Author of 3 Stories

Author’s Notes: Well I’ve felt bad that its been an entire year almost since I took All of Me off of fan and still have nothing to show for the “Work” and “revamping” I was supposed to be doing. Needless to say this is what I was talking about. For those of you who remember at all how the story began originally, then hopefully you shall see an improvement. For those who have no idea what the hell I’m talking about…I’m sorry.

Either way, I am very very lazy, and I apologize, this sadly is in no way going to be the start of regular posts, it is just a taste of what I was supposed to have given you guys several months ago.

Yes All of Me, is back, and better then ever. This is actually a repost of a story I started back in 05, and deleted in late 06 because it lacked a lot of detail, and well the general theme I wanted it to be in. But now, after a bit of revising, and rewriting, It’s back baby, One of the longest Hermione/Cho fanfictions out there! For those of you who have never read this fanfiction, I beg of you to give it a shot, even if your not a fan of femslash, or even romantic Fanfiction. You would be amazed by what you can enjoy and love, if you just give it a honest try. For those who have read this fanfic in its earlier form, its would be best to start all over again, as a lot has been added…not really so much changed, possibly moved around. The story is the same, it just has more too it now, much more depth. Anyway, on to the summary…

What if after the terrible events of fifth year, Hermione went home to rediscover herself and find out what she wants out of life, which includes a girlfriend and a chance to show people how she just wants to have some fun while she’s young. To enjoy life while she can…if she can convince herself to be happy that is.

What if Draco Malfoy after coming home to a fatherless and also motherless manor, was able to find out what true freedom is, and now coming back for his sixth year is no longer wanting to be seen as a Death Eater and heir of an Evil Muggle Hating Family. That is if anyone would trust him in the first place…

What if both these teens have found a way to get what they both want. One that brings them together as the best of friends? Just in time for the second coming of Lord Voldemort, with an army of dark creatures, and his fanatical Death Eaters?

Disclaimer: Hi, just to let every one know, this story is in fact what people like to call femslash. As in too girls involved in a romantic relationship. To let everyone know I will not accept flames that are regarding Homophobia. Any other reviews will be welcome. This story is also considered to be AU after the events of the order of the Phoenix. As that’s when this story takes place. And for those who are confused as to why it is placed under the Draco/Hermione section. That’s because the story centers around Draco and Hermione’s separate lives. For those hoping this is in fact a Romance between the two, you will be disappointed, it is infact a story about Draco and his life and love, and Hermione and hers.

Oh yes I forgot. This is a Harry Potter fanfiction as in none of it besides the plot is in any way owned by me; I am not making any profits on this. The owner ship goes to Miss J.K. Rowling, as she has the skill to create such wonderful stories. That and the song lyrics located within this Chapter are not mine, That is the song Good Riddance (time of your life) copywriten to the American band Greenday. Thank you and enjoy. Do not forget to R/R, it always helps to know what readers think.

All of Me

“Love knows no bounds, it doesn’t care, who you are, what you have done, or where you live, it is endless in its power to find the good in people. Those lucky enough to find love, should cherish it in all its glory. With those you love on your side, nothing can hurt you; love protects you from pain, shelters you from your fears, and makes you smile through your tears.”

“OUT!”

“But mum!”

“I said get out of my house, you despicable disgrace, Diseased! Vile abomination!”

“I AM NOT AN ABOMINATION! I’m your da-”

“You are no child of mine, as far as I’m concerned we never had a daughter1”

Hermione’s eyes filled with tears as she looked between her two parents, two people who just hours ago looked at her with love in their eyes. Now their eyes were filled with hate, and disgust. Her mother’s normally calm face was red from screaming. Hermione tried to calm them down, she tried to plead with them to listen.

“I’m still your daughter! Mum? Daddy?”

Turning to her father Hermione had hoped that he at least would see some reason beyond all this insanity.

“Please daddy, just let me explain!”

Seeing the look on her fathers face, a look of absolute confusion and horror, Hermione burst into tears once more. Walking blindly to her father, she tried to give him some comfort, some love.

She didn’t get more then a few steps before she felt pain run through the left side of her face. Her mother had slapped her!

Grabbing Hermione by the arm, Jane Granger swung her sixteen year old daughter away from herself and her husband.

“Don’t you dare approach him, don’t you dare even think of touching us. We loved you as our child, we even put up with you when you became a witch.” At this Jane Granger turned away from her. As if it was too painful to so much as look at her oldest child. It felt like a knife in Hermione’s heart. Turning to her husband, Brian Granger barly nodded at his wife before finishing her thoughts.

“We thought you were just special was all. But to think, that those witches, those sick freaks, did this to you. You were such a smart girl…yet you fell for such perversity. I won’t allow you to place any disgusting mind spells on us or any member of my family!”

“They’re my family too! You, mum, Leon-”

“Don’t you even think of speaking to our son again. I don’t want any of this to rub off on him!”

“It doesn’t rub off, its not a disease!

“ Of course it is! I just am happy he’s not a witch like you. To think this might have happened to both our children… maybe we can all move on, and salvage what’s left of the family you’ve ruined.”

Hermione felt what was left of her soul crack and shatter into pieces. Her parents were the only ones she had outside the Wizarding World, her parents and her younger brother Leon were the only ones who cared for her, they were her only family. I just wanted you all to love me…to love the real me…

Taking a deep breath, Hermione looked both her parents in the eye. They had all calmed down somewhat, but she could still see the anger, the hate in their eyes. She never expected to see hate coming from them. All of this was so sudden so surprising, and yet so real. It was shocking…What next…are they going to call me a Mudblood now? Abomination…Dirty blood…its practically the same thing…

“Where will I go?”

“That is not our problem. Your horrid school opens in two days, more then enough time to walk to London if you have to.”

“You aren’t even going to give me a ride!” The look in her mother’s eye was all the confirmation Hermione needed.

“You have ten minutes to pack what you want. Everything you leave behind is going to be burnt. We won’t take any chances, now hurry up. I-I just can’t look at you anymore…”

The following ten minutes were the shortest of Hermione’s life. She struggled to get all of her most prized muggle possessions into a duffel bag, and all her magical ones into her school trunk. She searched every inch of her room for any amount of change she could, she searched for every picture, every album or cherished item. If she was never coming back, she didn’t want to leave anything behind.

On her way down the stairs, Hermione realized she had forgotten to pack any clothing. Hearing a scream come from somewhere below her, Hermione quickly gathered everything she could in her arms and all but stumbled down the stairs. I can’t ever come home again…

Rushing down the last of the stairs, Hermione tried to put to memory the entire house as she last looked at it through her teary eyes. Trying to look at everything at once, she was surprised when her father roughly grabbed her arm and shoved her towards the door.

Tripping over herself, Hermione tumbled to the ground, her bags, and trunk falling to the floor and knocking one of the kitchen chairs over.

“Get out of our house, your-

“What the hell was that for?!”

Looking up from her spot on the floor, Hermione briefly realized that her brother had just come home from a friends house. Leontes Brian Granger, was Hermione’s younger brother by three years. All Muggle and the only boy of the Granger household. Now the only child of the Granger household…

“Dad? Mione? Why are you crying, why did you throw her on the floor?!”

“Leon go to your room, this is nothing important.” Hermione struggled to get to her feet, she could feel the glares of her parents on her back. Looking up at her brother, Hermione barly gave him a last look before she forced herself to look at her feet. I couldn’t bare to see him hating me…

“Mione?”

Grabbing her things, Hermione spared one more quick look at her brother, before she half ran, and was half pushed by her father out of the house. Tripping once more, Hermione just barly managed to not fall to the ground once she was past the porch. Quickly walking away from the house, Hermione couldn’t hold in her anguish any longer as she started to cry loudly to anyone who could hear her on the street.

Walking down the street Hermione was just about to cross the street away from her quiet home when she heard her brother yelling from behind her.

“Hermione! Wait!”

Hermione continued to walk away though, she even tried to run for a bit, before it became too hard. Not daring to turn back, to see her ’family’ look at her with hate in their eyes any more, to hear them call her disgusting, a disgrace to the family, or an abomination once again. She ran, with only the smallest of whispers to her little brother.

“I love you Leontes…”

It wasn’t even three in the afternoon, and Hermione Granger was homeless.

“Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road.
Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go.
So make the best of this test, and don't ask why.
It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time.

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

So take the photographs, and still frames in your mind.

Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time.
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial.
For what it's worth, it was worth all the while.

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.”

Draco slowly took off his head phones and put them back into his bag, he was entering Platform 9¾, and such entertaining devices wouldn’t work around so much magic. Its tragic really… Moving through the small crows Draco quickly moved off to the side to stuff them into some deep crevice of his bag. Sixth year hadn’t even started yet, and the last thing he needed was the wrong person to ask questions about the strange headset he had around his head.

Dropping a small leather backpack onto the floor, Draco quickly put the headphones, and CD player (which he had sneakily hidden in his robes) into one of the compartments. Out of one of them he noticed that there seemed to be a piece of paper stashed with a few of his other items. that wasn’t there before. Eyebrows coming together in confusion, Draco reached out and plucked the paper out of his bag. Looking closely he noticed that it wasn’t paper at all, but parchment. Folded parchment with his name on the front in a sloppy yet clean script. This wasn’t written with a quill…hmmm, figures. Knowing that only one person would of left him such a letter, he quickly unfolded it and read through it quickly. In the same messy and yet not too messy hand writing, was a short message that lifted Draco’s spirits more then if the letter had been written several feet long.

Thought I would of let you go without a letter did you Drake? Hmm…well where’s the fun in that? I’ll make this short, just want to wish you a good term, and to let you know I’m going to be hopelessly bored with out you. Remember what we talked about, and damn those who don’t matter.

Don’t do anything too stupid, and send me a letter every now and then alright? -C

Draco snorted at the end of the letter. Don’t do anything too stupid…because of course you can’t expect me to do nothing stupid, now can you? Quickly putting the letter in a pocket, Draco zipped his bag, up and hefted it onto his trunk. Removing his wand from his robe, he whispered a charm to stick the two together. Running a hand through his hair, Draco smoothed out his robes, and shifted a bit. Sixth year at Hogwarts was going to start soon, and of course Draco Malfoy had too look his best. Placing a bored look on his face, he quietly strode forth from the corner he was in, heading for the train, and the no doubt interesting school year that lay beyond. If only I could have my damn music…

The crowd was slowly thinning out, as every one rushes to get onto the platform and on the train. Watching all of this was Hermione Granger, coming back for her sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. But this Hermione Granger was not the same one that had left the school the previous term. The Hermione Granger who had come out of the Department of Mysteries last term, who had battled Lord Voldemort’s Death Eaters, the Hermione Granger who had been able to over exceed on all but a few of her O.W.L’s. That Hermione Granger was proud of who she was, she was confident, she had friends and family who cared for her, both inside and outside the wizarding world. She knew exactly where she was and what she was heading for when it came to her life, and her future was a bright one she only had to wait to experience.

The Hermione Granger that stepped through the platform today was all but broken. She looked nothing like her former self, she seemed tired, her clothing was disheveled, and looked worn, her hair was messier then usual, and her eyes were always downcast. She moved through the crowd quietly and noticed by almost no one, most of the students boarding the train at the moment, didn’t know quite who she was, the ones who did know her were almost shocked by what they saw. Hermione Granger, best friend of Harry Potter, The-Boy-Who-Lived, and Gryffindor’s famous know it all, seemed to be only an image of what she had been before. She looked tired and worn, almost as if she had spent the last few days sleeping on the ground.

Moving towards the train, Hermione was only half trying not to run into people. Her main goal was getting on the train, and finding a place to just sit. Finding Harry and Ron were pretty much second to that. The last few days had been utter hell for her, she felt like she hadn’t slept in weeks. Her hair was so horribly in disarray she almost wanted to cut it all off. No that would be a bit much, even for me…though amusingly shocking…

The only thing that kept her going was her sense of humor, and her books. Though the latter even was becoming more and more depressing the more she read them. Hermione had noticed that though she had an avid love of books and knowledge, it had a habit of destroying her social life when she chose books over people. The last few days were evidence in how lonely she could be when she had nothing but books to occupy her time. And now reading them just reminded her of being lonely. A stark contrast to her first year of Hogwarts where she had preferred books over company, now five years later her old solace from the hell of a normal life was the one thing she was tired of. How I’d like to have a normal life.

Moving close to the train Hermione had just started to place her trunk in a luggage compartment when she heard several people yelling her name.

“Hermione!”

“Mione!”

“Hey Hermione!”

The three voices were followed by three consecutive bodies all but flying into her. Hermione could barly brace herself as she felt herself all but fly off her feet. Though she was being pressed against a train and three people, Hermione couldn’t help but smile, as she looked at the people who were now hugging her and telling her how much they missed her, Hermione couldn’t help but feel that she was returning home, rather then to school. I’m not all by myself anymore. For what seemed like the first time in weeks, Hermione was smiling.

Her companions eventually released her so they could all looked at her properly, and Hermione saw that it was indeed Harry, Ron, and Ginny who had tackled her so venomously.

“Hermione it is so great to see you! How was your summer?”

Hermione’s smile grew even more as she looked at her best friends before her. Harry and Ron both had grown a few inches, leaving Harry at an even six feet by the looks of it, while Ron seemed to tower over everyone with what looked to be almost five inches over Harry. Hermione had been somewhat excited over the summer, when she found she had grown another few inches, but now looking at her friends…She was still quite short compared to the two of them. Ginny she noticed had grown a bit, she now came up to Harry’s chin, and was almost equal to Hermione’s height. Over all though not much had changed, Ron’s hair had been shaved down quite a bit, near military style. It actually doesn’t look that bad, it suits him truthfully. Ginny’s hair was fluffed up a bit, and spilling over her shoulders, her hair seemed to have gain some color, and was now a much deeper red then it seemed to have been just months before.

Harry looked, well just like Harry. His hair was just as long and unruly as ever, his glasses were a bit lopsided, and his clothes were just as baggy and outdated as always. The only thing Hermione noticed about him was his smile, it seemed to be much wider then it normally would have been. Looking at the identical smile on Ginny’s face, Hermione was drawn to see that their hands were clasped together, and the two of them were standing quite close to one another.

“Oh my! Are you two- you know? Are you two together?” Hermione gestured to their holding hands. Harry just nodded, while Ginny giggled and nodded several times.

“Yep, we got together just over a month ago, when Harry was staying over at the burrow!”

“Yes, it was a fun time had by all…” Hermione laughed at the down trodden sound of Ron’s voice.

“Oh Ron how bad could it of been, your best friend and your sister going out?”

Ron leveled her with a indescribably look.

“How bad could it of been? I couldn’t have a conversation with him, without Ginny in his lap, or holding his hand, or kissing him on the lips when I was talking…Then there were the “alone time” they wanted, and sitting next to one another during dinner, and not going to bed until almost morning…” Hermione motioned for Harry and Ginny to follow her, as the four of them made their way onto the train, Ron still lamenting about the horrors of his sister and his best friend as they walked.

“ The interrupted quidditch games, the degnoming they wanted to do together, the inside jokes they came up with, the constant smiles and laughing…”

“So in other words, you guys had a good summer then right?” the four of them had finally found a compartment, and ignoring Ron the three of them started really getting into their summer.

Harry mentioned how he wrote several letters to Dumbledore saying how he would rather live on the street then stay with the Dursley’s this summer. Though Harry didn’t say it, Hermione could tell much of his anger at the situation was over Sirius’ death. The two of them talked about how Harry was finally allowed to come over to the burrow sometime in early July, where Ginny and him got to know one another a bit. Ginny was the one Harry actually opened up to about the whole event, and Hermione was sure more then a few other things he wouldn’t talk about to his two best friends. All in all they said that after getting to know one another more, things just moved on from there. Hermione was happy for her two friends, she smiled at the two of them and mentioned how glad she was (and a bit about how she knew it was going to happen sooner or later) for them.

“-Then there was the time I walked in on them snogging in MY room of all places, so yes summer was just absolutely peachy, really…just divine!”

“Well great Ron, I’m glad your able to handle this so maturely!” Hermione gave him a patronizing hug, as the three of them laughed at Ron for his tirade of complaints.

“So how was your summer Mione?”

Hermione felt her body go cold for a moment, for the last ten minutes or so, she had forgotten about her summer, all wrapped up in everyone else’s lives, she had been able to imagine that she had been their with them, enjoying the wonderful events that they got to live with…instead of how her last few days had been.

“My what?” Hermione blinked a bit, obviously stalling. What am I going to tell them…my summer was absolutely peachy until I told my parents that….Oh god, what am I going to do? Can I tell them? I mean they wouldn’t act like my parents would they?

Abomination!

Disgusting!

A Disgrace!

Freak!

Out of my house!

No Daughter of mine…

Hermione shivered slightly from the memories, she could still feel the anger and hate coming from her mothers eyes, and Leon…she could still hear him calling after her. Mione…

“Mione?” Hermione snapped back to reality, she found herself now staring at her three best friends, no hate, no disgust or anger in their eyes, just confusion, and wonder.

“Oh I’m sorry…blanked out there for a moment…my summer? Oh nothing really that eventful, just the usual excitement…reading, and studying.”

Looking a bit odd, Harry was the first one to change his expression a bit. Hermione knew that out of the three of them, Harry could spot a lie the best, Ginny was good at understanding but she was very trusting, and Ron was both trusting, and gullible at the same time…but sadly the least understanding of the three of them.

“So nothing happened then? You didn’t go anywhere, didn’t do anything out of the ordinary? Nothing eventful stand out during your summer?”

“No nothing really…” I just got kicked out of my house for telling my parents that I’m…

Hermione then envisioned what it would be like if she actually told her friends everything. All the horrible things that had happened, down to the secret she had decided to share with her loving parents, to the destruction it had brought. The hate, the pain, and the last two days…where she had spent all but literally walking from her old neighborhood to London, so to get here on time. Do I tell them that I’m technically homeless? That by the end of the school year, I’ll have no where to go?

Hermione wondered what it would mean to tell them…She knew Ginny would be the most understanding, not only because it was in her nature to trust and to try to understand those different then her. Ginny was a girl, and could sympathize with her at least on that level. Ginny also knew what it was like to be so different then everyone…being the only female Weasley of her generation, and then having the events of her first year always in her mind…She would at least feel bad for her, if she wasn’t all too supporting.

Harry was another one that should be able to sympathize with what it was like to be different. He was after all the Boy-Who-Lived, Voldemort’s number one nemesis perhaps after Dumbledore…He had never known a normal life. But Hermione knew that though Harry hated the Dursley’s, some of their habits had rubbed off on him, he had been raised by them none the less. She had noticed it first year, when he was so unable to except magic, how he found it so unbelievable, and how he was so quick to judge others. Though a great man by most standards and one with a very calm temper at most times, Hermione wasn’t too sure how much she could trust him to understand with this issue, it had just never came up between the three of them…

Then there was Ron, and (Hermione shivered at the thought of telling him) though a lovable goof at all times, and trusting to a fault…Ron was the least understanding of them all, though he came from a loving family, he came with prejudices and ideals that said family had, and he seemingly he had more then his fare share of them. No Ron would be the least safe of the three of them, especially with his hot temper. He would be the first one to start with the insults with the depraved comments and….

Disgusting…you Disgrace, Get out of my House!

Hermione just couldn’t bare to live with her friends hating her for what she was…

“Excuse me, I-I need to use the washroom.”

Hermione was quick to run out of the compartment, she felt like she was going to be sick…Isn’t there anyone I can trust with this? My parents disowned me, will my friends do the same?

Draco Malfoy found himself sitting alone quietly in his own compartment for the majority of the ride to Hogwarts. He didn’t especially want to be bothered by anyone, though many did try. Mostly it was Pansy that came into his compartment, wanting to catch up on his summer, and no doubt spend some time alone with him, where she would probably try to accost him. The girl made Draco want to vomit to tell the truth. Blaise as well as both Crabbe and Goyle were quick to meet with him, as they had several times in the summer. Draco was much more polite with them, and didn’t tell them to leave him alone with a few flicks of his wand, and a muttered curse. But in the end, he told them he would be best, if left alone to his thoughts.

The up coming school year was going to be very different indeed, very inspiring and eventful, and Draco Malfoy wanted to plan it to perfection.

Draco removed a bit of parchment from his pocket and along with a quill and some ink (you never knew when you needed to write something down after all.) proceeded to write down a few thoughts an idea’s. The school ride this year was much more comforting Draco noticed, as opposed to the former ones. It seemed smoother and calmer then usual, and for once Draco felt neither nervous for the year to beginning or anxiety over his duties as heir to the Malfoy house. Really for once I am completely free to do what I please…finally free. Draco’s mind wandered back to his home, to the letter he had received in his bag, and to the person who sent it. A smile formed on is face as his mind wandered…Now if only I could have everything I want…

Draco’s thoughts were broken when his compartment door opened for what seemed to be the tenth time that day. Calmly resting his quill and ink down lest they spill all over the place, he turned to the newest distraction, one hand all but ready to raise his wand.

“What do you…want now?”

His words tapered off in a confusing question as he looked at the person before him.

Expecting some Slytherin or perhaps a Ravenclaw, perhaps a few unsorted first years…but Draco never expected Hermione muggle born Granger to come bursting through his compartment like a madwomen.

“Granger? What are you doing here?”

It seemed to take her a moment to recognize him, her face had been one of shock or something similar when she came in, and now just held annoyance.

“What? Malfoy, what are you doing here?”

Draco raised an eyebrow, trust the smartest witch of the year to ask answer a question with the same exact question.

“Well I’m returning for our sixth year of school Granger, and this is my compartment. Now I believe I asked you first. What exactly are you doing here?”

“I-I was looking for the washroom.”

Shaking his head Draco turned back to his work.

“Six years on this train and you still haven’t found the washroom…they are labeled quite visibly Granger. I’m sure you can spot them if you look hard enough.”

Bloody Gryffindors…

“Well excuse me but I wasn’t exactly watching where I was going-

“Well that’s for sure isn’t it?”

“-and, Shut up! I happened to be in a hurry, so excuse me for disrupting your peaceful solitude.”

Sighing Draco, sat his ink down once more before looking at the annoying Gryffindor once more.

“You are forgiven, now then if you are in a hurry, please continue on and try not to mess yourself.”

Now maybe I can get some peace and quite.

Seeing his now ruined thoughts as a lost, Draco put his ink and quill away, and stuffed his parchment back in his pocket. Reaching into his bag at his feet, Draco removed a small book, and after brushing back the cover he began reading the introduction. She’s been hounding me to read this bloody book, oh its soo great…might as well get on to it, now I guess.

A/N: I hope that this is in some way a form of payment for such long overdue work. Please feel free to review and let me know how much you enjoy it, and how angry you are that its been this long, and how there are no promises for anything else in the near future.

I know...I'm horrible...
