The Mysteries Of A Young Monk's Past
By JustTJ
Chapter One
"Hey, kiddies!" Dojo shouted over at the training field. "A new Shen-Gong-Wu just revealed itself!"
He then sneezed.
"Sorry," he said. "Summer colds, ya know."
"Eew," Kimiko moaned. "So, what's the new Wu, Dojo?"
"The Necklace of Dashi," Dojo said. "Whoever possesses this Wu, can transform himself or herself into a dragon."
"We must race toward the Wu," Omi said.
"I think the partner means, 'We must get to the Wu,'" Clay corrected.
"Come on, guys," Raimundo said. "We can't get the Wu by standing around. We got to get moving. And since Dojo got a cold, I say we could use a little ride. Silver Manta Ray!"
He activated the Wu and the monks took off. They went to a dark forest. It was dark that Kimiko had to use her element to light up their path, but has to be careful not to get the forest on fire. They kept on walking and walking.
"How long is it to the Wu?" Clay asked.
"Up ahead, I think," Raimundo said.
"You said that 5 minutes ago," Kimiko said.
Then, without them noticing, someone was watching them. Someone in the shadows, but looks young, and looks like a 13-year-old. It was hanging from a tree. It then jumped to another one. Omi's dots glowed as he looked around.
"Something wrong, Omi?" Kimiko asked.
Omi knew he sensed a presence.
"You sense that?" he asked.
"Isn't looking for the Shen-Gong-Wu a little more important than sensing a certain someone?" Raimundo asked as they walked on.
Then, they spotted something glowing. It was a golden necklace with an eye of a dragon on it.
"There it is!" Omi said.
"Let's bagged this Wu and go," Clay said.
Then, the wind was blowing around. They looked up and saw Jack Spicer and his Jack-Bots.
"Not so fast, weirdos," Jack said. "This Shen-Gong-Wu is mine. It could be quite useful for my quest for World Domination. Jack-Bots! Attack!"
The Jack-Bots charged at them.
"Split up and take them down!" Raimundo ordered.
They jumped to separate directions and started kicking butt. They were kicking their butts really easy. The same person who was watching them up in the trees was still watching them, kicking Jack Spicer's butt. But then, a Jack-Bot pushed Raimundo to the ground and was going to fire a laser right at him. A black ray appeared out of nowhere and destroyed the Jack-Bot. Raimundo sat up, but then saw the person who saved him, a girl. She offered her hand to help Raimundo up.
"Out thou needs assistance to battle thy enemy?" she asked.
Raimundo grabbed the girl's hand and she helped him up.
"Thanks," Raimundo said. "Who are you?"
Then, they saw Jack Spicer going toward the Wu.
"Explainations will reveal-eth in time, Dragon of The Wind," the girl said. "Thou must stop thy enemy from getting the Shen-Gong-Wu, or it'll bring about the next apocalypse in this world of thee."
"You got a smart mouth there," Raimundo said.
"Pleasure," the girl said. "Xiaolin Dragon Serpent Wings! Dark!"
She then grown black wings as she flew toward the Wu. As she touched the Shen-Gong-Wu, Jack touched it as well.
"I challenge thee in a manner most merciless and unforgiving to a Xiaolin Showdown," the girl said. "Thou must wager no Shen-Gong-Wu in this battle we shall hath."
Jack had a question mark on the top of his head.
"What?" he said.
"What she was trying to say is," Raimundo started to say. "She challenged you to a Xiaolin Showdown. You guys must not wager any Shen-Gong-Wu."
"You understand what she says?" Kimiko asked.
"I'm an expert at things like this," Raimundo said.
"Fine, fine, fine," Jack said. "The game will be...first one to say 'I Want My Mommy' loses."
"Let's go!" the girl said. "Xiaolin Showdown!"
Then, the arena changed. The Xiaolin Warriors got into their Xiaolin Showdown Armors, and the girl was wearing a cool-looking armor, a dark red, green, and blackish color of her armor. They were in positions.
"Gong-Ye-Tem-Pi!" they both shouted.
"Cheating time!" Jack said. "Monkey Staff!"
He then transformed into his monkey form and jumped up, going to land on the girl. The warriors gasped. But then. The girl jumped up and Jack missed.
"Xiaolin Dragon Sword Slash! Dark!" the girl said.
She then got a sword in her hand. And she try to swung it right at Jack, but he kept on missing.
"You're even more pathetic than me, sweetheart," Jack said.
"Thou dares to challenge me with blindness pride, foolish one?" the girl said.
"What?" still, Jack doesn't get it.
"Xiaolin Dragon Pheonix Formation! Dark!" the girl said.
She then transformed into a pheonix and aimed right at Jack Spicer. He screamed as he was hit.
"Doth thou has anything else to say?" the girl asked. "Or must thou pay with price most dear?"
"Just one," Jack said. "I WANT MY MOMMY!"
Then, everything went back to normal and the monks and the girls were back in their clothes. The warriors ran to the girl as Jack Spicer took off, crying.
"T'is Shen-Gong-Wu must belong to thee, young chosen ones," the girl said.
Omi took the Shen-Gong-Wu from the girl.
"Thank you, whoever you are," he said.
"Thy name is Ayumi Kyoko," the girl introduced.
"Nice to meet you," Kimiko said.
"I'm Raimundo," Raimundo said. "The leader of the group. This is Omi, Kimiko, and Clay."
"Howdy, little lady," Clay said as he tipped his hat.
"I am honor-eth to meet thee, Xiaolin Dragons-In-Training," Ayumi said.
"One question," Omi said. "Are you a Xiaolin Dragon-in-Training yourself?"
"Official Xiaolin Dragon, mine dear chosen ones," Ayumi said.
"OFFICIAL XIAOLIN DRAGON?!?!?!" the warriors said together.
"But how is this possible?" Omi asked. "You're still young!"
"Thy training with thee Grandmaster took it's toll, young dragon," Ayumi said.
"Grandmaster?" Kimiko said. "Who's your grandmaster?"
"Grandmaster Dashi?" Omi guessed.
"Precisely, Dragon of Water," Ayumi said. "1500 years ago, thy-self was once thou's student."
"Wait, how old are you?" Clay asked.
"13," Ayumi answered.
"1513 years old, huh?" Raimundo asked. "But why didn't you even age?"
Ayumi didn't speak for a long time.
"Mine life story will reveal in time, young Xiaolin Dragons," Ayumi said. "Thy guess that thou must go back to your temple to your master?"
"You can come with us," Kimiko said. "Since you're a Xiaolin Dragon, you can come stay with us."
"Thy am most pleased to hear that," Ayumi said. "But I must thou not go back to where I once live-eth."
"Come on!" Raimundo said. "We got plenty of room. We don't get much visitors, but you get used to it."
Hmm..." Ayumi was thinking. "I accept-eth your offer, Xiaolin Dragons. I could stay for a day or two, for much more to come."
The warriors cheered.
"Silver Manta Ray!" Raimundo shouted as he activated the Silver Manta Ray.
Ayumi sat in the front with Raimundo while the others sat in the back. Then, they took off. But what they didn't noticed, is that something or someone was watching them...
