Chapter 2: A revelation

That night while everyone was in their tents Jack went out for a walk, when he heard a noise coming behind him. It was Sayid

“Hey man” Jack said in relief

“Hey, what you doing out?” the future soldier asked

“I was…I needed to clear my head” Jack lied

“Really? Why?” he asked raising an eyebrow

“Well…I honestly don’t know” Jack said weakly

“Come on man it’s me just tell me the truth” Sayid insisted

“Okay…you win, I saw Claire kissing Sawyer” Jack admitted

“What!” Sayid froze afraid to see Jack’s next reaction

“And what did you do?” he asked sitting on the grass, Jack did the same

“what could I do?” he asked “I just froze and just that” Jack admitted ashamed about it

“Well it wasn’t your fault” Sayid cheered him up “plus, your sister it’s not a baby anymore” he said with a smile

“I guess not, but she’s till my baby sister” He said with a deep breath

“yeah, I supouse you are right”
