groaned against the side of her face.
He was trying to get the wrappings off her body. They were hugging her like a second skin that he could barely reach his hands threw them. “...a kunai.” Tenten urged, feeling as impatient as him with the bandages. Her hands had already reached down his chest, fingers tenderly skimming over his skin, under his mesh shirt.
-
When his hands made actual contact with her flushed naked skin, Tenten couldn’t suppress the delicious moan he tore from her. After her wrappings were gone and he’d set his hands on her, everything else moved at lightning speed. She couldn’t make out removing his shirt or helping him fumble with his pants. Her hands had busied themselves, lips sipping at his skin.
She could easily become an addict.
True to her words she didn’t last long. Neji hadn’t fully sheathed himself properly before she tumbled down from her first orgasm. It was endearing to hear her apologize for something she had no control over. He could visibly see how embarrassed she was with the situation.
“Tenten look at me.” She wouldn’t allow him to remove her hands from her face. He laid over her, careful with his problem.
“I hadn’t meant to...and you didn’t...I’m so sorry Neji.”
He’d told her it was okay when she gave him a surprised face, but she wouldn’t believe him.
“Just because you got of so quickly doesn’t mean it has to stop there.” He whispered into her ear, feeling her tense. He took the chance to remove her hands from her face and without sparing time dived for a kiss. And with the kiss alone, Tenten knew he didn’t intend to end it there.
His hands were already at her hips, coaxing her with his thigh to open up for him. When she did he started to nestle him self in her soft femininity, his hands mean while, moving up the side of her body; heating up her skin all over her again.
She had to break lip contact in order to whimper how good it felt to feel him slide into her. Neji peered down at her, crystal eyes watching how she trashed her head from side to side. He himself couldn’t suppress groaning at the wetness that was holding him tight. “So warm,” he bent, lips murmuring atop the skin of one breast.
Her barrier was still there, preventing him from going any farther. This time he meant to prepare her better, and he did. Still holding his place inside of her, he made sure his lips outlined every inch of skin. He made sure his love for her rained down on her.
And when he broke threw her, she in turn sang her love for him. It filled his heart with much love and joy to be able to hold her like this, to be able to show her what she’d meant for him. He wasn’t the best when it came to words. It was never required of him to voice how he actually felt, but with Tenten, though he still couldn’t fully express the depths of his love, he knew all he had to do was show her how he felt.
With a simple meshing of lips, a gentle swipe of tongues, a heart warming touch and a mind shattering stroke he was telling her enough...all that she need to know.
Welz, I’m really loving this and I hope you guys do to. If anything I'll be editing sometime soon, no major changes other than grammer wise.
Review to really show the love. Thanks!
